I had a really good burger with mushrooms and cheddar cheese on Saturday afternoon.  The hand cut fries are fantastic.  I sat at the bar and had a couple of Ciscos.  Very nice experience.

As much as I want to like this place I just cannot.  On two different visits in the last four months service was attrocious.   The first visit was a late afternoon lunch on an only moderately busy Saturday.   There were plenty of open tables.  We ordered our appetizers which came within about 15 minutes.  We waited the entire time for the drinks though which was unacceptable.  Moving one we figured things would improve as the appetizers were reasonably good.  Almost an hour later our main dishes arrived.  During that time we were visited by the waitress a total of 2 times.  We waited 20 minutes for a second glass of wine during this period.  The main dish was tasteless but not to terrible.   Absolute zero in terms of service.

We went back two weeks ago on a whim while shopping in the area.  The place was fairly busy with a short wait for a table out front.  We decided to grab a drink at the bar which was busy but with 3-4 people working behind the bar and no more than 2-3 customers in addition to us standing for a drink things seemed okay.  17 minutes later the bartenders had never once looked up.  They were putting glasses away, performing cleaning tasks, doing something with the napkins but at no time did they look to see if anyone was waiting for a drink.  At the 18 minute mark I told the manager to take our name off the list and we were gone.  This place cannot decide what it wants to be.  Fancy place or a place where I have to wave dollar bills in the face of patrons at the bar to get a drink?  Do we need to yell over the backs of people OR will they train their staff to actually look and see if anyone needs anything?

The attitude of the staff we were exposed to both times here left something to be desired.  Perhaps they'll improve in time or perhaps this is indicative of the the way Alden Park will always operate.  Either way we won't go back as we gave this place a shot and apparently our time has no value to them.

I've only been to Alden Park a few times after work and no matter how many times I go, I'm always surprised by how much the bill is. This place is over priced for no reason. They changed up their cocktail menu from the last time I went and the drink I loved (the Ginger Pear) was no longer available. You can order it if you ask the bartender.

Food wise, this place is kinda sub par. For dinner I had the steak tips with garlic mashed and aspergus. I asked that the steak tips be cooked medium but once I cut into them, it was more medium-done. The mashed potatoes could have been creamier and the asperagus were a little over cooked. What a disappointment. My DP had the Mezza Plate and Siracha Wings from the Appetizer menu and it was pretty delicious. The Mezza Plate was consisted of hummus (which was really dry and crusty), babaganoush and some other Middle Eastern dip surrounded by a bed of toasted pita bread. Siracha wings are pretty awesome. It actually tastes like buffalo sauce but it had a little bite to it.

I don't come here too often, but when I do, I'll just stick to apps, 1 overpriced cocktail and a beer to finish off the night.

My friends and I used to dine occasionally at Chroma. I liked it. Unfortunately, they didn't make it. Alden Park has opened in their spot. We have been there 3 times.

First time my chicken was underdone. Pat & I got free dessert.

Second time my steak tips were not steak tips. They were some other cut of meat, tough and slightly fatty. Just cause you cut it into that size & shape doesn't mean it's a steak tip.

Third time I ordered the flat iron steak. Jen had enjoyed this entree both times we had been there. As a matter of fact, the second time, she said she wanted to lick the plate. I start eating it and I think "This is kinda tough". Before I could relay this to Bette & Jen, the bartender came over (points for his service on this and the first visit). He asks how everything. Jen tells him its tough and not sliced the same. He looks at me & I nod my agreement. Then she says the polenta is also disappointing and I laugh because I am also disappointed.

He looks momentarily distressed. Gives Jen a free beer.

    That's it.

The bill for the three of us was $145 before the tip. That's the last money they get out of me.

Jen accused me of getting my bad Alden Park juju on her steak. No one had any sympathy for me. Bette & Jen had wanted to go to our fav - East Bay.

