Alex was wonderful to work with when we re-sealed our hardwood floors. We called him for an estimate, and his pricing was very reasonable. He was extremely knowledgeable about the floors and took the time to educate us on our options. Alex also accommodated us on short notice. He was really professional and did a wonderful job with our floors. They look brand new!! I'd definitely call Alex again!

Alex is wonderful to work with! Our new floors look AMAZING!!! From the very beginning, he was very personable, professional and his prices were the most reasonable. On site, he and his partner are incredibly meticulous. They spend a lot of time prepping the area to make sure the end results are the best they can be. I really appreciated Alex explaining why certain things needed to be done so that I understood the process and why I would be charged for certain things. In addition, they are incredibly neat, punctual and he even finished ahead of schedule.
Alex recommended some fixes throughout (thresholds, etc), not to raise the price, but to really improve the condition of our second floor. The end result is incredible. Our floors went from dull scratched up hardwoods that were under old carpeting to gleaming, beautiful floors that look brand new. The stain is perfectly applied and looks beautiful.
There is no doubt that if we ever need any work done on our floors in the future that we would go back to Alex. If you want to see your floors undergo a complete transformation at a reasonable price -- you'll want to too. -

These guys are phenomenol! We needed them to match a downstairs floor stain with our upstairs floor and Alex helped us do it perfectly! Alex is extremely professional, articulate, and hardworking. It was a real pleasure working with him and his team. His pricing is fair and does a really beautiful job.

Alexandru and his employee were great! I called for an estimate in the morning and he came out in the early afternoon and was very thorough and helpful in explaining my options. I needed some hardwood floors refinished in a rental property of mine, and he did a great job. He was reasonably priced and was able to finish the entire job the following day. The floors had suffered 15 years of wear and tear with many scratches. After his work, the floors look brand new! I would recommend him for hardwood flooring because of his competitive price and because he was so thorough. I will definitely use him in the future for my other rental properties!

My husband and I bought a 100-year-old house over the summer. We didn't have a ton of money to invest in fix-ups, but knew that ripping out carpeting and refinishing the original hardwood floors underneath was a big priority... and we had to get that job done in the 2 weeks between when we closed on the house and when our lease was up.
Alex and his crew were AWESOME. The day after I made the initial phone call to inquire about an estimate, Alex came to the house. His estimate was competitive, AND he was able to start work on it in 2 days. They arrived on time (early, in fact) each day for work, worked late in the evenings in order to get the job done within the time frame we needed, and did incredible work. The floors were in pretty rough shape--big chunks of plywood used to replace damaged boards, tons of paint splotches and pet pee spots and stuff... and now, they look absolutely amazing.
Alex is such a nice guy and an incredibly hard worker, and we highly recommend him. -

I had several spots on my floors that needed repair. Water stains, cracked boards, you name it. I called two different flooring repairmen and Alexandru had a much better price, so I decided to give them a try. They started the next morning after my initial estimate visit. They warned me that since they were replacing some boards, those boards might appear a little lighter color. Well if those areas were not taped off (to dry), I would not know what boards were replaced. Very happy with their workmanship and pricing. Definitely use them again.

We needed some floor laid, some refinished and some buffed. We needed it done quickly. Marius came by with a day's notice and gave us an estimate and started a few days later. He did a great job. Very clean. Very nice man, honest. I'd recommend him to anyone.

After closing on my condo, I needed my floors redone (water damage/wear and tear) quickly so I could move in. Alex was quick to respond to my phone call about an estimate, was able to come out the day I closed to see the floors and even was able to get them done within a week! Pricing was very reasonable. The entire crew was so nice. And the floors turned out amazing. He even replaced a board that they had to cut down to fit and you can't even tell it is different. This company is very professional, courteous, efficient and they know floors!

We called Alex in a bind after a construction project had begun on our condo and our hardwood floor guys appeared to have skipped the country. Knowing the urgency of our situation, he made himself available within 2 hours of our phone call to meet with us and discuss what we needed done. We hired him on the spot, after reading wonderful reviews about him all over the internet...And it was an amazing decision. Alex took up the hardwood in one of our rooms and replaced it beautifully, matched our custom floor stain throughout our condo and the new hardwood looks completely seamless and like it has been here all along. They were courteous, incredibly professional, quick, clean and competitive with their pricing. 5 stars, A+++, wonderful!

We had Alexandru Hardwood Flooring refinish the floors in our new condo and we are thrilled with how they turned out. Alex was very accomodating and willing to work around our hectic schedules and he even came to the condo the day after I called him to give us an estimate. To help us decide on a stain color, Alex put 6 different samples on our floor so we could see exactly how it would turn out. Our floors were done quickly and beautifully, and at a very reasonable price. They also used a dustless method of sanding! Thank you Alex- we love our new floors!

These guys did a great job for a great price. I was very happy with their work. Also, Alex was so nice and courteous! He made sure that we understood the price breakdown exactly, and even offered for us to come by half way through the job to make sure we were happy with the work. Also, he really scored points when he was nice to our 2 cats :)
