NOTE - Aldo's has apparently changed to La Promessa. I've not been since the name change, so I don't know if it's new management, new restaurant, or what. This review is for Aldo's.
The food is really good, and there is nice selection of things that you won't find in most Italian restaurants. There is so much more here than marinara or alfredo.
I've enjoyed the gnocci with pesto and some of their risottos. They do well with personalizing your selection. If a certain sauce soundsgood, but you want it on a different dish, or without a certain ingredient, they can accomodate. That shows it's fresh.