I went to this place with my fiancé during a recent trip to Plymouth, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks are well above average - she started off with the sugar plum martini, me with the orange creamsicle martini. Both drinks were tasty and strong. The food is above average too.  We split an app of scallops wrapped in bacon over fried pineapple - delicious.

For our entrees, we got the wedge salad and the skirt steak. Both were excellent. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked and the risotto that came with it was delicious.

I have to say I was skeptical of this place, mostly due to its location.  However, it is awesome. I highly recommend.

I went there for drink and edded up getting some apps. The cocktails are not as expensive as the apps but the mussels I had were phenominal and there was plenty of them. The bars in plymouth are out of control and noisey. I don't mind heading over here with friends so I can actually hear them talk for a few extra bucks with tasty food.

Been here three times for dinner and twice for lunch.  I have never had bad service and the food is SO good.  There lettuce wraps are amazing and the meat is always prepared perfectly.  For lunch I always get the Cape Cobb Salad and they never skip on the lobster.  I am a big fan.

I must say Colony Place is blossoming into a nice "lifestyle mall" like Derby Street in Hingham. The addition of Alden Park is making shopping there even more pleasant. If you have been to Abby Park in Milton and liked it, then you most likely will like Alden Park. Not only because their names are substantially similar but I believe there is a very close affiliation between the two restaurants. The food (try the truffle sacchetti and the seared sea scallops) and service were both very good.

The restaurant occupies the former Croma Restaurant & Pizzeria space. The interior is hip and modern but still very casual. There were several diners with young children the night we went so I would not hesitate to bring my young daughter here (early dinner, of course). Bar area is also nice and big so it seems like a decent place to grab a drink before dinner.

Snobby, and over priced, humorless and rude bald bartender.  In this economy I'm sure he will be looking for a job soon. Probably wishes he could work at a real classy establishment like 9 Park or Drink. Don't waste your time or money here.

I went to this restaurant  for lunch with my mother and sister. The decor is awesome, the staff was very friendly. Our waiter Tim was so nice and funny he came around enough but didn't hover which is great. I got the Tina melt which was one of the best I've ever had. And great portions! Would highly recommend. Drove from Weymouth to go shopping at the colony place and the stores were horrible. Alden Park was the best experience of the day.

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the bar was full with an older crowd, which was nice to see.  I ordered the steak freits and  my husband got the roasted mussels. The mussels were very good but should have been served with some crusty bread to soak up the wonderful sauce.   The steak was just ok, not the best cut of meat but the fries they came with were delicious.   We will definiely try this place again.  Check out pictures I attached to give you an idea of what the food looks like.

Went for to this restaurant for the first time last night because I had a certificate through http://www.restaurant.com.  The restaurant was decorated very nicely inside for the holidays. The table they sat us at was very small, we ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer to start. We ordered the lobster dip, it was good (but not amazing). They also brought bread/oil. We barely had enough room on the table with all these items. We had to maneuver things around the table just so we would have enough room to eat.
Both myself and my friend ordered the filet mignon, with were priced at $28. When the meal came it looked very nice presentation wise. There was fat on both pieces of our steak. We found that the steak at Longhorn was better than these pieces of filet mignon! The waitress also kept coming by to see if we were done, which left us feeling very rushed. She checked my friend 3 times to see if he was done.
We ended the meal with dessert, we got small treats and all of the 4 we got were very good. I would rate this 3 stars. I believe it was overpriced for the quality of food that was served. The tables are definitely too small and I felt very rushed. If I didn't have the http://restaurant.com certificate I would eat here again as it is too overpriced for the quality of food/service.

Never been disappointed! We've been several times and it's always yummy. The lettuce wraps are out of this world! My husband loved the Cod dinner.  We go at least 2-3 times a month! Love it!

