Be prepared to stand in line a long time at this store. It seems not matter what day/time there is always a huge line and it takes forever to get out of there.
The prices are so inflated it is ridiculous. The only time it is financially a smart decision to go there is when they have sales/coupons. However, like any typical bait and switch, the sale items are often not in stock and like me, you'll be standing in another line to get a rain check.
I also found you have to watch the prices of items as they scan. On more than a few occasions, they advertised price does not ring up. For example, they had steamed frozen veggies with a coupon 2/$1. I normally dont buy them but at that price, I did. I got home and saw I was charged $3.89 for one and 2.79 for the other, not quite the $1 advertisied. -

The biggest grocery store in Tehachapi...lots of selection. Fantastic bakery. I typically find myself getting frustrated when I come here, though, because of long lines and the employees don't seem to care as much about your experience as they do at Save Mart.
