It's Alberto's, what more can I say.  It's pretty much the same everywhere and everyone seems to have the same menu items as if the employees used to work at Albertos.

I woudn't consider this place a hole in the wall since they are everywhere but a good place nonetheless.

    Horrible experience here.

So after a long day of shopping with my sisters and nieces, a sudden urge of Mexican food came our way. It was either a choice of Taco's Del Rio or this place and decided to try this place since my older sister has never tried it. We ordered Carne Asada Fries, A carne asada chili verde burrito,a Carne Asada dilla, and a Carne Asada Torta. THE MAN ON WAS HIS PHONE COOKING OUR FOOD. OUR CASHIER DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS IN A BURRITO and both kept looking at the menu pictures to figure out what was in it. You serious? A bit frustrated, my older sister dogged the crap out of them and they just kept looking at the pictures to figure out what was in the food.

We came home to find that the torta was burnt, the chili verde burrito had no chili verde sauce on it, the carne asada meet was tasteless and tasted like rubber and the fries, FROZEN AF. + the guacamole was not even guacamole- it was cut of avocados basically. The only thing that was made correctly was the dilla, but even so, you had to dip it in something wet to make it edible.

I had stomach problems after the meal.

I am from CA, but haven't lived there since 1994. I do get a chance to visit anywhere from 1-4 times a year, and when I do, I search and destroy Mexican food. I live in the South, which has the opposite of good Mexican food. Anyways, we hit this joint up, party of six. The lady behind the counter was nice. That was about it. It took about five minutes to order. Worst part is, we all knew what we wanted! Anyways...I know b/c of the language barrier, things may take a minute so it was cool, just a little frustrating since I was hungry enough to start eating out of the trash can. Food came out quickly but sure was bland. Even the salsa was bland. Pico? Bland. I would have been better off shredding a napkin and putting it on my food. All in our party agreed on the blandness. Mediocre at best. Don't go getting all butt-hurt at my bad rating, I am sure this joint is hit or miss, and we missed. The inside was clean but check out the decoration. Doesn't go w/ a joint like this. Just sayin.

Definitely the best Mexican hole-in-the-wall (that's actually a small chain) in the area!  Great flavor, wonderful value, huge portions, consistent taste...wow.  I love all their breakfast burritos, the machaca, the carne asada and all their veggie burrito selections.  Their tortillas are always so fresh and homemade tasting.  I'm not as impressed with their plate combos...the rice and beans you can do without.  Besides, their portions are big enough that you don't need the rice and beans.  I haven't figured out why this location is rarely busy when I go...it's so good!

One of my favorite places for carne asada fries in Corona.  Although not the best, it's good enough for me to get my fix.  I will say that the quality of the carne asada differs day to day.  Sometimes it will be flavorful, and other times its bland, dry, and not so great.  They do not offer too many condiments in their salsa bar.  They have your typical salsa, and do offer pico de gallo which is great.  If you want salsa verde you have to ask the cashier, since they don't have that in the salsa bar.

Not all Alberto's are created equal.  This is one of the better ones.   What I mean is.. the meat isn't tough as leather (like the one in Tustin)

Disgusting Mexican food. Greasy and bland. Head over to Miguel Jr's instead.

If you're in Corona, this place beats Miguel Jr. for my money.  That's not to say Miguel Jr. is bad either-it's not, you can't go wrong there, but the ingredients I must admit do taste a little more fresh here and the tortillas are always well-cooked.  I usually order the vegetarian burrito and I've never been disappointed.  I'd rather give them my money than Taco Bell anyway.  The hot sauce is really fantastic.  I love horchata (rice-flavored milk drink my fellow ignorant gringos!) which I highly recommend and, well, if you're in Corona, there's this one, there's also one on McKinley...anyway; it's a great place for burritos if you're driving through to the OC or heading up to Vegas or whatever.  Stop in and check it out!

This is a great spot for some good Mexican food! It's in a turned over ex-McDonald's. It may appear deserted or have only 1 car parked but that's part of the charm. The beef taquitos are the best..(crispy shells, seasoned shredded beef) with the perfect amount of cheese and make sure to order it with guacamole....homemade and absolutely perfect. The only other thing I tried here it the Taco platter with refried beans and salad....delicious (the tacos are swimmin' in grease, though)
