I've been going here for over a decade- it's convenient, fairly clean, and has a decent selection of stuff.

I shop here only when absolutely necessary. I find the prices outrageous and the clerks to be cranky. If you want to save money and leave a grocery store with a huge smile, make a trip to one of the Asian markets or the Winco...

This has to be the most cleanest and well organized Albertson I've seen in a long time! Of course it's at Huntington Beach. So far away from me.
All the balloons were inflated and well floating. I know this is something so minor yet the floral department does represent part of the store's decoration. The staff are friendly.
A negative must be the dirty public restroom.
Good job. -

Well, I'm officially dropping you down a star. BF needed ear plugs. Yes, apparently I can snore up a storm on occasion. We stopped in here on the way to my house to pick some up. You have four, count 'em, FOUR open slots for FOUR different kinds of earplugs. THREE of them are empty. REALLY? Was here a HUGE freakin' run on earplugs??
The one kind you did have didn't look like any ear plug I've ever seen. It looked like a round, flat disk. Kinda like those felt things you put on the bottom of your furniture when you have wood floors. Wonder why this is the only type you had left in stock? I wouldn't even BEGIN to wonder how to get those Fu*kers in someones ear.
Basically, you are only good for the 5-lb. bags of tots you carry and the decent selection of Stone beer that is sometimes needed in a pinch. Because of this, I'd actually give you 1.5 stars but I'm not rounding up. Not today, my friend.2 Previous Reviews: Show all »

Every time I walk in here, they've changed it up. I started coming here years ago, when they were first starting to remodel. I remember it distinctly because one night, I met a very cute boy and we made nervous small talk regarding the renovations.
This supermarket seems a little meat-markety (no pun intended). It's easy to get lost and run into the same guys/gals over and over because their aisles don't make any sense. I noticed yesterday that now they have moved some wine next to the fruit and cheese at the front of the store, and added a "wine cellar" in the same area. You go, Yuppie Albertsons. Now you're just like the bougie Vons in San Diego I used to love.
Props to this store for actually having fun and exciting new products all the time. When I found 2 flavors of Its-It sandwiches, I didn't mind the non-sensible aisles as much. -

Albertson's is really expensive, but this is one of the nicest Albertson's I've ever been to. If you can read a sign, the aisles aren't confusing. All of the vegetables & fruits are on the far left corner of the store. In the back they have the deli, meats, sushi (which happens to be pretty decent), & a bunch of beverages.
They have an aisle dedicated to organic/healthy food which I frequent. The employees are always really friendly & very helpful. They have this wine cellar/box area that is basically Albertson's putting on their fancy pants. If you're looking for a spouse, I'd recommend you hanging around that area. You don't want to meet your future spouse in the 99 cent store, go big or go home!
This Albertson's has an array of ethnic selections as well which surprises me. I didn't think I would ever expect to find Soba, Sriracha, Udon, or Hoisen sauce in Albertson's, but they're there. If you have any special requests, you can request it.
Prepare to spend an hour of your life in here unless you're only looking for a few items. There are so many aisles & items to choose from that you kind of get sidetracked from just buying that bottle of milk...into buying the ingredients to make an Enchilada dish you've never made before.
The produce guy is really friendly. He knew I was making stuffed Chile Rellenos when I bought Chile. Out of all of the dishes you can make with those chiles...how did he know I was going to make Chile Rellenos? Psychic. -

However strange it might be to rate a grocery store, this one deserves it!!
This Albertsons is my favorite big chain store location! It is VERY clean, very well organized and a pleasure to shop in.
They have a nice selection of organic foods and it's all placed together in one area so I do not have to search each row for the one organic item in the entire row!
And the check-out staff seems to very much enjoy their job.
This store is not close to my home but it is close to my daughters dance class, I wait until her class night to go grocery shopping just so I can shop here rather than my local store. -

This is a very clean grocery store. Their wine guy is very informative and is more than willing to guide you to good choices at great prices. Whenever I have to buy wine I go here and ask the guy and he's guided me well. I always get compliments on the wines he suggests.

Not the greatest selection and the isles are confusing. Why is the salsa not with the chips but in the texmex aisle like four aisles over? Why are the cheapest nacho chips with the tortillas instead of the chips? Freaking confusing. By the time I'm done shopping I've criss-crossed the store like five times. Not the greatest store on the planet but not the worst. It gets the job done.
