Yes yes please!
Their carne asada fries remind me of the ones in SD..which is a good thing. There needs to be more taco shops like this in West LA. I'm not sure why the westside sucks so much when it comes to this but I love you Albertos! :) -

Let me preface this review by saying that this place is, by no means, a date place. For one, this place is located in POMONA and adjacent to a gas station. And, yes, anything you hear about Pomona is true. It is recommended for the following: truck drivers, broke college/ high school students, and anyone who is drunk/high off their asses at ungodly hours because it is open for 24 hours.
I'm not a fan of Mexican cuisine, therefore my opinion might be a bit skewed to one direction. I just don't like beans, guacamole, and sour cream and that pretty much constitutes at least 95% of their dishes. It's just one of those traumatizing events as a child where you're force-fed certain foods by your parents and it just didn't leave a great lasting impression to your mouth and/or stomach.
Anyways, my boyfriend has brought me to this place a number of times and I have tried only 2 dishes- their carne asada fries and their bacon cheese fries. Trust me when I say this, you get what you pay for and they are the sole TWO reasons why I keep coming back for more. Their carne asada fries comes with soooo much meat that you cannot see the sight of a single fry until you've eaten a good 4-5 pieces. Their bacon cheese fries are my favorite because I LOVE BACON! You know that Jack-in-the-box commercial where the guy announces to his mom that he's getting married to bacon? I would do the same, but I'm too proud to do the asking and still currently waiting for bacon to pop the question.
So, whether you're on a budget or have a "whatever" attitude when it comes to doubling your cholesterol, come by and make yourself at ease with their entertainment. They never fail in playing a telenovela on their 10" tv tube anyway... -

guilty pleasures.
super fries and cabeza tacos were so goood! great portion and price too!
only downside is that they charge a transaction fee of $1 if you pay with a debit card. -

This little place was damn good for gas station food. I had two carne asada tacos with cilantro and onions. The tortillas were your average corn variety. The meat was well seasoned and very tender. The salsa was the star of the show. It was hot and delicious.
Stop in to get gas and stay for the tacos. -

Had their Bean & Cheese Burrito one morning after work and it was just what I needed to hit the G-Spot :D. I always thought Alberto's as disgusting but after going with a friend I can now saw otherwise.

Anyone who's been to alertos, albertos, alshmertos, all those places that begin with an AL, knows the food here is beyond fantastic, with a subtle greasiness that makes you realize, man this shxt ain't gourmet or organic but it's soooooooooooo good.
First off, let me start by saying that I probably wouldn't go to this location if I were by myself. It isn't in the safest of areas, and there are always bums roaming the vicinity.
I've been here at any given time of the day, but I think the food's always best at 3am, when you're coming home from an evening of drunken debauchery. I've dragged many of my friends here, especially the ones that have never been to a dirty mexican food joint (all you boujie orange county friends of mine). The carne asada fries are to DIE for...so are the rolled tacos/taquitos lathered in cheese and lots of guac. Oh did I mention their adobada burritos? Make sure you have them throw some rice and cheese in there.
Oh by the way it shares its location with a circle K, so when you're done with your mexican delights, you can walk over and grab some more treats before you go home and crash out from the food coma.
Crap. Now I'm hungry. Maybe it's about time for an albertos run. -

Pretty good mexican food. I ordered their super fries and super burritos. I wasn't very impressed by their super fries but its definitely above average. Burritos are good though. Definitely worth visiting.
Prices are around 5~7 bucks for any of the super nachos/fries/burritos u order. -

I'm not even going to lie, I have never been to Alberto's before 3 in the morning, and I've never been there sober, but I've never been disappointed.
They have the best Carne Asada Burrito, and it always tastes fresh, even at 5 in the morning, and there's nothing better to start your morning off then a Bohemia and a big ass carne asada burrito before going home to pass out.
The chicken burritos are pretty awesome. Just a whole lot of shredded chicken, and the salsa verde is pretty awesome.
I was heart broken when I found out that the Garey location wasn't 24 hours anymore, and I lost my place to get my late night mexican fix. But then I found this location and they are open 24 hours.
Next time you are hungry for some great late night mexican food, check out Alberto's, and don't forget to sneak a beer or two in. -

Greasy Goodness.
You couldn't ask for better fast Mexican food at 3:30 in the morning. The carne asada burritos and tacos are pretty tasty. Also, the staff is very willing to do special orders and the result is very tasty. for fans of spicy condiments, both salsa types will satisfy. Plus, if you splurge .65 cents, you can get a pretty generous amount of guac, which tastes pretty awesome.
If you decide to order a quesadilla, however, you will get a free pool of yellow cheese grease in your styrofoam container.
Otherwise...good food + good hours = good times
*Beware: You may experience an ickyness in your gut in the immediate hours after consumption. -

This place IS small and it IS attached to a gas station...but it has it's own door so you don't have to go in at the gas station if you don't want to. It is simple & easy ordering, & inexpensive. They guy is nice and it is DELICIOUSSSS FOOD! There's no service, nothing past ordering and eating the food, onlyt a couple of tables, so probably does some business for to-go ordering...and it is the food that accounts for the majority of the rating for me. And the food is 100% PERFECT! =)

