Review from Brad S.

I worked with Sarah at Alaya to hone my career focus. After our initial conversation, she came up with a number of observations, exercises (physical and mental), and approaches to help me start to move toward clarity in what I felt was a pretty chaotic situation. Sarah didn't have an agenda; I felt like she really strove to give me approaches each time we met that would work best for my unique situation and personality.
In a relatively short period of time, Sarah helped me tune into what matters most to me, and she helped me discover and use the tools I needed to navigate my way toward aligning my personal passions and career goals. I expect to use throughout my career and life. In doing this work, I made sure to the spend the time to do the exercises, read the literature, and really engage with what we were trying to get done. Sarah's not a career counselor, and she doesn't suggestion any specific answers; she was there to help guide me, to help me help myself. As a result, the thinking I did and changes I made were entirely authentic.
I'm very thankful for her great breadth of wisdom and depth of insight. I had a wonderful experience with Sarah, and I would recommend her to anyone assessing his or his career. -

I love working with Sarah! I am in the process of transitioning out of an unsatisfying and stressful corporate law career, and into something that is more in alignment with my values and desires. Sarah is helping me uncover my desires and make this transition as rich and positive as possible. She has an incredibly intuitive sense of my "blind spots," and asks questions and explores ideas with me in a way that has my same old stories slipping away and unfolding into new possibilities.
I'm also studying Qigong with Sarah through her weekly class, through which I'm developing a more grounded approach to whatever life tosses at me (not to mention relief from the physical pain of chronic injuries). I have greatly benefited from Sara's unique somatic approach to coaching, and would recommend her work for anyone looking to dive into what's not working in their lives in order to create something new and thriving. -

Sarah also teaches qigong through the Institute of Internal Transformation. I took classes with her at the Sangati Center (also a five-star venue). She's great fun, a perceptive teacher, and very joyful in her approach to healing.

Review from Young Y.

As my mentor during my enrollment in the year-long professional coaching course, Sarah has helped guide me into the direction of deeper self-inquiry while acknowledging and understanding the difficulties of doing so to. Consequently, she creates a safe and nourishing environment for growth. As a bonus, she is very generous and proactive with her support, which is a delight and fortune to have.

Review from Charlene S.

I am making a transition to a new level of in my career. I needed a different set of capabilities to move from a manager to a leader - vision, stronger communication, confidence in myself. Sarah's coaching helped me clearly identify these needs, and she has worked with me to develop these new skills. Importantly, she gives me exercises so I can practice these skills until they become natural. She structures the exercises so I can do them regularly and often. I believe that her background as a lawyer helps her to understand the issues I face in the corporate environment, while her Qi Gong / Feldenkrais experience helps her help me "re-wire" myself and reach my goals.

Review from Heidi M.
San Francisco, CA
Sarah coached me at a time when I was feeling stuck and a bit overwhelmed with my business and questioning how I was going to move forward. She is incredibly insightful and always seemed to know what I was trying to say, even when it wasn't very clear to me what my thoughts were. Sarah gave me exercises and suggested reading materials to help me come up with my own answers and ways of doing things that really worked with my personality. She was able to assess what issues were holding me back and in an instructive and supportive way helped me to reach my goals.

Review from Sara A.
Golden, CO
I knew I wanted to hire a coach but the ones I interviewed didn't speak my language. Sarah was an instant match because she has the linear mind of a former attorney and the spiritual knowledge of a Qi Gong master. I needed both. I wanted to be more decisive, spend less time second-guessing myself and to be able to get more done without the internal conflict hampering me. Sarah taught me how to recognize when I am "stuck" and gave me tools to get myself back. She is an excellent listener and always helped me figure out my own answers, which, turns out, were there all along. I accomplished all of my goals in 6 short months of coaching. If your life isn't going exactly the way you want (or if it is), I highly recommend Sarah!!
