The young man who runs it is, Benjamin Orozco, has got to be one of the most wonderful and nicest people I had the pleasure of coming across. He is very sweet and tried his all to help me out. Unfortunately, I couldn't get what I wanted, but, if I ever need anything else, HE WILL get my repeat business.
It started with the fact that I needed a video taken from my SD card. I tried everywhere, including Drivesavers (who I think did not do a sufficient check/job, but they were most definitely nice enough) and no one could do anything to help me.
So I went to Alhambra Computer Services as my only hope. Mr. Orozco liked the cause I was representing. He tried LIKE HELL to extract the footage, but nothing and I mean niothing could come of it since I finally have to resolve myself to accepting the fact that it is overwritten and so thus it is a lost cause, try as I might and try as hard as I did.
If I could give this young man 6 or 10 stars, I would. He is sincere and passionate about what he is doing. I highly recommend and hopefully next time when I go to him for something, I won't be a dolt and overwrite it. -

This review is a bit late, but I wanted to wait awhile to see how my restored Dell was functioning. A couple of months later and I can confidently recommend Ben and his services to anyone with computer problems. He literally brought my laptop back to life after I had been attempting to fix it myself for two months. It took him two days. This is why you have to leave it to the professionals!
Ben took the time to keep me updated on the status AND generously asked if he could keep my laptop for an additional day to install more programs for me, at no additional cost. How could I say no? When I came in for the pick-up, Ben went through each and every one of the programs to explain their purpose and how to use them. Honestly? I wish I had brought a pen because there was so much information that I'm sure I only remember 1/5 of what he told me. But he did offer any additional assistance via email if needed.
The cost ended up being exactly what I had expected, but the quality of service and timeliness was very unexpected. I'm so lucky to have Ben just 10 minutes driving distance from my house. It's good to know my laptop can be trusted in his hands if it ever goes down again. Thanks, Ben! -

Ben is a good, honest and responsible business person. Great customer service and a good attitude. He took the time to explain and was always readily available to discuss over phone or text status updates. I would recommend Alhambra Computer Services. -

I took in a Mac computer not long ago. The owner seems pretty knowledgeable. Repaired it like he said he would. Seems a little expensive, but everything works. That's the main thing.

One day I turned on my computer, but it will freeze and give me a blue screen every time I restart it. I did some research and realized that I'm not a computer guy :) So I needed to find a professional in this area. I found Alhambra computer service on yelp, took my computer there. Personal was very nice and helpful, I picked up my working computer next day and was very happy with the work they have done. Will recommend them to all my family and friends!

Having noise issue with my computer fan and cooling unit. Took my PC to Alhambra Computer Srvc. Ben is friendly and easy going. He took a look and suggested what can be done. He even suggested what I can do by myself. I eventually took my computer home and fixed it according to Ben's suggestion. He didn't charge me for anything. For a business owner recommends self remedy that actually making sales, it shows what kind of guy with good heart he is. I will certainly bring my future PC maintenance work to Ben. He earned my trust.

Ben restored my computer back to it's original state when I ran into some virus/malware problems. I was relieved to get all my data back and my system back to normal. Needless to say, I learned my lesson and Ben was very informative on what programs to use in order to defend against future mishaps. Very professional and very good at keeping me updated on the status of the repair. Thanks again!

I found it a little tricky to find the place since it's a home business but overall enjoy the great service and the awesome computer guy Ben.
I paid about $120 for virus removal & cleaning. No files or info lost. Very professional. -

My iMac hard drive crashed recently, and it contained important files that I hadn't gotten around to backing up. So, I was referred to a data recovery place that would've costed $700 to $1200. Originally, I was going to send my hard drive to the data recovery service, but I didn't want to attempt to remove my hard drive from my iMac. That's when I found out about ACS. I brought my computer in, and Ben Orozco, the guy who founded and runs ACS, was able to not only replace my faulty hard drive with one that has twice as much space, he also recovered all of my photos, mp3s, word documents, and photoshop files. In addition, he gave my computer a free dust clean-up. His price was very, very reasonable and affordable.
Mr. Orozco was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he fixed my problem very quickly. My computer was ready to go in 2 days, and now it's running as good as ever. He was also very pro-active about responding to my e-mails and phone calls. I will definitely go to ACS again for future computer problems. I highly recommend ACS for their great customer service, fast turnaround time, quality worksmanship, and reasonable prices. -

Today, having a good computer technician is as vital as having a good mechanic or doctor. I've found my computer technician at Alhambra Computer Services. My laptop's motherboard was overheating and I had taken it to another computer shop in the neighborhood. They told me if I replaced it, I would lose all my data -- so they tried to repair it - twice and it still was overheating. I then took it to ACS and Ben told me that the motherboard could easily be replaced and that I wouldn't lose any data. He replaced it for less than the other shop had charged me for the unsuccessful "repair."
ACS is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Plus, it was such as pleasure dealing with someone who was honest and not trying to convince me I needed extra services. I plan on using ACS for all my computer needs in the future. Great job!!! -

Ben is a stand up guy. No upselling here, just honest and reliable work for your PC.
Took my CPU to him after repeated crashes for his expert opinion. He updated me every step of the way during the diagnostic process. Didn't find any problems with the CPU and deduced that it may be a problem with the peripherals I'm plugging in.
Will look to him for any future PC repairs. Highly recommended. -

Benjermin is a computer God send. He is a real easy going guy and really really knows his stuff. I went to Best Buy, I now send all my friends and family to Ben. Don't waste time and money he is in my opinion the only Computer guy.

