Sacramento, CA
I love this place, espeically the manicurist Kim. My boyfriend at the time and myself went to her for pedis and she was friendly, accomodating and quick, along with friendly and nice. While there we had a lovely conversation with another client who was working with the other manicurist who was also very friendly.
We were offered tea and water and truly got the spa experienced, we were the last customers of the night for Kimberly and she treated us like we were the first a gesture that is rare and was much appreciated after such a long day.
I have seen the other reviews complaining about this young lady; but the service I recieved was professional, clean and done with a smile. This young lady is greatly appreciated.
Since breaking up, my ex (who is diabetic and has to have frequent pedis) and I still frequent Kim for our manis and pedis seperately and both still rant about her friendly service and professional manner.
Thanks! -

Just got home from a great experience here!
I too got the Living Social deal for a mani/pedi. I called a few days before the deal expired and they had to put me on a wait list... for March?! Apparently over a thousand people got this deal! With only three manicurists in this salon that's a lot of nails to get through! Luckily, Jen called me a few days ago and said they had a cancellation on a day that I noted that would work for me and I got in!
I walked into this salon and was shocked that I wasn't instantly hit in the face by the smell of chemicals as is usual at most salons. That was nice. The gal at the front (the massage therapist) greeted me and said that my manicurist was running late because she takes the light rail. One of my pet peeves is people not being on time but okay, it is what it is... 15 minutes later my manicurist Kim arrived. I was kind of annoyed but wanted to relax plus Kim instantly made me feel at ease. It felt like I was hanging out with one of my girlfriends. I have never had that experience while getting my nails done. Kim has only been doing nails at this salon for 6 months but is very passionate about the business and you can tell in her work. She walked me through each step she was doing while we were chatting about fashion, boyfriends, and how we like our coffee. She was so sweet! A great thing about this salon is that they are eco-friendly and use natural, safe products. My nails look great and I had so much fun. I can't wait to go back! -

When you take your pants off and put on paper panties so that you can let a lady spread hot wax on your underparts and then rip it off, you need to be choosy. So even though I still don't totally know how to pronounce the name of this place, I'm a huge fan. Here's why:
1. Three Irish sisters own and operate it. And they are rad.
2. They use all natural products and work at being a green company that is proud to be a Sacramento/Midtown biz.
3. The waxing is fast and the facials are thoughtful.
4. They are on g-mail, so I can instant message them at work to get an emergency bikini wax and my coworkers don't need to know.
5. Random massage and hair appointments here have been amazing as well.
I recently started making my appointments here regularly (not emergency) and I'm thoroughly happy. Stop in and tell Heather I said hello! -

For me, the life span of my hairstylists seems to be 1-2 years. Its tough to find someone who is consistent and stays on top of their game in terms of continuing education. I see Rebekkah exclusively now for my hair care/makeup needs. Upon an initial consultation and service, I knew I would be a client for life! Her passion for her clients to have beautiful hair that they love is self evident. I trust her implicitly as I also have her do my Mom's hair. Rebekkah is a rare breed of stylist. She is highly skilled, professional and intuitive. I get more compliments on my hair now then I think I ever have in my entire life!!

I'm sorry but the girl who did my nails did an absolutely horrible job, which is why this place received such a low rating. I can't recall her name (Kim, maybe?), but she told me she'd only been doing this for a few years, and after the job she did on my manicure/pedicure, I believe it. I couldn't even enjoy the services I was receiving, because I kept having to use my hawk eye and tell her what to fix. For instance, she didn't make a straight line on a few of my nails when she made the french tip, and I had to bring it to her attention and have her correct it. Really? What is that?
Also, she put this pretty red gloss (looks like a healthy, faint light pinkish/red when it's applied) on my fingernails but I noticed the one she put on my toenails weren't the same shade (it looked like she didn't apply enough coats.) When I told her, she didn't even offer to fix it. I admit that she fixed the other nails that I told her to fix due to the crooked line she drew, but why not fix anything I'm not happy with?
And, it didn't help that she was on her phone, texting, right when I walked in. The funny thing is, she even complained to me that another Yelper wrote that about her in a review. HELLO, who wouldn't think that's unprofessional?
She ended up spending 2-2 1/2 hours on nails; in the end, I tipped her $10 not because she did a good job, but because I could tell she had tried to do a good job, appreciated the one thing she did offer to fix, and just felt bad for her. I know this was just a LivingSocial voucher but seriously, it's not fair they give someone so inexperienced the responsibility to take care of people who purchased those vouchers. I was hoping to have a wonderful experience, because I read the reviews on here where everyone had raved about Jen, but nope. I'm never that lucky.
I wouldn't come back to this girl to get my nails re-done, especially since my nails chipped within a matter of days. If I get a manicure/pedicure, I at least expect it to last a week. Guess the search for the perfect nail salon will continue ... -

