I've been fortunate to have Dr.Alex as an implant specialist/general dentist. Not only did he adjusted my biting structure but also replaced two of my front veneers. If you need a night guard, I highly recommend you get it here because it's very unique and it comes with top and bottom fittings.
He is very meticulous and take his time executing his techniques. There is a consultation where he'll explains in details and answers any questions you may have. I trust him completely.
His staffs are very nice and professional as well. There are plenty of parking in the back. -

Dr. Alex Nguyen is the "best in the west." I drive up from Gilroy because I trust this dentist completely for the dental care for our entire family. Dr. Nguyen and his staff are excellent, gentle and careful and my children are looking forward to their visits. He has been taking care of them for years. Dr. Nguyen pays attention to detail, is precise and gentle in his work.
I can't speak more highly of Dr. Alex Nguyen. -

I've been lucky as I've moved around the US where I've had good luck picking good dentists. Dr Nguyen, and his staff, are the best I've seen. I've had to have a number of 30-40 year old fillings replaced. Over several visits, I have yet to experience much pain or discomfort. He is great at explaining what needs to be done. The office is like a spa--very relaxing atmosphere. The receptionist, Stacy, is highly organized and manages the insurance and billings without any issues. My wife and 2 young daughters have had similar experiences. Once downside is that they are very busy and generally need to schedule non-urgent treatment well out into the future. They are great about working patients in for more urgent issues where tooth pain is involved.

I have been coming to Dr. Alex Nguyen and his wife Dr. Thuy-Anh Nguyen for as long as I can remember. They used to have an office in San Jose, but moved to Saratoga about 5 years ago? In any case, I've probably been seeing them for over 10 years!
Their Saratoga office is very nice with massage chair, tea, you name it! Their staff is also very friendly and accommodating. When I visit their office, I usually see Dr. Alex Nguyen and he always does a thorough cleaning. I'm always a bit embarrassed since I know my teeth are full of plaque. After the cleaning, my teeth feel extremely clean and spotless.
I would recommend both Doctors Alex and Thuy-Anh Nguyen to anyone. They're both knowledgeable and wonderful dentists. And their office is amazing! Did I mention that they play soft music at the office? I'm always afraid I'll fall asleep! -

Dr. Alex Nguyen is an award winning dentist.
Right when you walk in, you will notice that this isn't your typical dental office. This place looks more like an upscale spa with an Asian theme. The office is fitted with the latest dentistry equipment. Your teeth is displayed on an LCD monitor, and the dental chairs have built-in massagers - even the waiting room in the back of the office has a massage chair. Each room is equipped with a Nakamichi stereo to calm any nerves that you might have.
I have made numerous trips in the past few years and everything was perfect and painless. He's always on schedule, so there is virtually no waiting period. He does a thorough job and doesn't try to rush you out. His wife will occasionally work on his patients. The staff is very friendly.
I referred my family and friends to Dr. Alex and everyone had nothing but good things to say. -

Yelp does it again! I have to say that I love this site. However they block most of my darn reviews!!! So make sure you look at all reviews because some of them are real - there is a filtered link at the bottom of the reviews for the business you are researching.
Alex was able to get me in the same day and fix my veneer in record time. It looks and feels great and (fingers crossed) has not fallen off.
He spent a good amount of time giving details to how my mouth and teeth work (bite, grinding, structure, etc). This was educational and interesting to hear. Personally, this does make him a different kind of dentist and one of the most informative I have encountered over the years. However, I already trusted him based on his reviews and knew my teeth were not perfect (this is why my tooth had a veneer in the first place - grinding complications).
If you look at my reviews, I was haunted by a bad dentist and needed someone with expertise in veneers. Repairing teeth not only takes technical skill but an artistic sense as well. I have to say that Alex's awards and reviews prove his ability to handle the task of fixing teeth. You need a meticulous artist to fix teeth; you simply need a dentist to fill cavities. Just make sure you trust them.
I have had the same veneer replaced 5 times with little luck. So I know what it takes to set and glue the veneer. Alex was not only able to set it on the first try but did not need to grind or polish the bonding material much. This is impressive as I have spent hours under the blue heat gun and polishing tool. I am pleased with the feel of the tooth and trust me the bonding agent used on the back can be the biggest annoyance (to the inside of your mouth) if not smooth and even.

Dr. Alex is awesome! I've been going to him for about 4 years. My boyfriend actually recommended him to me at the time when I was looking for a new dentist.
He does the cleanings himself and is always very gentle. I haven't had a cavity in years and it's a nice feeling. He's so friendly and always ask how I'm doing and we always talk about each other's latest vacation plans.
I love the layout of his office. When you first walk in, I feel like I'm walking into a cute salon or a spa. While I get my teeth cleaned, the room has nice relaxing music. Sometimes while I'm waiting for Dr. Alex, his staff will turn on the massage chair and I have a nice massage while I wait.
His staff is really friendly. I usually deal with Stacy and she's super nice.

Dr. Alex is an awesome dentist! He treats his patients with a very high
level of respect and is always very friendly/conversational. He does the cleanings himself, is very gentle and is concerned about patient comfort. Had a filling today and it was completely pain-free. Dr. Alex was very concerned about my comfort level, was very accommodating...agreeing to go a bit beyond schedule to complete the work even though I only had a cleaning scheduled. He also made absolutely certain that I was satisfied with the work before I left the office. He also is always a very good listener when it comes to concerns regarding dental procedures.
Also, besides having found the perfect dentist, the office is gorgeous! Very modern and always smells really good and plant-like..sort of like an Aveda salon.
Anyone who asks for a dentist recommendation I'll be sure to refer them here. Keep up the good work, Dr. Alex! Very impressed and will definitely keep coming here despite living in SF. -

I have been a client of Dr. Alex for more than ten years now. I love his service as well as his staffs. They do a wonderful job to make their clients happy. I talked my husband to switch his dental care and he did. Now he is very happy that he did. My sister's family did the same thing. Dr. Alex is also so gentle with kids. My daughter and my nieces are not afraid of him at all.
Dr. Alex does an excellent job in details and care. If you are looking for a dentist and not sure where to go, I would strong recommend Dr. Alex to you. My family and my sister's family are his clients for a long time even though we leave about 30-35 minutes away from his office. What make us stay that long? It's his tender care and his wonderful staffs (Stacey and Amanda .... Thumbs up for these ladies )
