After a trip to Nicaragua I had two boards in need of serious repairs - one on the rail and one on the bottom of the deck. I was very pleased with service, price, and quality of repair on both boards. Another 5 star review.

Did an awesome job. After an unfortunate fall while climbing up HMB jetty. My surfboard suffered a few dings. Alex came highly recommended. Starting from the beginning it was easy to schedule an appointment for drop off and one week later my board is in great shape again. Thank you Sarah and Alex.

Alex did a great job on my board last year. After falling on top of the nose and breaking it off (OUCH!), he was able to fix it cleanly and within a reasonable amount of time.
If you got some dings on your board, definitely check out Alex. -

I got Alex's name & contact info off of Craigslist from other surfers who had gone to him for affordable & quick ding repair.
As a n00bie surfer, I was still treated respectfully by Alex who took the time to explain what needed fixing and how he was going to fix it. He quoted a price that was a ton cheaper than the big shops, and his turnover was going to be quick (less than a week).
When I came back to pick up my longboard, he'd also filled in some additional small dings that were previously unspotted, and did so without raising the price. Since then I've recommended him to others on the scene - I hope he keeps it up for a while! -

I highly recommend Alex for surfboard repair. I've had him fix three different boards over the last couple years and all of his jobs have been flawless.
He repaired a bad rail ding on an epoxy board, and two dings on the tail and nose of a polyurethane boards. All were perfect fixes. I've seen him fix boards split in half and box fins that were ripped out.
His prices are fair and you can usually expect your board by two weeks time. -

He's very conscientious and makes the extra effort to work with you to get your board back in the water as soon as possible. Plus he rips out there!! -

I found Alex through a web search and decided to employ his services based on user reviews on Yelp.
His quote was reasonable and he even did extra repairs to various parts of the board he deemed necessary at no extra cost.
Plus, it's always good to do business with a nice guy who loves his sport. -

Just had another repair done by alex, this time a ding to the nose. Again, Alex and Sarah turned the repair around in 1 week and did a perfect job!! Will never go anywhere else, these guys are great!

I had a big chunk missing from the nose of my longboard. Alex repaired it so well that you can't tell it was even there. The price was very fair and he completed the job a day earlier than he proposed. Easy 5 stars for Alex Martin!

hands down, one of the best surfers at o.b., alex does the best ding repair around here. and no matter who you are, dings happen. his repairs are seamless and prices are cheap for the work you get. in my eyes, he's the only ding repair guy here. professional and recommended.

Alex is the man to go to for thoses difficult (or easy- depending on your comfort at fixing your own boards) ding repair. He did a fantastic job on a prize longboard with a difficult color scheme. He seems really busy, so have some patience.

You can't say anything bad about him. He's does good work, quality work. He understands how to fix a board that has seriously been damaged. He's honest, fair and charges the right rate.
