Aldi is a grocery store that is number one in Germany, where it was founded. It offers a limited selection of items, most of which are "store brands." These brands are good quality at low prices.

They also offer meat, bakery, and produce which have been substantially expanded over the years. Their frozen meat (at least steaks and 85% lean ground beef are better than fresh to me, because refrigerated meat is always slowly decomposing),

As a European company, they have cool items from Europe. A few are permanent, like the German Coffee (regular and mild). They currently have some spectacular Asian sauces (including Curry and Spicy Hot) that are amazing for $1.29 each!!!