I just tried this restaurant last week for a Friends and Family night.  This is surely going to be Plymouth's next best restaurant.  The decor is calming and airy.  I just wanted to curl up and stay all night in my booth.  My favorite part of my meal was the mussels. The mussels were bathed  in the tastiest broth I have ever had...I was practically lapping it up after we finished all the mussels.  The Truffled Lobster Mac 'N' Cheese and Seafood Fra Diavolo was amazing and the portion size was huge for both.  Save room for dessert because their chocolate cake and Banana Bread Pudding is to die for!

We made a reservation on a Saturday night online. Arrived at the designated time and were asked to wait for a short time at the bar. We ordered a drink, and waited about 5- 10 minutes and were seated. The atmosphere is a modern but warm decor.
Waiter came over quickly. Service was very good, drinks and food arrived quickly. There were a few glitches with the order.
We ordered a caesar salad and Fried Rock shrimp, julienne vegetables with a mango salsa and chili sauce appetizer-$11. The shrimp appetizer was very large. Easily could have been split with 4 for an app. It was very good, only suggestion would be that there was not enough sauce or mango salsa for the large amount of shrimp.

My husband ordered the skirt steak with risotto and asparagus-$21. He said it was great! I ordered the sesame crusted tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes-$22. I did not want the tuna to be served rare, and asked for it to be cooked past this stage. The tuna arrived rare, so I sent it right back and it was fixed very quickly. The tuna was delicious. Then I had a chance to taste the potatoes, which were cold. Rather than send my dinner back again I asked the waiter to bring me a side of potatoes, which he quickly did. They were lukewarm. When delivering the check the waiter said that the management had comped a drink for the glitches in our order.
We will definitely go back, based on the food and service.

Surprisingly good food for the location! The food tastes fresh and is well prepared. Sitting outside can be very pleasant. I had a nice cocktail, too. However, both times I have been there the service has been slow.

This is a great new restaurant. I was lucky enough to get to sample their menu. I loved the decor of restaurant- it is a gorgeous blue palate. We tried the mussels which were amazing. The broth for the mussels was amazingly delicious-buttery. I am not a big fan of seafood and I LOVED these mussels. I also tried the goat cheese and beets salad which I also loved a lot because there were deep fried breaded goat cheese balls, pecans and beets. The tuna tartare was delicious too, it was paired with sliced avocado. I ordered the statler chicken dish with goat cheese whipped potatoes. The chicken was succulent and very tasty. I am a huge goat cheese fan, so I was in love with the mashed potatoes.  Pretty much everything that I tried was delicious and writing this review just made me hungry...so I am going to go eat now! peace!

Recently went here with a party of 6. 5 of the 6 ordered nightly special ribeye steak. What was served was the worst excuses for a steak I have ever had. It was more like a thick piece of tough fatty roast beef. All 5 agreed. Service was good, restaurant was nice, food DISAPPOINTING.

With reservations we were still seated at a high-top in the bar - disappointed.  Quality and variety of food were good.  The timing was an issue as was the tiny table we were seated at.  No room on table for the appetizers after being served drinks with bread.  The main course came and we were half way through our appetizer.  The food deliverer (not our waiter) didn't relish our request to take it back and to box up our appetizer so we could have room on the tablefor the dinner.  Did I mention there was no room on the table - they have to do something about the tiny tables - either don't server dinner or get larger tables.  This was mentioned to our waiter who didn't seem to care - and didn't spend a lot of time checking up on us either.  Overall the food was good, the bar area was LOUD and the service was not so great. There are better restaurants in Plymouth - not sure I would return anytime soon.

This restaurant is a fantastic addition to the large outdoor mall at Colony Place. We shop there often and were very happy to have a new restaurant. We watched the ongoing renovations and eagerly awaited opening. It was well worth the wait!
The service and food are outstanding and the patio dining was a nice touch on such a beautiful night.
The habanero chicken appetizer is delicious! We will get that next time. I loved the truffled Lobster Mac and Cheese but will likely try the Miso Sake Salmon next time - it looked really good. We will definitely be back and will tell everyone. It is great to see such friendly and attentive service coupled with AMAZING food.
