You have to drive awhile to get here, but as soon as you're in the area and see the Country Club....WOW!!! It's an architectural site! Just gorgeous! That alone is worth the drive. :) Actually, it's something to go inside and check it out.
Top notch course. Superb surroundings. Prices are higher than other courses.
This gets a 4 out of 5 stars just for its beauty and relaxation.. -
Review from Joel V.
A cool course, with a "Lake Tahoe feel," but I found myself slightly disappointed after reading up on how great this course was. While it was enjoyable, it just didn't fulfill it's lofty expectations.
Heavily wooded, and several doglegs made the course challenging, but it was pretty short. And the slope was very low (114).
The photos on the website portray this course as one of the best in the state. A few dead patches, and a bad pace keeps this from being five star - but 3.5 stars isn't bad either! A fun course, but not heavenly - like the website and nearby resort hinted at.
