My husband and I visited the Alexandria Nicole Cellars tasting room in Prosser recently.  The wine is very very good and the staff is so friendly and welcoming.  Therron even made up some toast with olive oil for us to have with our wine.  We felt very relaxed and unrushed during our time there and were really able to enjoy the tasting.  We were headed to Walla Walla the next day and they took the time to recommend tasting rooms, hotels, and restaurants, they even offered to call for us to get reservations.  I would recommend this tasting room to anyone going to Prosser.  We also plan to check out their Woodinville tasting room soon.

My life is divided into two stages: summertime and the rest.

It is the best time to be outside on the deck, looking at the lake through a glass of Grenache or Primitivo or Marsanne ...

What a great wine,it is so great that El Gaucho ordered specialty house wine to be provided by this company!

I joined the wine club and had been receiving perfect blend of reds and whites throughout last three years.

Fun tasting events, nice decor, convenient wine pick up from the Woodinville location.

They rent out part of the tasting room for meetings and parties, totally recommend to check it out!

This is  one of my favorite wineries and if you're doing a wine road trip, this the  BEST!

They specialize in bold reds, I had a devasttingly delicious 2006 Sarah that came home with me in great quantites. The space is wonderful, club like and cozy. And if you're lucky, on a busy weekend they will have a  local chef preparing food on the BBQ.

TIP: If you love the wine, but don't want to drive 200 miles for Eastern Washington ambiance, they also have a shop in Wooodinville.

Alexandria Nicole is hands down my favorite winery. The wines are delicious and the people are awesome.

Last time in, I got to taste the Destiny Reserve '06-- an amazing blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The time before that they had a delicious (crab? it was a while ago) pizza with the tasting.

I ended up getting some Destiny Reserve shipped to me in Chicago by a family member--Tasting room staffer Kristine remembered our visit and included a card with a personal note to me and a free wine journal to track wine notes.

Of all of the Prosser area wineries we visited, this one is head and shoulders above the rest.

Three of us, my nephew, my daughter and I showed up at Alexandra Nicole for our last tasting of the day. We had also been out the day before at slightly further west (most westerly exit on the freeway). Of all the wineries we visited during the past two days, this one deserves our five stars. Warning: we do have biases: we insist on being able to taste the fruit, and we value a long finish. Some people prefer a silty, darker, leather mouth feel for red wines, but not us. If you don't like bright, unspoiled fruit flavors, don't come here.

Although we did not "like" all of the wines from the standpoint of purchasing, all of them were fine and well-constructed. There was not a dud in the bunch of either the standard pour or the reserve pour. (One of our threesome purchased a reserve tasting.)

Although the pure varietals are excellent, the blends show the true work of the winemaker. The blends are arguably better than the varietals because they are a bit more interesting, and the red blends are sensational.

Of all of the wines, my least favorite was their second label A2. Wines from their first label are well priced and high quality. That is not to say they are cheap because they are not.

If you have time to visit only one Prosser tasting room, this is the one.

What a fabulous winery!  A mix of all good things - the people are super nice, the wine is sooo good, and the tasting room has a nice ambiance.
