Review from Philip W.
Kingman, AZ
I came here for lunch, and it was a little difficult to find because they don't have a sign facing the street. In fact, it looks like there used to be a sign, but it has since been torn off. At first, I thought it was closed down.
I ordered the #13, taco and chile relleno. The chile relleno was bland and mushy. The taco was crispy and had a decent beef flavor. The meal also came with rice and refried beans which had a standard fast food flavor.
Overall, the place ranks Between fast food and dine-in. The taco was ok, but stay away from the chile relleno. I question whether I'll come back because there are better places for Mexican cuisine in Kingman. -

Good food. Cramped seating area. Questionable cleanliness factor.
Their window paints claim that they're 24 hour, but that's completely not true, not even on the weekends. I can't tell you how many times I've driven past this place at 1am on a Saturday and seen all the lights off.
If you can't handle greasy Mexican food, stay away from Alfonso's. -

I was up in Kingman recently and noticed the 24-Hour sign, with not very many 24-hour restaurants in Kingman. I decided this would be a quick and easy stop, I stopped by on Thursday-Saturday each at various times of the night and this place is not 24-hour. False advertising does not bode well with me.

I had the yummy chicken burrito and the guacamole on the side. I would rate the establishment a four star in terms of food quality...but it deserves an extra star because wifi drifts over from the restaurant across the street. Definitely the place to stop for refuel during the haul between Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Thank goodness I met a friend when I moved to Kingman that insisted on taking me here. You get a quesadilla that is bigger than a normal burrito. They have every kind of dirty delicious mexican food that you can possibly want. I seriously have cravings for Alfonso's and consider the 5 hour drive. I need to stop writing about it because I'm wanting some right now.

I got some tasty greasy food on a Sunday night! For ambiance: The cook's CD player with Mexican polka started skipping, that was kinda annoying. The dining room needs some paint touch-ups, and hopefully the smell of simple green cleaner doesn't upset your appetite, cuz the portions are very large!

Gracias a Dios. This building was a rotating door of bad restaurants until sweet Alfonso planted there. All of my memories for at least eight years are positive. My only complaint is that they don't have beer because then all my needs would be satisfied.

Great if you're flyin' by and need gas at the Stockton Hill offramp and a quick taco.

Atmosphere not too clean. Stryofoam plates. Food standard fast greasy Mexican.
