Alicia is really nice, really helpful and full of suggestions if you need help!
Selection is pretty good--I found a good 3 things that were good enough to be conflicted about, they were really cute! (Went for a 1920s thing, found some cute little things!) The shop is pretty tiny, though, so it's a bit of a struggle.
Minus one star for the price. I mean, as far as costume rental places go, it's pretty standard/a little teeny bit cheaper (and she throws in accessories too). But it's just not for some people. The things I was looking at were ~70 to rent for the weekend. Which basically means It better be a damn good occasion--take a lot of pictures to make it worth it. But again, price is pretty standard as far as costume rental goes. I think the only way you could get cheaper is to go to LA. -

Alicia is awesome! Her selection of costumes is amazing. You can see many of them online on her website. There is an array of sizes to choose from, too. The costumes are fairly theater quality and mostly not of the slutty kind. I am a big girl (2XL to 3XL) and she had a wide variety of characters for me to choose from. Definitely my go to place for costumes!

Alicia's Costumes is a year-round store focused entirely on costume rental. I've checked out several similar stores in the area and their catalog easily offers one of - if not THE - best selections around, and they have many more costumes beyond their catalog. How they fit all those costumes into such a small store is a mystery onto itself.
The owner - I assume her name is Alicia - gets bonus points for knowing her mythological creatures - AND she had a costume for it. I won't tell you which, because I don't want anyone biting my style! ;) When I asked for the same creature at stores in Pasadena and Arcadia, I was met with blank stares.
Rental prices are roughly the same everyone else charges in the SGV. What surprised me, although I suppose it makes sense as a business model, is that the store ONLY has rental costumes. If you want fake ears, makeup, etc you'll have to go elsewhere. -

Alicia's Costume Design was able to get me a last minute Santa Suit for a children's party. The price was great and had all we needed to keep children believing in the magical man...Santa! Thank you Alicia for your wonderful talent!
