I just finished eating a prime New York Strip I bought from Alexander's an hour ago and I am speechless. I have lived in Arcadia for 5 years and I just discovered this gem of a shop from an LA Weekly article . I hang my head in shame but Alexander's Prime Meat will be glad to know that they have a customer for life. I look forward to many, many fine meals with meats procured from this place. Hurrray!
I went to Alexander's meat on Saturday I bought a porter house and 2 Rib eye steaks. I seasoned them with Kosher salt, Cumin, Fresh ground black pepper and put them on the grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium rare, the steaks came out so good and tender it was amazing way to eat on Valentines day.. paired it with a nice Red win. Real good meat at Alexander's meat.. pricey but well worth it.
It's all about the swordfish kabobs here. I wish I knew what they marinated them with. Also, any prime rib you pick up here will be better than anything you've ever eaten. Check them out soon. My dad was a regular and the guys behind the counter are part of that reason. It's like stepping into Sam's butcher shop with Alice and getting the best cuts. Of course, the only way Alice got them is for schtooping the butcher. Not the case here. They really want to sell the best product possible.
