Meh. Just meh. Perhaps even sub-meh.
Super greasy, but not in a proper greasy Filipino food fashion. My food wasn't even that hot. Maybe I should have gone with the 'silogs?
Service wasn't very friendly at all. I'm with Viola V. I think they didn't approve of my Californian accent. Dude, you're Filipino!!! We're so friendly it's weird! No smile and barely a greeting. Get it together, people. Sheesh.
I enjoyed their sinigang the last time I went in, but I also received bad customer service because I was not FOB-y enough for them. Excuse me for not speaking with a thick Filipino accent as I ordered!
Dive. Yep, it's a dive. It's greasy but cheap food. They have a couple of Filipino dishes under heat lamps and you can order rice and two or three choices. Menu changes daily.
They also have desserts. Yummy. If it's sweet how could it be bad?!
As I recall there's one or two small tables inside. A better choice is take out and eat in the nearby park.
P.S. I feel somewhat bad about only giving two stars because the food is really affordable, but I'm just a food snob at heart.
Cheap. Greasy food (turo-turo style). 1 or 2 item combo meal. Friendly service. Small location (next door to a liquor/convenience store) and decor could use a little bit of sprucing up. Parking lot is a bit ghetto.
This place reminds me of my aunt's living room. It has several tables with different topiaries, and then a BIG SCREEN tv to watch The Filipino Channel (TFC) while you eat your beefstek, munggo, and two large scoops of rice--that are all under $6! It's a dive like the other reviewer said, but it's cheap, decent Filipino food.
