    - Food: Bomb at this location, Other locations in the area do different styles. (Example: Breakfast Burrito, the place off Mountain next to Home Depot puts mayo in it...Nasty)

    - After Food: Not so good. Every time I eat here, I get liquid poop. So I always need to be careful where I will be next.

-Overall: Even tho the after hurts, the food is worth it. 4 Stars

    GO GREASE Lightning!!

So was driving home late one night by myself & had a HUGE craving for some AL Pastor mini Tacos. I wanted to get some via drive-thru and not have to wait in a long line for Authentic Mexican food because not only was I tired & hungry but it was also past midnight and I feared for my safety being in the ghetto area I was in. When my Cravings strikes.. hunger takes over and I somewhat forget about everything else until my cravings are met.

I was on the 10Fwy passing the Pomona area & drove by my old Taco spot, Taco Mexico, to find it close. It used to be open till 2am. Whomp Whomp.. So then drove a little further and made a stop @ Alberto's in Montclair off Central Ave. Hooooray, they're Open 24/7!! I was just going to get a Taco but decided to go for an Al Pastor Burrito instead because I got even hungrier from the extra drive. It was almost 1AM & there was no lines at the drive thru. Al Pastor Burrito was not on the menu but I asked for it anyways. "ALL meat Al Pastor Burrito please + a Horchata (my fave non-alcoholic Mexican beverage)"  Spare me the extra carbs since it was late.  I was thankful to hear that they could make it. Didn't have to wait too long. Order was ready within 5 minutes.

After receiving the bag that was still hot, I couldn't resist taking a bite before I left their lot. After taking my 1st bite, my mouth was delighted with the first taste of the well marinated meat. Before I could thoroughly chew, the hot oil/grease from the other end of the Burrito dripped all over my Lap!! I was wearing shorts & I think I got 1st degree burn on my skin. I just hurried home to finish the rest of my burrito & found the rest of the bites still good... and umm Greasy!!

Food @ Alberto's is Tasty but again, Hella GREASY!! It was past midnight, I was hella hungry, they served Authentic Mexican Food, & they have a Drive-Thru Open 24/7... If not for those reasons, I would have kept driving and passed up on the GREASE. I'm still happy with Alberto's because my cravings was satisfied. At 1AM in the morning, the Horchata still tasted fresh.

My other picks from Alberto's: Super Fries, Carne Asada Nachos/Burritos, Rolled Tacos (Taquitos) with fresh Guacamole & Cheese

I've been going here for over 25 years, since I decided in college that it was the best fast Mexican* in the area.  The chicken chimichangas redefined the chimi for me.

Stopped in there today for a breakfast burrito - machaca con huevos, nothing out of the ordinary.  It was hot and great and I devoured it and sucked down a huge Diet coke out on their shabby patio, across from a laborer of some sort who was enjoying nachos and some form of burro of his own.

It's hard to talk through the window, it isn't pretty, the dining area is kinda grimy.  The food is as great as I remember.  No idea if it's related to any other Alberto's.

*the best slow mexican being Trop Mex http://www.yelp.com/bi... the best late-night mexican being Mitaco, which is no longer there.

I was introduced to Alberto's last year at a Diamond Bar location...the Super Fries (also called the Carne Asada Fries) changed my life!

Well I just made a dangerous discovery: Alberto's is actually located right down the street from where I live.

Ooh, this is gonna be trouble.

After a slight hangover from a fabulous night before, we decided that Alberto's would be the perfect cure; Chicken Quesadilla and Super Fries. It was AMAZING, and yes it was the perfect remedy to our hangovers. It was so amazing we came back today and each got a burrito - So delicious. I seriously want to try everything on the menu...

...and I plan on it. Watch me.

I have nothing good to say about this place except if hungry at 2 am and nothing else is open then sure why not give it a try anything taste good at that hour right?

That said I have tried other locations and they were really good , however the Montclair location needs a lot of improvement. The food is to greasy and the service was horrible.

Came home took one bite couldn't do it so I threw it away!! How do you mess up a quesadilla plain? Maybe it was just the hour we went by IDK? but what I do know is I haven't been back in over 5 moths now after trying it out several times and always ending up just throwing it away.

Hungry on a Sunday night, and was aching for Mexican food, but didn't want to cook, myself.

One car in the pick-up window of the drive-thru when we pull in.  Sure, the place doesn't have the looks, but it's not ambiance that brings you to Alberto's.  They've got a ton of combination plates, and $2 tacos.  The menu was so vast I had a hard time deciding, but I felt the pressure come on so my brain quit and just ordered a Carne Asada burrito. (Wrapped in what looked like a home-made tortilla, plenty of meat, guacamole and pico de gallo).

2 burritos and a $0.50 service fee for using my atm set us back $10.34; take it home, have some drinks and you and your friend are good to go.  They set us up with plenty of napkins as well as green and red salsa.  To me, red was spicier but green tasted better.

I'd definitely go back for more food.  Not cooking means no dishes to wash!