I went to Ben after all these good reviews on yelp. I needed a new power supply and he helped me change it within a two day period and at an affordable price. His work is quick and efficient and I would definitely recommend him to a friend. I also had a recent problem with a spike on my computer. I called Ben and he was happy to offer some advice on fixing it before having me bringing it in. Whenever I have a computer problem, I know I will be going to him.

Ben is an amazing tech support! He will try his best to meet his customer's needs. Got my toshiba's LED cracked so Ben tried to find the replacement from his vendor and fortunately he got wonderful discount! He is so helpful and friendly. I would recommend him to my friends even if they live far away from Alhambra! GREAT JOB, Ben!

I have had a very good experience with ACS. They are fast. Their pricing was reasonable. The best part of ACS is their customer service. I'm not very computer savvy and Mr. Orozco took the time to explain to me what was being done to my computer and let me know what remedies were being used to fix my problems. Worth every penny spent for the peace of mind!
The last time, my laptop died, and he was able to help me fix it--and he didn't charge me since it only took five minutes of his time! Thanks! Will definitely recommend your services! -

Great local place to get your computer fixed. My computer kept shutting down for no reason and I got so frustrated with it. I gave in and saught professional help. I called in to make a appointment to drop it off and I got it back the next day! It works perfectly fine now. I would recommend it to anyone who has a problem with their computer and needs professional help.

03.11.2011 - I never write reviews about anyone, but in this case I felt the need to do it. From my experience, Ben was honest, loyal and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to retrieve my music, pictures, and furthermore, My I-tunes! Try that somewhere else...EXPENSIVE....Ben is a good guy - he gave me the daily updates (which you can't get from the big guys) and before he fixes anything on your computer he'll give you an estimate on cost for approval from the consumer. Reasonable pricing, and Diagnostic is quick - I'll definitely go back! Let's hope not, but if anything happens, I can always count on Ben.

Wow! I called around and his price was the best in the range, came out on a Sunday night. He worked over the hour and only charged me for the one hour. He got my MS Outlook to work in the first time for years, reconfigured Mozilla and got my computer hooked into the color and B&W printers. He was nice, honest and works around your schedule. A very nice guy! He even gave me the hookup on printer ink and refurbishing for great discounts. Wow!

Great service. Very patient and explained what the problem could be. I brought a laptop that I thought had crashed, he did not try to upsell or charge me for services I did not need. I paid $125.00 for the diagnostic and virus removal. I will be taking my other laptop and desktop to him. Took my laptop in on 1/14/11 and had it back on 1/17/11 even though it was a holiday weekend.

ACS computer service, solved my problem. My entire information was gone and I had important files. I was told it would not be able to get recovered at other places. One of my friends found ACS on line on Yahoo and called me to tell me he had found someone who could recover my files I asked him if he was good or if he was BS me, my friend annoyed at me said " He has 50 reviews on yahoo and he is the best in the area" . It was a huge relief, I drove to ACS after hours and I was able to talk to Ben the owner of ACS after his closing hours. That was a sigh of relief, I was able to sleep that night just knowing It might get recovered. I took another Toshiba lap top that did not have a charger and he has the charger waiting for it. I had hit two birds with one stone. Ben was friendly and took care of business. I was impressed mostly by his communication skills with his customers via text or phone calls , he was really working late and keeping me up to date on my computer and its progress. He was able to recover my files and pics and he through cleaned the dust out for free.
This guy has what it takes, I would most deb come back to ACS for any of my computer needs, turns out he can work remotely to fix most of your problems or add or tune up your computer, no need to go to him just pay the fee and he can work on it from his house to your computer remotely at a great price. I think Im going to take him up on this.
Did I mention he was cheap!

I had a problem on July 4th weekend, got my compluter to Ben on Friday, not really expecting anything to get done before the 4th. Ben came through big time, and returned my computer to me on the 4th. Who else is going to work a holiday weekend? And have my computer ready on a Sunday, let alone a holiday Sunday. On top of all that my comp hasnt been this fast since I got it. He picked up my computer from my place, kept me up on what was wrong and what the fix was going to be. Great service, now I have a computer guy I like and trust.
