I went to this shop after getting my Nissan Frontier rear-ended. Actually my previous choice on Park St. did not have parking, so I elected to go to this shop instead.
When I went in I was promptly greeted by Doug who began the paperwork process, had it estimated and I was out of there in less than an hour. He said he would call me when the parts came in, and they were in the next day.
I dropped the truck off on a Friday, he said it would be done the following Wednesday, to which I replied "Yeah, right!" Well, it was done on Wednesday as promised and they did a PERFECT job. In fact they washed my filthy truck AND cleaned the inside as well.
The other nice feature is that they are very close to the Alameda Enterprise rental location, so when Doug called for a pick up for me, they were there in ten minutes.
My hat is off to Alameda Auto Body...they know how to treat a customer right.

Of the three estimates I had done for the cosmetic damage on the front of my car (low-speed collision left the front paint scraped and cracked and maybe damage underneath), this one was the one in the middle.
I don't have any way of telling how good their service is, but they seemed to have a fair amount of business.
They seemed very professional and it appears they are well trusted by the long-timers of Alameda (several old-timers came through picking up their repaired cars while they were doing my estimate).
One thing that seemed odd was that they wanted to know ahead of time whether I would be having the work done there- I told them it would depend on how much it cost since I'll probably have to eat it (high deductible).

As a local shop we have become very good at meeting your budget. The focus is quality and satisfaction of course. Tell us what you need fixed and how much you can spare. If it can be done "right" for that price we will do it!
