When I first started working in Silicon Valley, I hit this place up for some lunch supplies one time.  I couldn't find any Hummus.  So I asked numerous people who worked there.  They all shrugged.  When I went to pay, the cashier asked if I had found everything.  I said I couldn't find hummus.  He says authoritatively "Aisle 7."  I go to Aisle 7.  There's nothing there but cleaning supplies.  I come back and tell him that there's no hummus in that aisle.  He's confused and says "No, that's definitely where we stock the PUMICE."

I wrote a short letter to Albertson's telling them how they'd never succeed as a grocery chain if they didn't stock the most normal food items in the world, and within a month, they had hummus on the shelves.

IF that was the only problem, maybe they'd get 3 stars.  But they're also incredibly slow and they don't have enough employees to open up other registers.
