We spent last weekend participating in ice-Frisbee golf, and this bar seems to house a majority of the event. They served a great lunch for everyone that was there for the event, so we did not have to order off the menu. If the regular food is anywhere as good as the buffet, I would eat there. It was really busy, and you could tell they were a bit short on staff, as the owner was running around clearing tables. I was a bit surprised at the prices, given that were were up-north, but they were at least strong. We had a blast, and I look forward to stopping back for the 4th of July.

Nice atmosphere, easy lake access, decent food. Service could be better.
I stopped at the Yacht Club while boating at 3:00 PM on the 3rd of July looking for a quick sandwich for me and a friend. The bartender told me the kitchen was closed and they weren't serving any food until that night's fish-fry (it was a Friday) at 6:00 PM.
I asked to speak with the owner to confirm this as I couldn't believe that a restaurant in a seasonal tourist-based economy would really turn down business in the busy season. Sure enough, he just shrugged at me and told me that the bartender was correct.
I can't justify spending my hard-earned money at a business that clearly doesn't understand basic principles of customer service on general principle. I have been back there, but only if I'm meeting others out that are already there, or for some reason have to be there. -

This place has the best ribs in town. And it overlooks the bridge and Lake Minocqua so it's a great place to have a beer and eat and watch the sun go down. Be aware, the later it gets, the louder it gets. And your chances of running into people you went to high school with increases by 500%.

Note that this bar is also in Yelp as "Yacht Club", so these two should be merged if possible.
You can't beat the Yacht Club for on-water bar food in the Northwoods. The food is fairly good- basically anything grilled or fried, which is basically everything, is good. Philly Steak sandwich is surprisingly amazing. Classic apps like poppers, wings, fried mushrooms, etc., are all up to northwoods bar fryer standards.
I love watching inexperienced and/or tipsy boaters attempt to dock and/or refuel their boats (including trying to figure out their classic old-school gas pump and super-long gas hose) at Albee's. You just can't pay for entertainment like that.
Service is generally good and consistent. The manager/bartender guy there has been there for years, or at least it seems this way.
I have fond memories of sitting in the sun, sipping cold beers, eating fried apps, and enjoying the lake view at this place. It's terrific.
