Seriously this is like the only grocery store in Ladera Ranch (unless you want to drive further). It's pretty hidden with all the tall bushes and trees so I missed it a couple of times, but my iPhone is GENIUS.
This place is always stocked and organized. The veggies are always fresh with large selections. Prices are steep compared to local grocery stores in my area.
The staff is VERY friendly. They greet you, say goodbye to you, and even bid you a good day. -

This review is for the bakery. I ordered a full sheet cake for $53. It feeds up to 80 ppl and had marble cake, bavarian cream, and fresh sliced strawberries. I ordered it 3 days in advance and brought a photo for them to use. I thought it was going to be scanned and used as edible photo film, but they ended up hand drawing the photo with frosting. It was a picture of a prince crown. Took me by surprise, but I ended up loving that more!
The employees there are so helpful and are willing to accommodate your requests as best they can. Of course, they don't have free range, like independent bake shops. But that's fine, the price was unbelievable. And our guests raved about the cake!
Best of all, we received a free individual cake for my son to "mash" because it was his first birthday!1 Previous Review: Show all »

I think most people in Ladera Ranch shop at this grocery store since its perfectly located on the outskirts of the community.
This place gets pretty busy on the weekend and the shelfs seem to be very well stocked.
There are two redbox kiosks in this store, one by the registers and the other by the doors near the pharmacy.
I just noticed something new today, seems like they transformed the rotisserie chicken warmer into a hot wings station.
They also have self checkout which makes it nice if you only have a few items. -

Clean, yes.
Well stocked, mostly yes.
Customer service, above average.
Prices, overpriced most of the time IMO, although the sales are good sometimes.
I went to Pavilion's up the street Tuesday night for a few groceries and what I needed was cheaper there...wtf? Not expected, since Pavilions can be pretty ridiculous with markups themselves.
BF prefers to shop here, but I rather go somewhere else unless I need something STAT. -

My go-to local "American" grocery store.
Love the fact that they have self-check out...can get in and out within minutes.
Say hi to Justin at the Starbucks inside... He'll hook you up with a bomb-ass coffee, latte, or frapp -

This is my grocery store and it feels like home :) HE he ok that's a bit of an overstatement, it feels close to home. There's this manager there and I suck because I don't know his name, but he is so nice and helpful all of the time. I always have good experiences here, I've asked for help from the meat department a couple of times and a couple other things and they seem to care about you.
Cakes - mmmm you cannot go wrong with Albertson's cakes! They are delish... I tried to get my friend to buy one for her wedding but she went boojie on me.
The produce is fresh, selection is good, I say 4 stars :) -

Seriously the best grocery store in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and great selections. There is a Starbucks and a fresh sushi stand in the store and they have 2 Redbox movie rental machines. Everything is fresh and well stocked. The bakery and butchery have very clean displays with great selections. Plenty of parking and they have 4 self checkouts machines.

I pretty regularly shop at this Albertsons before work. There is a Starbucks inside with really nice baristas. They have a great selection of stuff here. It is a very large store. Nice bakery, good deli. I can get some cool stuff here like Las Golondrinas tortilla chips, Gringo Bandito hot sauce (my favorite) and mini red velvet dessert tortes made by the Albertson's bakery, yum (see photo) :) Self-checkouts lanes are always open and very easy to use.

Customer service here is awesome, the variety is great, and the food is always fresh. Isn't that what a grocery store in a busy neighborhood should be about? Sure, prices are a bit high on some items but the fact that everything is fresh and that their people actually rotate their stock makes it all worth it!

Who knew grocery shopping could be a wonderful outing? All the staff here is amazing, I know most of them by name, very friendly and helpful. They have good produce and pretty good meats as well. Their floral section is great, the floral manager is wonderful. And they have a good deli section, lots to choose from!

So we all have to go shopping to survive. To some of us it's a chore, but to me it's almost something i look forward to. Albertsons in Ladera ranch is by far one of the best grocery stores around. I've shopped other Albertsons and they do not even compare. The store is very well kept and always clean. But most important the Staff that works there are all very nice and helpful. Everyone always says hello and greets you with a smile! On busy days they have a young lady who cruises the store and ask if she can help you find anything. The meat dept is awesome and John, Ruth and everyone will help with anything and special cut stuff for you. They have a great Bakery,Produce, Deli and floral dept as well! Janet will help ya find deals in the packaged meats and cheese dept and is always super nice! Phil, Christy and all the managers always ask if they can help, and Monir,Monica,Darlene, Jose and Trudy are always cheerful and helpfull at check out! Albertsons Corp should use tis store as a model on how all there stores should be run. They treat all there customers as kings and Queens!

Ok, so it's a grocery store....we get it. It's gonna have your essentials that all grocery stores have, but the one thing this albertsons has is some bomb chicken wings. A whole bucket for $12.99 you can't go wrong. Goes great with some baked beans and mac-n-cheese...and if you really want pick up some Hawaiian bread also. You won't regret it!
