I'm slightly downgrading the review, as I have found out that the meat doesn't seem to be grassfed :(
Unfortunately, the company won't disclose what the cows eat, other than that it's a "vegetarian" diet - well, that doesn't disqualify corn, which is what I DO NOT want
If you want grassfed beef in Orange County, I highly recommend the Meat House in Costa Mesa
I still love this Albertson's due to their exceptional service and staff, but I'm downgrading by one star for lack of grassfed beef

I was house-sitting and this Albertsons was pretty convenient. Their prices are pretty high compared to the other Albertsons that I've been to. Customer service is good.

Used to come here in the dark days before Mrs. KC walked into KC's life. Nowadays, a stroll through these aisles alerts KC to just how close we all are to the edge. It's all perception; and now that KC's is rational, it's apparent that this Albertsons isn't full of sexy chicks and gorgeous groceries galore. It's a little tragic.
Speaking of which, do you ever wonder what's up with those panhandlers that work that magic as you're exiting the Utica light at Beach Blvd? It's never the same person. Do they ro-sham-bo for the spot? Is there a secret society with a leader that assigns posts and takes a cut of the booty? And most importantly, why was nobody there on Sunday at 5PM?
Just had to edit this. The avocados for last night's guacamole were damn perfect. One more star for you Dirty Al. -

My daughter's 3rd birthday was a couple weekends ago, and I had waited until the last minute to order the princess cake. I called around 8am on Saturday and spoke to Jennifer in the bakery. She and Gabby hooked it up! Not only did they agree to take my special order, the cake was so cute! And so yummy!
I called at 8, the cake was ready for me to pick up on the way to the party at 1! Jennifer and Gabby rock!
Please get your next cake from this Albertson's! I recommend the white cake with whipped cream frosting and strawberries. It was a big hit at my party! -

Worst grocery store EVER!!!
This location cater to the super wealthy b/c the prices of food here is 3 times as high as a regular Albertson's. I simply CANNOT afford to buy food from this place and have to drive to the 'hood just to go grocery shopping and lug it back home. I tried to use coupons here and there's all these conditions like you have to make a min $20 purchase, and your purchase has to include certain brands, and booze is excluded. Shoot, I only buy booze! Bottom line, the coupons are a SCAM!
What does a sista have to do now-a-days to be able to buy food in HB???? -

So I clicked 2 stars, then changed to 3...I mean it is a humongous chain of a grocery store that carries everything including an entire drug store, Starbucks, etc... within its walls. Their fried chicken and mojos rivals KFC at a much better price... They've got prepared stuff, alcohol glalore w/ a walk in freezer (sweet in the heat of an HB summer)... and who doesn't love the opportunity to scan your own groceries...The self scan rocks! Anyway, only 3 stars, maybe 21/2 stars...
The pharmacy. Yes, ultra convenient, yes, super-friendly if not a little on the krazzzzzy side. You know anybody that's a loud talker??? Well one of the pharmacists is...so as you're standing in line you get the complete run down of drugs anyone may be currently using within a 100 yard radius...The first time it happens you wonder if you're on one of those hidden camera shows. And I swear, people at this place ask the STUPID of stupid questions, and the answers get screamed all over the fricken store' "Of course bleeding hemorhoids is a cause for concern" Bleck! Get me out of here! -

Why is there never anyone around to help? Push the call button by the locked liquor cabinet and prepare to wait 30 minutes! And why is there never anyone at the bakery? Are they all on break? And when I call because I am in desperate need for a quick cake (and I made that obvious) to see what options you have and what is available...if I ask what do you have at the bakery that is ready right now, don't say you would have to go and check and then sit on the phone. Don't ask me if I want you to go and look. DUH!!! Of course I want you to go and look, didn't I just ask you that? LAZY! And the prices here are HIGH.
Besides that, everything else is good. The guys at the meat counter are awesome and they have a decent selection. -

2 stars for the pharmacy...the guy gave me total 'tude when I went to pick up my prescription....don't think I will return
an extra 1/2 star for the woman in the middle of the store making fresh sushi, I actually got some- not bad! The salmon was really fresh, but I definitely have had way better tuna. while running my errands also picked up my cousin a LB of teriyaki wings from the deli on request. that's right Teriyaki wings chillin' in the deli next to the fried chicken....definitely interesting.
weird location, weird people. if you are in the same shopping center, just go to MOTHER'S. -

Decent. It's more homey than the Albertsons on Yorktown. Bakery and Deli are ok too. Not as busy as Yorktown. Not as huge a selection though either.