I'm a little delayed to do a review because I had a hard time between deciding 3 or 4 stars...and here's why.
What I really liked: the information provided when getting my facial (302 Signature Treatment-Regeneration Facial). The consult I received was informative, but it didn't sound like a sales pitch - just good info on how to care for my skin. So much so that I went shopping for the products advised to use, bought these, and have really loved it.
I love getting extractions, but the esthetician got a little carried away. Now I have super sensitive skin and never had to mention it as I have had many facials with extractions, but she tried to extract some that probably were not ready to be extracted. Therefore, a few hours after leaving I had scarring on my face.
I made this known to her and she allowed me to return the very next day to take care of my skin. I really didn't want to return, but I had a weekend event to go to, so I did. I got a treatment and then was given products FOR FREE to help the scarring go away - what a mess.
Needless to say the customer service was fabulous, but the thought that I could have repeat issues...I hesitate to return. -

5 stars for an amazing facial!
I'm the girl who can barely justify the half price deal I purchased on LivingSocial for my facial, let alone the actual price of the work. But after seeing Heather I can't justify NOT paying the price to continue services here--I feel like the end of my life-long battle with my skin is finally being won!
Heather was knowledgeable and friendly. She let me know what was going on with my skin and what I needed to do to fix the issue. She even helped me out with some recommendations of products I can afford. A month after seeing her and switching to the earth-friendly, cost-effective, and completely do-able regimen she recommended people are seriously asking me what I'm doing differently.
THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE!!! My skin has always been a crazy wreck, and now I'm being told I glow!
I am going to find a way to afford this!!! -

I love this place! I scoured Yelp for the best nail, pedicure and ingrown toenail place after suffering with ingrown toenail annoyances for the last year, and this was the place that shined through all the others. I called right after their first online "deal" even though I didn't know it, and they were busy. Even so, they worked out a time for me to come in that was reasonable. Ever since them I've been back as often as they are available and as I can afford. Kim & Jen are the two nicest ladies ever. They both take their time to really pamper their clients and do a good job. They always try to accommodate my schedule and know my preferences from the moment I stated what I needed, without scorn or criticism.
I love this place... I've recommended it to all my friends and haven't heard any complaints! -

I went here recently with a groupon or livingsocial deal. I was skeptical since I can't pronounce the name and no one answers the phone when you call. They prefer email because apparently it's a co-op place and all the estheticians are independent operators. But I was delightfully surprised by the location, right in midtown near Bistro 33, and by the cuteness of the salon. I had a massage by Kirsten and it was wonderful. She was nice and the massage was great. I think she went a whole hour too. Great!

I liked everything about this place except for Kim being super disrespectful of my time. For that reason I wouldn't ever come back. I did like that they open a new set of tools for each manicure, which indicates to me that cleanliness is important here.

I bought a LivingSocial deal for this place and immediately made an appointment. A lot of people must have purchased vouchers because my appointment ended up being two weeks out from when I purchased it.
I was greeted when I arrived which is really important to me, so I appreciated that since they didn't seem to have a receptionist. I'm used to my name being messed up so I can't fault my technician for getting it wrong.
The place was clean and designed nicely, although smaller than I had imagined. It was also freakishly quiet. I thought that there would be some music or something in the background since the place was practically empty aside from employees.
The lady that did my nails was very nice, but I could tell that she must be new in the industry based off of the way she did my nails (a little slow, and pulled my cuticle off with nippers once the corner had been raised - no pain, thank god) and over-disclosing about her personal life.
I'll say that I am pleased with my mani/pedi because she did do a decent job but I cannot say I will return. There's nail shops on every corner and this place was lackluster to me. -

