Well you can already tell I'm a fan of Aleda's, but we never would have realized how much fun it was to have them cater the rehearsal dinner we had at Times Ten Cellars.

They were fantastic! They brought over the pizza, their warming tray, and some of their great garlic bread, with appropriate seasonings. And was it good as ever! Everyone who hadn't already tried Aleda's was blown away. Everyone also congratulated us on our choice of caterers. See how smart we are!

Unfortunately we forgot how filling their pizzas are and we have lots of leftovers. But be assured we gave some to the Times Ten people, (who were very pleased) and the rest are safely put away in our ice boxes waiting for tomorrow.

I will also share something we found out long ago. Unlike most pizza chain pizzas, Aleda's is still great warmed up the next day. However, DO NOT USE A MICROWAVE  It's much better if you heat it up in an oven! I kid you not.

So this is it in a nutshell:

Their pizza is great to eat at their restaurant, at home, out of the icebox or in our case, delivered to your party, ----- and by the owner, no less.

    Now that's customer service!!!

We do take out from here quite regularly with a local mailer coupon....one large signature pizza, one small cheese pizza free...feeds 4 with a little bit of left over for well under $20 so happy with that...

Aleda does half-half pizzas if you like, so we usually do a Meat Lovers and a Veggie, that way both types are satisfied.

    Good lunch deal as well.

After reading ALL these awesome reviews, I am not convinced.  I decided to eat there with a friend and we sat ourselves.  Not knowing what was going on, a waiter comes up finally and says, "What food do you want to eat?"...Really????? He seemed high, or at least he could have been fake with more enthusiasm.  No menus were given at first, no drink orders, and the restaurant was a wreck, busting the tables by yourself or not, the restaurant is not big enough to keep a restaurant that dirty.

Food:  We ate the buffet since we did not get the menus.  There was one pizza with about 3 slices at the bar.  We waited about 5 minutes before the next round.  5 minutes is a long time when you are hungry.  The pizza was on the same par as CiCi's.  No clue why this place is "so good."  It is just another overrated pizza place in Southlake with overpriced paintings on the wall for sell from an amateur artist that did not finish their degree.  You are better off at Cici's for buffet or iFratelli's right down the road.

I cannot stress enough on my experience.  Even the customers around us seemed unsatisfied.

Ended up here after finding Fat Daddy's next door had closed. Review is based on a Thursday lunch time. They have a buffet but seeing as the place was completely dead we didn't trust the freshness. I ordered the 7" Pizza. It was OK and nothing special. Probably wouldn't make a special trip to eat here.

My wife and I have been here twice.  The first time, I thought it was the best pizza I've had since I moved down here from Ohio.  My wife hated it.  But since I'm the writing the review, it gets 5 stars.  This place has a pretty big menu for a pizza place. They definitely have a very interesting variety of pizzas while still having your traditional types as well.  The pizza we ordered was the buffalo chicken pizza.  The crust is a little thicker than a New York style pizza, but it's very crispy and flakey.  Just the way I like it.  My wife said she didn't like how rich it was.  There was definitely a load of toppings.  I would recommend getting a  size smaller than you usually get if you get one of the specialty pizzas.  They are loaded with toppings.  We ordered a large and both only ate 3 pieces between the two of us.

The second time we went, we order the veggie pizza.  Just as good but not near as rich in flavor.  I definitely liked the first better, but my wife liked the second a lot better.  I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.  Great pizza and great service.

So our first "pie" destination was not open for lunch, and since we spied this place on the way to Grapevine, we decided to check it out on the way back.

Service started out slow, but corrected itself after a bit (our server was very cheerful, friendly and helpful). There's a great looking menu of specialty pizzas, as well as a personal pizza lunch special ($5.99 - not sure if that's daily) any toppings plus a drink, as well as a pizza buffet ($6.99 I think). But even after oogling all the specialties, Thuy and I went for boring old cheese (our favorite). I was happy that I could also have a Shiner with my pizza, and $2.75 for a big frosty mug seemed an OK deal.

After a few bites of our pizza Thuy and I kept asking each other, "Why does this taste so familiar?" Well it took a few more bites before we came to same conclusion: It tastes like a really good homemade pizza. The crust has that kinda thick, kinda chewy texture, that homemade pizzas seem to have, especially when you don't have a stone to cook them on. This is not a bad thing, it just made me wonder how the pizza was cooked, as it could have been a tad bit crispier.

Bottom line, decent place and if you like to eat pizza, that (lunch) buffet seems the way to go.

Pretty standard location, space, and atmosphere for a pizza joint. However, the PRODUCT and SERVICE  are what puts it over the top.

Besides Coal Vines and Campania in town square, there aren't many solid pizza spots in Southlake. This place presents a more laid back atmosphere, and has better pizza then both.

The crust is a unique thin crust that combines nicely with the cheese. The supreme pizza was chock full of fresh ingredients. Some creative options on the menu as well that I'll be sampling in the future. Service was great from a cute college girl. Aleda's meets a demand for a laid back specialty pizza joint in Southlake, and delivers.

