When it comes to most fashion and retail stores, I usually prefer one of each brand--it's my quirk. This is, until Aldo. I started with one pair, then a second, and now I own about five pairs, which might be about 20% of my current shoe collection. And I can verify my co-worker and I suggest customers to visit Aldo for shoes which are both casual and business appropriate. It's easy to dress it up or dress it down,
Generally, once I find my size, I can be sure to ask for the same size time-and-again and get the same results. There is a narrowness issue I know my friends with club-feet have complained about, but I certainly don't have narrow feet. Maybe it's the price of fashion, or maybe it's people just trying on the incorrect sizes. I mean, I'm always greeted when I enter Aldo, although the space isn't titanic enough to be hidden away either.
I will say I am pretty coy as a customer, and I'm easily convinced to buy additional things if they suggest it, even if I don't really want it. If you have this issue to, make sure you bring some strong willed friends! A wonderful store with wonderful shoes. -

I couldn't decide between 3 or 4 stars and in my book that makes a big difference.
The service here has gotten tremendously better recently which is why I want to give a high rating.
Even with the store usually being quite busy, there's always someone who makes the effort to offer you help and they're always really cheerful.
What made me go with a 3 stars is the shoes. Yes, they don't have a huge variety and the cuteness of the shoes they do have makes up for it a lot, but a lot of the styles are copied from other more expensive shoe brands, AND you can find that same style for cheaper. I bought black suede bootie wedges from here for 90$ that I later saw Steve Madden made, pretty much the same thing (black suede bootie wedges) for 130$. They're also online at various stores for 30-40$.
For 40$ more than the shoes I bought, I could've got the real thing. Same with a lot of other styles I've seen.
They also don't carry half sizes so I got the size bigger, which actually feels like a size smaller since I've gotten so many blisters from my shoes. My coworkers all told me the Aldo's they have are all uncomfortable too.. (-__-)
I've come in many times and I like to see what they have, but I honestly can't say I'd buy another pair of shoes from them. -

I like walking into this store, and I love their fashionable shoes...but I have yet to actually purchase one. I don't know what it is...but I just don't buy one so I can't really say if it's good or not. I think I even contemplated buying a bag here...not shoes! LoL.
Perhaps it was because all the Japanese tourist end up buying my size so they never have it. Perhaps...

So affordable. Shoes from Aldo never let me down. They're comfy, cute and cheap enough to fit my Ala Moana budget. Right when you think that it can't get any better, they constantly have great sales that make my wallet even happier.

I love Aldo shoes.
They're usually comfy and most often fit true to size.
The shoes are a little on the pricey side, but there's ALWAYS great sales!!

I like buying the sale items from here.
I think the normal priced shoes are a little too much for what the shoe actually is as far as quality and comfort. They have lot of platform style shoes which I love though.
I purchased some sale sandals for $20.
The sales person was so funny. I told her a size 5 but the shoes normally go by European size which is 36. She got confused and thought 36 was US 6. Great help though! -

Aldo, I think I'll give this a 4 star just because they do have really good shoes. It can be a bit pricey but the quality is good. They have tons of designs to choose from and they also re-make designer shoes for an affordable price.

They have some cute shoes. What's not to like about stilettos? But of course, this being Yelp and me being me, I've got to have my say:
1. Why don't they have 1/2 sizes? That is the weirdest thing. I think it's because they want to push those foot pad thingies on you (for extra sales). I don't know how much they cost but they aren't going to make my 6.5 size feet fit into 7.
2. I used to work retail, and it's a hard, demanding business. It's friggin' hard to fold the same darn shirt for the 27th time that HOUR without wanting to use the sleeves to strangle someone. Sure, selling shoes ain't no picnic I'm sure, but WHAT IS UP WITH THE 'TUDE? If I ask you a question (politely), don't give me flippant remarks. I'll take my 4-in. stiletto and hurt you. Real bad.
I like their stuff for what it's worth, but I think I'll stick to scouring Nordstrom Rack or Waikele for now. -

I've always had very good experiences with Aldo Shoes on the mainland, but I was disappointed about my visit to this store in HI.
Yes, I realise that we showed up about 30 minutes after the store opened that day, so the lady working up front must have been very busy with all the daily grind of opening. But sheesh, when your customer has to walk from the back of the store to the front (in bare feet, no less, where you have your nose stuck in a binder) at least 3 times in order to ask you questions about getting a new size, shouldn't you take the clue that they are serious about doing business with you? I've been in the situation of working with irritating and demanding customers (which we weren't), but this lady completely ignored me for a good 15-20 minutes before my husband actually went up and said: "Hey, we are looking to buy some shoes, and we need some help." Oh, and did I mention that I was the only customer in the store?
That being said, since it was the day after New Year's, there were a lot of excellent sales on some very cute heels, boots, and flats. I ended up going with a pair of orange "Spartan-like" Lansing sandals and a pair of buckle + zip-up plaid Bourras boots (that were 50% off- 30$ instead of 60$!). The lady that finally helped us ended up being very friendly when she was ringing us up for my purchases. Turns out that she used to live in Northern California where my husband and I used to live. Small world!
So all in all, sub-par service, but excellent shoes, which is what I came for. I'll stick with an "A-OK" review for this establishment.Listed in: Shop 'til You Drop!

The best shoes ever! Great selection and quality! love it when they have sales! most of the shoes are made in Italy! I love the heels, wedges, boots, and slippers! My husband even loves the shoes here! I'm so glad they came to Hawaii! ahhh...and its right next to my favorite clothing store, Arden B

In love with this place! It's not the typical Aldo, I think it's an outlet....the whole back of the store is like 50% off! I love it here! Plus they have accessories on sale too! O...yea...in the back is a 8ft shelf of all their purses on sale. If you love shoes, and accessories...come here...we don't have one back in the mainland so check it outttttttttttttttttttttttt!
