The Big M in Alex. Bay doesn't have the variety of stores in cities, but then it serves a very small population. I find the employees are always friendly and helpful and seem to go out of their way to make sure their customers needs are met. The prices are comperable or only slightly higher than those in the bigger stores in Watertown (30 miles away), but with the gas prices being what they are, it is not worth it to drive to Watertown to save a few dollars. All in all for the small size of Alexandria Bay, the store is very well stocked.

For what it was it was ok. The store itself was too small and not very clean. It looked more like a glorified gas station. But it gets by for having a liquor store attached and for having dock behind for boating convenience. Still, the store workers could have been a little more friendly/helpful but maybe that is just a Northern thing. Whatever, its not like the variety abounds so it'll do.