This review is based solely on visiting the best aesthetician: Jennifer.
Jennifer will treat you like a VIP. I started going to her for Brazilian waxes a few years ago. She did an awesome job and uses a technique that is fast and as painless as possible!
I then went to Jennifer with a bad acne problem. She helped me get clear skin again and feel confident leaving the house with just a little mascara! YAY! She not only treated me with facials but gave me great advice on how to systemically treat the problem, finding the right makeup products to use, and even giving me free samples to try before I actually buy the product. Jennifer and her sister spend a lot of time researching products and their ingredients in order to make sure they only provide quality products to their clients. Impressed to say the least.
I've always love the service and attention I get when visiting over there. She spends extra time making sure you get the VIP treatment and always has great advice on how to monitor any skin problems you are having.
This woman and this spa is a gem. Keep your eye out for groupons and livingsocial deals to give them a try! -

Jen has a way about herself that the first time you see her, you will be a lifer. A customer for life. She is kind, honest and has INTEGRITY! She uses great products and charges very reasonable prices.
Andrea is a gifted massage therapist and I will be going back to her also. I'm picky and she is confident and good at what she does. -

This place is still spectacular. It's the best facial in town, even if it costs a little more than the places that just wash your face. As noted in my previous review, I got a gift certificate to Alainn Tu a couple of years ago. But make no mistake, even at full price, Jen will rock your socks off (if you weren't already mostly naked)
Jen clearly loves her job. She has a healing touch, she's easygoing and helpful, and talks just the right amount during the facial. She spends extra time dealing with your skin issues, throws in product samples and extra services, just because she wants you to be relaxed and get the best results for your skin. This place is truly a gem.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Best facials around. Hands down. Jennifer is the greatest and all about natural skin care. I just moved away from Sacramento a few months ago and I miss her terribly! You get more than your money's worth going to her, and I was a regular (coming in every 4-6 weeks for eyebrow waxing and facials). She introduced me to some great products (302 for skincare and afterglow cosmetics for makeup). When I got down here to Orange County, only a select few spas/salons had these products and they always ask "how did you find out about these??!" They are considered the best of the best in organic/natural products.

I went with the Living Social deal for mani/pedi. I was so excited for a nice spa treatment. The business is in a nice complex and they seemed to be quite busy based on the wait time to get the appointment made. This had much more of a bargain salon joint feel than an upscale spa. The pro's: The women doing the mani/pedi's could not have been nicer. She did an amazing job painting my fingernails. Great foot massage with the pedicure. The best thing about the salon was the lack of chemical odor when you walk in. They use all natural products. The pedicure stations are very hip looking and it was fun. The tools came out of sterilized bags. This is a big bonus.
The con's: The salon is filthy. It seemed that whomever had been there the day or evening before did not even clean up after themselves. There was hair under the hair cut chair. There were empty drink/soda containers sitting out. The floors looked like they could use a good mop. The kitchen looked like a mess and the curtain was left open so the customers can see how dirty the employee area is. The bathroom was out of toilet paper and I was directed down a dark hallway to get there. The woman at the front couldn't be bothered to turn on a light or peek her head into the bathroom to make sure it was ready for clients. The place needs a major dose of elbow grease. I'm guessing it was not done by the manicurists but it will hurt her business. I would love to give them more stars but it was such a mess in there I would have left if the instruments did not come from sterile bags. Need more pride in the place, it has potential to be awesome. I could not pay spa prices for the service. Totally worth the price I got from Living Social. -

Went to see Jen Carr after a disappointing prior experience (with a different manicurist). She contacted me about my last review, and offered a repeat manicure service to try to make it up to me. I really appreciate that she cared enough about what I had to say to address it and try to fix it with me.
Since I was going anyway, I also purchased a pedicure.
She did a great job, and even though only a short time has passed, I can tell the application of the gel polish is right this time, and there are no signs of lifting or chipping. Everything looks great, and I can see why people rave about her. She does a very thorough job too, so expect to be in there for probably about 60 minutes for a basic mani/pedi and longer if you do any upgrades.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Jenn is a nice lady. She is new to menicure and pedicure. She is very friendly. But I did not like the menicure-pedicure service. I think the quality of nail polishes was really bad. After two days my nail polish started chipping and on the 4th day my nails looked ugly. Really disappointed. :(

