Alina B. is the place to go! The help and knowledge Alina gives to her customers is unparalleled. I came in looking like an American Apparel android and left looking like the confident European fashionista Alina knew I could be. I still follow the style tips Alina gave me!
With the help of Alina B. my closet is now jam packed with goodies from Europe. The jewelry line, Flint, that Alina carries is also to die for!
Next time you want to impress your husband, or those classmates at your next high school reunion, or even your girlfriends at your next book club meeting I highly recommend you step into Alina B!Listed in: Born to Shop

I have been in love with this store for quite some time now. I loved her original Danville store too but the Blackhawk mall was just not good enough for this fasionable little gem. The moment you walk in, you are surrounded in gorgeous colors and beautiful fabrics... a heaven for any woman who loves fashion. I always find an entirely new and fresh selection that I do not see anywhere else in the city including top quality places like Newman Marcus or Barneys.
What I really love about Alina B is that the owner Alina Bialobrodska has the natural fashion sense and she expands my horizon - I always pick up something that I normally would not, yet I don't look like wearing latest Prada or Versace and trying too hard. Alina's regulars completely depend on her to pick out all the clothes like she is your personal shopper. When I was there the last time, one of her clients had Alina pick out a dress and jacket for her big birthday. When Alina brought out the set, I didn't think much of it, but once the woman put them on, she looked absolutely stunning.
Alina can "pair" a person and clothes like a world class sommelier can pair food and wine. That's a talent not too many boutique owners/ clerks possess. They usually tell you anything and everything look good on you merely to sell the merchandise. Not Alina. She is honest like your real girlfriend.
Oh, and Alina is super nice too.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to any woman who loves beautiful clothes. -

So in my mission to check out every WC downtown business I walked into Alina B expecting to find some serious designer duds at some serious designer prices.
And I have to say, I was a little surprised at what I did find.
Walking around the store I started to wonder about Alina B's style choices. The jackets all have sleeves made out of different material (a look I haven't worn for 4 years and had doubts about then) and the one I did like was made out of PVC, which I no longer buy.
The belts were cute, very kickass. However everything was marked up beyond measure, basically as I expected.
The customer service was good and very friendly. But prices aside, I have more than a few doubts about the actual style and material choices.
Sorry, I don't think I'll be back. -

The sign on the door says 70%off however still very expensive. Also, walked in the store and nobody even greeted me. There was only one other person other than me that day. Definitely not coming back.

I was finding myself a little "stuck" in my fashion choices....DVF, Milly, Ella Moss, basically the Neimans or Saks contemporary department, or even Samantha Lee a few doors down. I wanted to find some items with a little more edge. I walked into Alina b and found it. The clothes definitely have a European feel; lots of interesting pieces to mix and match. My salesperson was very knowledgeable, helpful and sweet. The prices are a little high which is why it loses a star.

I found this boutique by mistake - I wandered into Alina B and poof! I found another great boutique to love! Quality, stylish, designer and lovely clothes are what I found. I wish there were more sizes - I am no longer a size 2 but enjoy dressing well! Still I found clothes at Alina B that complement and add great touches to my wardrobe. The owner and the staff I have met are all helpful without being pushy or making me feel "old" (did I mention I am not 20 but almost 50!) or otherwise creating a feeling of uneasiness. I was very comfortable - very happy with the great service - very happy w/my purchases! Great addition to my "Where is something new?" list!

I went to the Alina B. store last month to buy my wife a present. I expected high-end, quality European clothes, and instead I found the opposite. The selection was poor, and I am sure my wife has had some of the items for a few years (not brands, I mean exact item); she is very picky about having the latest "season", so I have learned to be careful about this.
Since I went when the new clothes are supposed to be in, I was quite surprised to see such a mishmash of brands and sizes - very frustrating. I would expect that at Ross, but not a European boutique. It may be that the Walnut Creek store is a clearance shop (I noticed that there is a Yelp entry for a Danville store); if so, they should be more clear. I do not get extra credit for buying out of date clothes at a clearance store ;-)
I should note that among the few true European brands, there are a lot of cheap items that were clearly not from Europe and were very low quality. I was very disappointed at the selection and the aggressiveness of the woman who was there - it was like being in a market in Mexico: if I so much as touched something, she said it would be perfect! Come on, I know times are tough, but I hate being pushed like that. I don't know if she was the owner or just working there, but that is too much.
I ended up walking out and buying something at another European Boutique just a block or two away on the other side of the street (next to the 1515 restaurant); I will have to write a review of that place.
Anyway, not a good choice for men shopping for gifts in my view. Maybe women who like to search for the hidden gem among the straw would like this. There was no one there when I was, so I am not sure.
