Review from Talib K.

She ain't much to look at, but she's got it where it counts. I've been playing this course for about ten years now and the fairways still look the same (they suck) and the greens are okay, but there are some challenging holes on this course. It is an old school design in that it makes you shape most of your shots, lots of trees lining the fairways and driver really is not necessary. Signature holes are the par 3 9th and the par 4 17th. Each of these will easily be the most memorable holes because of the distance and the small creek that will probably claim somebody's ball in your foursome. The par 3 9th is 219 yards and requires a well struck club that most rarely hit (e.g., 2 or 3 iron, or fairway wood). The par 4 17th is drivable at 266 yards, but the creek and thick ruff make it a real risk reward hole. So if you go, have low expectations for the condition of the course, but you will surely enjoy the layout.
BTW - they recently replaced the greens, so they are half-way decent.Listed in: SouthWest ATL, Golf in and around the city

Review from Brett W.
Atlanta, GA
From the arrival to the course, I got the feelings of It wasn't going to be what's expected. Poor signage, lack of friendliness from the clubhouse to the starter, and much needed updating. Though it is a cheap price, I feel that I still over paid.
The course itself is in absolutely horrible shape. Cart paths are disintegrating, fairways are more rocks than grass, and the greens have more sand on them than the sand traps.
Given a two star ranking over a one star, because the other guests on the course seemed to really enjoy it, as I heard one group in front of me say they play it every week. As a first timer and new to Atlanta, I will not be playing here and will continue to look for a local course I enjoy.
