With great foreboding, we drove my little Toyota to Albuquerque tire, believing that two of its tires were kaput. We expected to spend at least a couple hundred dollars replacing the tires.
When we walked in, we told the guy who worked with us that we expected the tires had to go. But au contrair! He took one look at the tires and said, "I think one might have a leak, but there are probably another 10,000 miles on these before they need to be replaced."
He rotated the tires and fixed the leak for 13 dollars when he could have easily gone for the more expensive fix. These guys definitely have my future business now!
