    Mixed feelings, but good overall.
CONSTRUCTION: My unit doesn't have any of the construction problems mentioned by the previous user; granite counters in the kitchen & bathrooms, new appliances, sturdy 'hardwood' floors. My only complaint regarding construction would be that the walls are a little thin, but not so much that its an issue. Can't hear whats going on next door or anything.
MANAGEMENT: Definitely friendly and helpful as much as they can be. Not sure about the overall manager though... She stays in her back office and runs a pretty strict operation; no deal-making/negotiating anything with her. Mike and the front desk girl (the people you actually talk to) have been very helpful and accommodating though, at least as best they're allowed to.
COST/VALUE: The cost is a little high for the location (Good for Littleton, but hey, its Littleton); but they really do squeeze every dime out of you. $20/mo for fake hardwood floors. $30/mo for a mountain view with a highway onramp in the foreground. But the kicker really comes if you need to break your lease... Warning: Don't even consider this place if you're not 100% sure you can finish out your lease. Most places make you pay like 1.5 months rent to break a lease; with Alexan, you might as well pay for the empty space instead of pay the fee (think $4-5K).
PARKING: Never an issue to find a spot. They have garages available for over $100/mo, but other than that, no covered parking available. Pretty lenient with visitor parking.
NEARBY: Light-rail isn't "a stone's throw away" like the website says (unless you're Drew Brees), but it is under a mile down Rio Grande with a free parking lot so still convenient. Otherwise, tons of restaurants and stores nearby (24 Hour Fitness, Home Depot, Costco, Target, Lowes, King Soopers).
OVERALL: Not a bad gig if you can commit to the whole lease and can't find something closer to downtown in your price range.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! I moved into this place in March and I am regretting it. Lets start with ownership. I received a referral check for talking a buddy into moving there. The check took 2 weeks longer than they promised and to to top it off, the check bounced when I deposited it! So I talk to the very un-professional and stuck up manager named Sabrina and she explains that the ownership is going bankrupt! Awesome!. She told me she has no idea when my check would be taken care of and acted like she could care less that it bounced. This place has gone through 3 managers since my 6 months here. The only one that knows what is going on is Mike and he should be managing. Sabrina has this "high and mighty" complex where she thinks everyone is below her....which is a joke! Lets move on to parking and trash. I pay 20 dollars a month for trash service that isnt picked up half of the time and we HAVE to pay for it. Now on to parking. They have ZERO control over parking here. If you are not in the lot by 6 PM, you are parking on the street or a few blocks down from your apartment. They hired some joke security and issued parking passes, but only enforced it for a couple of weeks. I am paying $1000 a month for an apartment (which is nice) that is run by the worst management company in the world. I hope when the new ownership takes over, they hire a new management company and fire the entire office (except for Mike) Because this place is not worth the money!!
