I have only been going to Dr. Nohr for about two months now but I am already as impressed as can be. I've lived in four cities in three different states in the past ten years, so I've been through a bunch of dentists, and I'm thrilled to have found one that I believe is the best one yet.
The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They presented a treatment case sheet that showed every issue that I have with my teeth, what the treatment options were, and how much each would cost with my insurance.
Lastly, and most importantly, the crown that they put on was extremely well done. This is my third crown done by the third different dentist, and on the other two, I was so sore for a few days I could barely eat and was constantly taking Advil for the pain. On this one, I waited for the antisthetic to wear off, and when it did, I felt no pain whatsoever. They did a phenomenal job. The cleaning was also done very gently but thoroughly, with useful feedback for me on what my "problem" areas were and how to improve.
This is how dental work SHOULD be done. I give these guys five stars and look forward to being a patient for years to come ... at least, insofar as one can look forward to anything related to the dentist. -

I have had many a filling and cleaning at this place. I've been going for about 7 years now. They even did a couple of crowns for me. They go through dental hygienists like they're going out of style, and for some reason they always, WITHOUT FAIL, broach the topic of how many kids I have. (Not whether I am going to HAVE kids, mind you) So -1 star for bedside manner. But they've always done a good job.
I even went in for tooth pain one day, worried that I was going to have to have some serious work done, and they just prescrived over-the-counter sensodyne toothpath for me. They told me to rub it on the tooth and leave it on for a while, and that took care of it! No charge. Thanks guys. -

I had a basic exam here and was impressed by the hygienist, Dr Makagon, and the billing consultant.
Just to be a good consumer one should get a second opinion regarding any expensive procedures they may recommend, but I still endorse them. -

I found Dr. Nohr bc I needed a second opinion when "Sunset Dentistry" surprised with 4 cavities after moving into the area. Dr Nohr's dentists took a look and noticed that two needed air abrasion and the other two were "watches". Over the next 5 years of dentist visits, I was really impressed with the hygienists and dentists at Dr. Nohr. They were very patient, knowledgeable in the latest techniques (like air abrasion - much better than drilling) and did a great job keeping my mouth clean and costs to a minimum.
I never had any advanced procedures but if you need general dentistry (cleanings and good evaluations), I highly recommend Dr. Nohr's team.
Since I moved away, they have also been very helpful in transmitting documents. They have great receptionists.
One note: When I started using a sonic toothbrush, I noticed better comments from the hygienists even though I never got going with the flossing.

Dr. Nohr is a native of Washington State having grown up in the city of Bothell. He graduated in 1989 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Washington, and completed a postdoctoral residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Nohr is a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Seattle King County Dental Society, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Washington State Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is also a member of the Redmond Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau.
