Love their frozen food. Great way to do an easy dinner without resorting to frozen fraken foods or greasy takeout especially if it's sport season and you're a mom like me. Chicken parm, ravioli, sauce, calzones are all yummy, plus I love the selection.

One negative- the frozen chicken marsala. Don't know if the freezing ruins the sauce or if they do a different sauce then I am used to but not a big fan. Overall the quality of everything is so good that I don't feel the Marsala takes away from the positive experience I have every time I shop here.

Although the place could be bigger and carry more, and I could think of a few ways that this place could be better... it's still a gem of a store stocked with quality Italian foods.

Their Special Cheese Ravioli are among the best I've ever eaten. Overstuffed with a light, beautiful cheese blend. I buy them regularly for my home. The filling is incredible. The regular Cheese Ravioli are pretty standard and boring... it makes me wonder why they make the regular ones at all.

If you want homemade sauce without the labor, their Tomato Sauce, Meat Sauce or other specialty sauces will fit the bill. You can freeze it and thaw it later, or just heat it up at home. It's incredible.

They have a deli complete with Italian meats and cheeses as well as specialty items. Pizza is available a few days each week (I think it's Friday through Sunday but not sure). The pizza is traditional, a little bland and more savory than salty, but it's very traditional Sicilian style so I'm digging it.

They carry gourmet pasta - both imported from Italy and some domestic - as well as a variety of the best gourmet items like tapenade, bruschetta mix, pesto, and candy (a great selection of imported Italian sweets). Fresh cannoli filled on site. Fresh grains and breads are available too in order to augment a delicious Italian feast or aid in a baking recipe.

One significant disappointment. In an attempt to eat smaller portions of great Italian food, I once picked up the frozen kids meal of Cheese Ravioli with Meatballs. I prepared it at home and I thought it was inedible. Strangely, the raviolis they use are neither their normal Cheese Ravioli (square, sheeted ravioli with a little filling) nor the Special Cheese Ravioli (mezza-luna style pillows overstuffed with filling). The sauce tasted bland and the meatballs were underwhelming. My theory is that they make the kids items with different, cheaper products. Sad!

If you need it to make Italian food, it's here. Or if it's not, then it's hard to come by. I highly recommend this spot. I'm lucky enough to live nearby!

I give this place amazing thanks for a very out of the ordinary fulfillment today. A friend and his family lost a loved one today. Coming from a great Italian family, that can cook a meal like no one else, I thought the best way of sending my condolences was with a great prepared meal for their time of need.

I called Alfredo's with this request, and they were extraordinarily kind and helpful with assisting the home delivery immediately. I can not thank them enough.

    This place is AMAZING.

The store is small but not cramped. You can get specialty deli meats fresh sliced, as well as TONS of ready to bake items- chicken parm, ziti with chicken and broccoli, lasagna, ziti with cheese, meatballs and stuffed shells, just to name a few. You can get them in a small (2lb) or large (5lb) tray.

If you're in Quincy (or norwell) STOP BY!! It's totally worth it.

Fresh, yummy, can't...stop...putting...into...basket. Family function, fancy dinner, wine night, whatever, go to Alfredo's retail store.

MEATBALLS!...haha, balls. They're the best. And if you don't use them all, put a few in the microwave and they're a delicious snack slash personal dinner. Aside from their unique selection of everything Italiano groceries, they have a deli counter and some baked goods.

If you walk past their anisette cookies, I call blasphemy on you!

Awesome, authentic Italian food. Perfect for when you don't feel like cooking, and don't want to head out to a restaurant.
Everything we have had there has been dynamite, but my personal recommendations are the pumpkin ravioli, the chicken parm, and some anise cookies for dessert (made by Toni's Own)...Yum!

The sauce is so yummy "ALMOST" the best on the East Coast..  Because..you know who makes the #1 sauce of the east Coast.."ME" of course..  I love Alfredo's it's so clean inside you are almost afraid to touch anything and mess it up.  Everything is so affordable and worth every single penny!!!!!

Disclaimer: I had cheese raviolis from the Canton, MA store, so I can't speak to the other ones, though I assume they're just as great.

Seriously, wars could be fought over these raviolis! Fresh cheese, perfect consistency, pillowy pasta. Heavenly, simply heavenly. Their sauce is also wicked awesome.

These raviolis can stand up to any kind of sauce. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

    Shops cute, Service was rude.

First time I went I walked in at 4:45 and got a yell from the back that they were closing soon. Then a lady walked out and followed me around the store until I left.

Second time I grabbed two mini cannolis which were ok nothing spectacular. They did fill them on order which was neat since you knew they were fresh.

Good food that is already prepared--much better than what you get at most grocery stores.  It is so easy and fast.  Price is good for what you get.

If you like the warm, comforting tastes of fresh pasta with a good red sauce, you can do a lot worse than Aiello's, that's for sure. It isn't exactly gourmet, but it is what it is--delicious Southern Italian dishes to go, including chicken parm, lasagna, ravioli, and lots more.

My main mission was to find a place outside of the North End (parking!) where I could buy authentic Prosciutto di Parma.  Not that domestic shiz that tastes like a chemical plant.  Some supermarkets now carry imported proscuitto, but it usually means it's imported from Canada or some other non-Italian country.  Yuk!  And supermarket deli folk don't know how to slice and package the prosciutto anyway.

So on that one criterion alone, this place is a winner.  It's 19.99 a pound, which is pricey, but it's the real deal and it melts in my mouth.

The rest of the store is kind of austere.  Almost like they don't have enough products to sell.  There are lots of specialty pastas and other items.  I was hoping for produce, but there isn't any to be found here.  Fooooo!

Staff seems mostly like high school kids.  They seem a little awkward socially but are friendly enough.  I agree with another reviewer - this place is SPOTLESS and the deli crew wear their gloves!!!

Need some Italian food that you can buy frozen and take home?  You do?  Did you say you also don't want to spend a lot of cash?  You do not want to spend a lot.  Then go here and enjoy.  Mangia!

Great authentic deli that will make a fantastic Italian sub with fresh cut meats. The frozen meatballs and chicken parm are always a hit at parties. Best rec is their slices of pizza served Thurs, Fri and Sat. Warning, they go pretty fast.