The food here is great and fast. Prices have gone up in the past few years but I still go there. It's not the best Mexican Food around but they do NOT dissappoint. They have a huge menu witheverything you's want. Even Menudo on weekends.
They just opened there doors right in the same building as the Circle K right off of the 60 freeway East, slightly past the 71 freeway exiting on Reservoir Ave and heading right/ South and it is a few feet away on the right - Across the street from the Mattel Toy Store Outlet and across the parking area from Jack in the Box.
The great thing about this Alberto's is that it is open 24 hours. Yeah, so if you are heading back to UC Riverside and need a little pick me up than go for the NACHOS SUPREME.
At first glance at my order, of Nacho Supreme, I thought they gave me someone elses order. I could not see any of the Nacho Chip from under the meet topping. They don't skimp like some Mexican Restaurants. I has so much food in it that it could feed 2-3 people easily. One of my favorites here is the Chiles Relleno. Lot's of gooey cheese and a generous amount of Chiles to satisfy your taste buds. Burritos are great too. I would suggest having the sauce on the side cause that bad boy can get huge and hard to manipulat and eat. So if it is too wet it could get too messy.
Seating is better than average for an Alberto's. THey have booths there so you won't have join table to serve a larger party of people. -

Fresh, authentic carne asada for $4.20??? Best deal for a giant burrito made to order. This place is adjacent to the gas station but still has tables for groups to sit at, so you can dine-in or take-out.
Other recommendations at Alberto's include the super quesadilla and horchata! -

Even though it is attached to a gas station, this is a great spot to grab a quick bite. The dishes are fresh and made to order, and the quality of ingredients is higher than expected.
Over the past few days I've have two of their dishes:
-Shrimp "Faji-dilla": this has the ingredients of a fajita, but folded like a quesadilla (and with extra cheese to help keep it shut). The shrimp was surprisingly good and fresh, and the fajita ingredients (sauteed onions, green, and red peppers) were very tasty.
-Carne asada torta: the meat wasn't that tender, but overall a pretty good torta. They also add in the right amount of guac and lettuce (not too much, not too little), but could use a little extra juice from the meat-- which would also help keep the beef more tender.
Overall, great place for some solid Mexican food. You aren't going for the decor (or lack of it), you're there for a quick bite at any time of the day or night- and Alberto's definitely delivers -

I have been to many Alberto's over the years and I really love it. I didn't know about this location until today
This location was a bit hard for me to find, I had to U-turn a few times until I actually found it. For anyone looking for it...
If you are coming on the 60 freeway you exit Reservoir. On the right side there is a gas station and a Jack-in-the-Box. The Albertos is actually attached to the gas station, so turn in the first right, find a parking spot, and enjoy. -

Alberto's super nachos are the best nachos ever. They have real pieces of carne asada, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, fried beans and perfectly salted chips. The potions are enormous. I would be surprised if you could finish the whole thing in one go. The atmosphere is rather bland as stated before, but that doesn't really bother me at all. I go to places to eat good food and this is definitely one of those places. If you are looking for cheap quality Mexican food, I would stop in and try some for yourself.

so i never seen an Alberto's in this area because its behind the freeway. its in between buildings and in a gas station.
but all i can say. WOW. this place is near my house. all albertos makes the same exact orders. same recipe..nothing different. well except for the one in chino. they give more fries. which is really AWESOME!! but this place is close to my house and i give this a thumbs up. good job with the carne asada fries.. sooo yummy. -

Who knew Alberto's made a delicious fish burrito!! Sounds odd and I was hesitant but someone pushed me to try it and I actually think it's a great alternative to the carne asada fries I usually order here. The fish burrito comes with a fried fish that holds enough flavor to make it a solid burrito. I still had to order SUPER FRIES! Carne asada, plentiful of cheese, sour cream, guacamole, hot sauce.. oh boy. Whether it's in the middle of the day or the middle of the night, Alberto's is fattening and delicious :) All you need is a large Horchata to wash it all down!

Ok this place has great food, however, the people that eat there are a bit retarded. I've been there 3 times now and there are some people who think they can "STARE" you down, like its 4th grade up in the GAS STATION!!!. Come on now, grow up and Alberto's, get these idiots out of your shop.
If you need a reference on when, contact me, get these idiots out. You are not in the ghetto, let these idiots roll themselves.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Albertos. Hmm. Lets just put it this way: great food, blank atmospere. first time i went there i had a super burrito, it was definitely super delicious, super big, and super messy. i guess this is the kinda place you wanna go when youre craving mexican food. good cheap food. the only downside is the atmospere. its...bland. the only thing alive are the staff and the tv playing novelas and spanish music videos, actually once they had family guy on. so if you want some super good food from albertos it will probably have super in its name. UPDATE: before i gave alberto's 4 stars because of its blank atmosphere, but now they had put tons of arcade games including my favorite arcade game Puzzle Bobble so now its 5 stars :D

What can I say, this place is always open on those late night cravings kick in. The people who works there are helpful, and pretty much know what you want once they get the hang of you going back to order the same thing, like i have. I had tried other food on their menu but it draws me back to get my all time favorite Karne Asada Fries. Bed of fries, top with cheese, sour cream, karne asada, second layer of cheese and a few more dallop of sour cream. I don't have them put any guacamole, but i do ask them to put sone rice on top. Now thats customization. Lol!! I give this place 5 stars.