Just terrible pizza.  I for the life of me cannot understand why this place stays in business.  The pizza tastes like cardboard...ick.  You are much better off at Joe's in Southlake...Fabulous NY style pizza.

A-ok is what I say!  I liked the pizza but to be fair, have to say it's pretty average!  The prices are great and the service was very good too! I will be back to give it another whirl!

Best pizza in Southlake.  Fresh, quality ingredients are evident.  Not the cheapest pizza around but well worth paying the extra.  Wings are good too!  Keep up the good work!

Had dinner there on Friday 1/7/11.  The place was not completely full but we waited over 30 minutes for our food to be delivered.  The task of the pizza was bland and mine (Margarita) was dripping in oil.  Server was extremely kind and pleasant, we were just never revisited once the food was served until she brought our check.  No drink refills, no how is it, nothing.  I do like the options they provide for crust (Whole Wheat or Gluten Free) but for the price, the flavor was not good.

We had dinner here last Friday with friends. Pizza was very good (mahrgarita on whole wheat crust). The service was attentive, however, it was sadly apparent that training was lacking. Waited nearly an hour for our meal. Lots of action with little results. We'll return sometime in the future when they get the kinks ironed out.

Aleda's is the BEST pizza place we have ever been to hands down. Our first visit was during the week around closing time to order take out. My husband thought they were closed, but tried the door and it was open. My husband asked the guy inside if they were closing and he said, "yes, but if you want a pizza I'll stay open and make you whatever you want!" The pizza was AWESOME!  Their crust does NOT get soggy! Finally!!! And they pile on the toppings for you.  Our second visit was with two toddlers (1 & 3). I was SO worried about bringing out little ones out to eat, but the server brought our kids dough to play with while we waited for the pizza and we had a great time!  The server suggested the Baked Potato Pizza (which I thought I would never like) and our entire family...including the kids LOVED IT!  The wait for our food was not long at all (which is a Big concern of ours having little impatient kids).
They have Turkey pepperoni, Whole wheat crust!  Everything is amazing! Not greasy at all.   It's a nice family atmosphere and they will be seeing us a lot! OH last but not least......Save room for the Cookie Pizza Desserts!!!!!  The most amazing dessert EVER!!! They have three choices and we have tried them all....you will not be disappointed! Thanks Aledas!  Fantastic Customer Service!!!!
So glad you decided to make Southlake your home!

The employees at Aleda's Pizza are so nice!!  Their customer service surpasses any restaurant I've been to in a long time.  Their pizza is AWESOME!  It has TONS of toppings.  It's so heavy! They have great weekly specials; our favorite is the Tuesday Night Special which is $20.  It includes a large pizza, appetizer, and 4 drinks.  Incredible!  Their pizza must weigh 5 pounds!!!!  Love it!  So glad you're in Southlake!!!

I would give this place zero stars if I could.  Service was terrible, food was worse.  Ordered the baked potato pizza and the bbq chicken pizza--both were inedible.  i am shocked at all the great reviews for this place, and am convinced they must be fake.  Their crust taste like cardboard. Their ingredients are low quality and not fresh.  Save your money and go to fireside pies in grapevine or coalvines.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with those who have given this a five star rating.  I do enjoy my pizza, and we wanted to check out some new locations to get pizza.  Aleda's was highly rated on here, and I read a newspaper article a few months ago. I was really looking forward to having found a new source for pizza.  However, although there were a fair amount of toppings, they were in little bitty pieces - I like to be able to 'taste' each type of topping, a Chunk of sauage, a Slice of pepperoni, etc., not a mixture of small pieces where their taste is all mixed together where you can not discern each favor of the various meats.  But the two most problematic things were that the 'tomato' Sause/topping tasted like simple tomato paste right out of the can.  Then most important, there was Very Little cheese on it! To me, the cheese is critical to a great pizza.  Lack of cheese, and the tomato paste tasting sause took this from a three star down to a one star.  So, even if it had these two critical items correct, my assessment would still not been close to a five star.  I am sorry this is a bad review, but I prefer to be truthful than to automatically follow the crowd of five star review.  I am the first to give a 4 or 5 star rating when it is warranted.  BTW - the 'location' of Aleda's is hard to find if you have not been there before.  It is in a Small shopping area with about five little stores within its parking lot.  It is in Southlake, it is approx. 3 blocks WEST of White Chapel Rd. and Tom Thumb store. It is on the North side of Southlake Blvd.  It is a little bit hidden by trees in its location, and it does not have a big sign where you can easily see the Aleda's sign.  So, if you have not been there before, check your directions carefully before you go.  Oh, BTW - I had the large Supreme pizza..  Almost forgot, I 'might' have given this a two star, verses one, IF it had not been so expensive.  At least twice as much as it should have been - I got their All Meat pizza - $18.95 for a large, not even an extra large. Very expensive...
