YUCKY.

This place stinks like fish the minute you walk in. The produce is ass and basically, this is a store to stop at due to sheer desperation. Since this is the closest grocery option that is open after 9pm, there is sometimes a need to come here, but I am happy to pay a little more for things at Long's next door which is open till midnight.

Im reviewing this store because they CLOSED my Albertson's/Lucky's whatever the name of the week is for this chain almost two years ago. They left us with NO grocery store on this side of town(Diablo Road/680). And the Store they left open is old and decrepit. I've only gone in there a handful of times and its usually under protest because I'm with a family member that makes me go with them. Supposedly a new store is taking over the old spot and its called "Fresh and Easy" or something like that but they don't plan to open till 2009! ugh. Albertson's/Lucky's also closed the store by Kaiser which the employees frequented and locals too.Trader Joe's along with the Elephant pharmacy  took over the site and its thriving and very handy. Whoever owns the Supermarket (and I know they've traded hands a couple times in recent years) made some really poor marketing choices. And virtually will pay for it in the long run, and changing the name aint gonna help!
