We visit Aldo's during Restaurant Week. You know, the week when even the cheap like us get a three course meal for thirty bucks. We had reservations for 8:30 and were seated about 10 minutes later. Used that time to grab some drinks at the bar. My husband had a dry rose that he really liked (was allowed to try first) and I had an amazing apple martini.
Because it was restaurant week, it was a different menu than the usual one so I won't comment on specific dishes. Just know that it's amazing food that's sorta-kinda Italian.
We look forward to returning again sometime soon.

Wow wow wow. Five-star service with food that matches! Our trys: Bagna Cauda Piemontese appetizer, Porcini and Wild Mushroom Risotto and Pan-Fried Veal Tenderloin "Francese" with Lemon Chardonnay Sauce, Wilted Spinach. Our server was so attentive and warm and gave us the creamiest house limoncello. Plus he gave us the tour of the wine cellar, cheese/salami caves and the private dining room.
It was Baltimore City Paper's Best Italian Restaurant for 2006 and no wonder.
