Wow some of these reviews are a tad on the racist side. Anyway, as a lifelong Rego Parker I can say this is the best pizza in the hood. The owner, Nick, used to work at and was trained by the original owner/staff back when they used to be on 63rd Dr. The pasta dishes like baked ziti are great and Nick is super friendly. It's a true neighborhood joint.

I rarely eat in. Usually only have things delivered. Sometimes delivery can be really slow and you get a really young delivery guy, they tend to not be careful about your pizza cheese sliding to one side. But overall happy this place is in the neighborhood.

The first time I ordered from here, they had a summer special for a personal pizza, wings, and a soda for $8.  What a deal!  And it tasted terrific.  I'd ordered through GrubHub on my phone, and they had to call me to tell me they were out of mozzerella sticks.  I was fine with that; I only ordered them to meet the $10 delivery minimum, anyway.

The second time I placed an order, I got a call saying business was slow and they'd closed early.  I was disappointed, but not too upset.

The food is great, and the staff is very friendly and laid-back.  Alexandria's loses one star from me because they always seem to be missing one thing or another, and also because the person on the phone is difficult to understand, but I will keep ordering from them, because YUM!

Every single time I've ordered from them there's been some sort of problem.  Great food but not worth the hassle.

Oh the pizza gods have heard my prayers!  The space once occupied by Mangia Bene (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) has been taken over and now great pizza lives at Alexandria's Pizza!  The pizza is thinnnnn!   Thinner than your typical NY slice, but in that style---just a little thicker than brick oven pizza (Nick's, Vic's, Federici's, Vezzo, Patsy's, Grimaldi's).  I was fortunate enough to get some slices from a fresh pie---ask if they have one available and I'm sure the guys will serve it up for ya!

This is a small pizza "parlor" and since they've just taken over Mangia Bene, it's the same inside...but it really doesn't matter cause it's the food that counts!  They serve your standard Italian fare: pastas, chicken parm, not to mention wings!  They also have specials which you can find on their menu for take out and delivery.  They have Coke products as well as Snapple and beer.

They also have great deals!  A large pie, big baked ziti, half a roll of bread, 5 garlic knots, and a 2 liter of soda for $24!  And unlike Domino's, this is realllllll Italian food!

What I wore to Alexandria's: Skinny jeans, motorcycle boots, hoodie and t-shirt

Open til 10 pm Sun--Thurs and til 11 Fri & Sat.

Great owner and pizza maker.  Typical NYC pizza but very tasty nonetheless.  My gauge for a good pizza joint is the sausage roll or eppie roll...Alexandria's comes very close to being one of the best.  They don't make it ahead of time so its always made to order.

The buffalo chicken pizza is pretty awesome when u get tired of traditional toppings and want a little zing on your pie.

To grab a quick bite of pizza, this place is not bad. Very small interior, holds about 10 ppl. Friendly employees.

i ordered the special 20$ for a large pizza , 2L soda plus 10 wings.  i asked for the buffalo pizza but what arrived was a plain pizza, soda and wings.  the delivery boy, when i pointed out i ordered the buffalo pizza, stammered" oh um we um are out of buffalo today."

first of all, they could have called to ask me if plain was alright, or to tell me there were "out of buffalo"

second, how can they be "out of buffalo" if there are wings?

so i called back and the dumb, me no speaking english spanish guy picks up and i told him the problem.  his reaction?  ohhhh nooo me...i i forgot today you know so busy is ok you taking plain?

erm no i dont want it, its my first time trying this place and i want what i ordered is that okiees?  i told him either forget about the whole order or send me a buffalo.  he told me if i want another one ill have to wait a looong time please just a take the plain.

it came in less than 15 minutes and i am so glad i didnt settle for plain.
the pizza smelled greatttt when it arrived.  it tasted  great too but the chicken was a bit dry.  huge and yummmy i would have given them 4 stars if not for the rude, unapologetic dumb jerk who was taking orders or the lying delivery boy.  the wings, by the way were horrid.  dry, burnt, old yechhh

Loud Hispanic music, average slice, not filthy joint with minimal options (plain, Sicilian, BBQ chicken, Buffalo chicken), and friendly if not distracted service.  Limited soda fridges, about 5 tables, seating capacity of about 14.  I stopped here because I saw a parking spot and I'd never been here before.  I wouldn't extend myself beyond that in effort to come here, personally.  If it was my closest pizza place I would utilize it out of convenience.  No point to go out of my way though.

look, it's simple, if i call for "a pie with no oil, two slices with no cheese, really light cheese on the rest of the pie and extra sauce all over" and you can deliver? then by golly i'm a fan.
