Great Place to come for late night Munchies... its open 24hours.. I always get a California burrito Meat well done. green salsa. only $4 bucks also they have carne asada nachos and fries. I never sat there and ate, always have it to go. Drive-thru is pretty fast. I like it maybe depends on the time i always have it, late night:)

In spite of all of the rave reviews I've heard about this place, I wasn't very impressed. Originally, my order supposed to be a carnitas burrito, but they messed up and gave me a carne asada burrito instead. Ordinarily, that would be okay, as long as it had meat. Although the meat had pretty good flavor, there was just too much sinew in my meat to make for a good dining experience. I guess there's a reason why I make carnitas meat of choice, less chance of there being mystery meat components in my food.
My friend Lauren ordered a bean burrito with cheese, thinking that it would only be $2.05, according to the menu, and working on the assumption that cheese would be included. However, when they told her the amount, it was $4.05! Just be advised that they charge $1 for guacamole, cheese, or sour cream, so if you aren't expecting it, your $2 burrito could soon be $5!!
The place is rather small in spite of the outward appearance, since there are only a handfull of tables inside, and a handful outside on the covered patio. The drive thru is 24 hours.
**Update: 8/5/07** I decided to give this place another try, just in case my first visit was an anomoly. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I tried ordering the carnitas burrito, and this time, they got it right. Sort of. I work only 5 minutes away from this place, and by the time I got back to work and started to eat my burrito, I noticed it was cold. Stone cold. I had to nuke it in the microwave in order to make it edible. I'm just flabbergasted as to how lame this place is. I've reduced my rating from 2 stars to 1 star. -

The birth of my love for Carne Asada fries 10 years ago..born and raised down the street..this is all i'll ever know!!..other than the stiff competition of taco shops catching on to the trend, Alberto's never fails..NEVER!!

the food is amazingly great. the nachos and steak fries are the best to order they are huge. its a little ghetto so when i go i do the drive thru. i would probably never stay and eat there it doesn't look to clean.
