Our family and relatives visit this Filipino restaurant because the food tastes almost as good as home cooking.  (Nothing beats MOM cooking!!!)  A small restaurant with a friendly people

This place is disgusting...I went in here once and never again!  Their food is always cold or old because it was yesterday's dish that was re-cooked with a newer batch for the day.  Come to find out this place was shut down twice!!  Closed on 2/21/97 to 2/24/97 and then again on 3/1/11 to 3/5/11 due to vermin infestation, vermin harborage and gross contamination of food preparation surfaces!

If you want to die from eating at this place then go ahead and buy food here...but I'm telling you, this place is disgusting.

Both closure reports are on the L.A. Times.

This is a little hole in the wall Filipino restaurant.  For the price you pay the food is great!

I used to visit this place quit often, but after getting cold food twice I don't think i will not go back. Which sucks because I work right across the street and if they would serve hot food hot,  I would go more often

Now in Filipino Carson, there's this little hole in the wall place for Filipino food. It's called Ading Delia's. Now you will see the huge DJ Bibingkahan in front of it. The food there is alright, but Ading Delia's is right next to the Pizza place and the food there is a lot more authentic than any other place in Carson.

It just reminds me of how my mom cooks adobo, sinigan (is that spelled right?). The usual skewer sticks, white rice...all the good stuff. Great thing about this place is that it never gets too busy and crowded. The staff there is really nice and it has the feel of a modest neighborhood restaurant in the Philippines.

Remember, behind the DJ Restaurant on Carson St. across the street from the school.

LOOKS. I chanced upon this place driving back home from Back Home from Lahaina. I actually pulled into the parking lot because of DJ Bibingkahan but then noticed that there are lots of Filipino establishments in this mini-mall. I took a little exploring and ended up going to Aling Delia's. Well, I thought I can always find DJ Bibingkahans elsewhere but this place seems unique.

As you enter, it reminds you of a Filipino restaurant from the old country. It is barely decorated and hardly any service available. I guess the idea is, look at the steamer trays and point what you want. If you are waiting for a hello and welcome to my dump, you will not get that here.

I have to say Aling Delia's selections are pretty good. They have more selections than Pinoy Pinay in Artesia. Everything seems very appetizing. Since this is my first visit, I decided the menu item I compare all Filipino restaurants with ... Lechon Kawali (fried pork). This menu item is so basic Filipino that if you mess this thing up you don't deserve to be open at all.

I must say, the servings at Aling Delia's were very generous. I was happy with what I got. I was even given a complimentary soup. I found a nice spot to park my @$$, by the window. I sat down and finally took my fist bite. Yikes, the Lechon Kawali was hard and overcooked. The skin was hard. The rice was ok but the soup was too salty.  I guess with regards to this place looks can really be deceiving.  It looks good but taste is completely another story.

I didn't really finish my meal. Since this is my second stop Yelping and I am 0 for 2 in disappointment I decided to head  home and to call it a day visiting restaurants.

This is one of the good places to go for filipino food. I think it's less well known than Manila Sunrise, but the food is just as good if not better. I think it also has more selection.

I came here for the buffet and the food is good, always fresh and homemake who can say anymore? You definitely get more for the price. A great hole-in-the-wall if you can find it!

I'm only giving this place 3 stars because I've tasted way better and because I have fond memories of eating at this place way before DJ Bibingkahan came into the same strip mall and took over Delia's customers (most of them).

    POSITIVES:
-The food's a little better than Maynilla.

    NEGATIVES:
-The restroom SUCKS mainly because of the dumb-ass Filipino gangs tagging all over it...I mean shit, why do you tag all over a place that's trying to make your culture look good, ya know?

-Not as much vibe and variety of food as they had back in the days.

-Delia has passed it's prime....DJ Bibingkahan killed it...I would move to another area.

-I'd rather go to Manilla's Lechon or Manilla Sunrise now.

    FINAL THOUGHTS/SUGGESTIONS:
    -their sinigang is not bad.

I was a huge fan for years, until a very recent awful, unforgettable experience. This place used to be manned by two older ladies but seems there has been a change of management lately and so are new faces, a big plasma screen and some new decor. I continued to patronize this place until just last week when I ordered their spare ribs sinigang to-go. I went home, ate it and kept wondering why does the meat taste a bit spicy and different. In fact some pieces of meat are a bit discolored as if it had a dark yellow hue to it. It actually tasted more like their version of the spicy ribs rather than sinigang. I tell ya I can very well taste the spiciness of the meat, and the discoloration - just a dead giveaway. I swore that was the last time I'd ever set foot at that restaurant. I'm sad to say goodbye after my years of loyalty, but how can I eat their food with certain thoughts in mind. I certainly wish it wasn't some mixup of meat or seasoning, but what I have concluded from the experience now precludes me from desiring Filipino food from this popular place.