This review is for pedicure only. I initially chose to go to this spa because of the wonderful reviews left on yelp. However, I was very disappointed. Since the living social deal, they have been extremely busy and it has affected the quality of their services. Just to warn you, you will need to book your appointment at least 3 weeks ahead of time. Due to high demand, expect to leave a message and not get a call back for several days. These things did not affect the score I gave them, I expected this with how many living social deals they sold. They expect to be making appointments for the living social deals past January.
I showed up for my appointment a few minutes early and was the only customer in the store. I ended up waiting for half an hour to start my appointment because the girl who did my pedicure was making a personal phone call. She invited me to sit down (very uncomfortable pedicure station, my back was hurting by the end of the appointment) and continued to have a private phone conversation in front of me. Her conversation was pretty inappropriate for the business setting. When she started my appointment, she barely spoke to me. I didn't feel like she cared about my appointment or experience at all. I got the deluxe pedicure, but felt as if she rushed through the appointment. Very little massage or communication as well as being fairly rough with me. I left feeling like I wasted my money and my time. I won't be returning, they seem as through they have more business than they would like and don't care about the customers anymore. I can go somewhere else and get a better pedicure for cheaper. -

Scheduling is a serious pain if you want to schedule more than one service at a time. Even though everything is housed under one roof, everyone appears to be an independent contractor, each with his/her own phone extension and even their own separate phone number for making an appointment. There's no central receptionist to juggle multiple requests, and every time I've called the main number, I've been greeted by a machine instead of a live person.
That said, the quality and pricing of their services is superb.
MANICURES/PEDICURES: Add me as a member of Team Jen. I've been to Jen three times for nails, and her impeccable paint jobs could cut diamonds. The first time I went, I got a mani/pedi and left a week later for a trip to Ecuador that involved hiking, scubadiving, swimming and playing on the beach. By the time I left for a wedding back in the States, my feet remained in pristine condition, enough so that I proudly touted my tootsies without having to make any touchups. The manicure had worn just enough that I redid the paint job, but considering that nearly every manicure I've gotten from elsewhere has significantly chipped by the very next day, it's clear that she uses high quality products.
MASSAGE: I've also had massages with Tristan, who can really work your muscles into submission, if that's your sort of thing. The first time, I thought that was what I wanted, but his deep tissue ended up being too intense for me, and as soon as he lightened up a bit on the pressure, and the result was so calming that I relaxed into a light snooze (sorry if I snored, Tristan).
FACIAL: Finally, I had the signature facial with Jennifer (not to be confused with Jen), which involved cleansing, masks, steam, extractions, and my favorite non-essential - but oh-so-pleasant - parts of the facial: both a neck and shoulder massage AND an arm and hand massage.
Awwwww yeah.
Jennifer was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about skin problems (mine are of the pizza face variety), and she suggested treatments without overtly pushing the line of products she carries. Instead she presented me with the options she would suggest, wrote everything down for me and let me take it home to digest on my own time. I won't hesitate to return to her for my next facial.Listed in: Go ahead, you deserve it

FABULOUS!
Got a Groupon and went to see Jen. She is amazing! So knowledgeable on everything, we talked about food, women's health problems and stress and how they all impact our skin health. More importantly she is well versed in the chemicals and toxins in most drug store skincare lines, and gave me a long list of preferred skincare products that are organic, affordable and can be found at Whole Foods or right there in their lobby. Best conversation I have ever had during a facial.
The room smells excellent, very calming, and the bed is the most comfortable thing I have ever laid in. I would have considered asking for a massage or something to be added onto my session just so I wouldn't have to leave the bed, but Jen is usually booked up two weeks out so I knew I couldn't. Damn!
Go here, its worth the money. My face is glowing days after, and their skincare recommendations are already softening my skin, I can feel it.
PS: get the 302 lip balms before you leave... lips lookin good! -

I never thought I'd utter the phrase, "My spa," or "my facailist." Yet here we are...
I am not the kind of person who frequents salons, spas, or cosmetics stores. I get annoyed if my nails are long enough to click on the keyboard, and my beauty shop is the Target clearence endcap. The thought of setting foot into a nice salon or spa makes my stomach turn, mostly because I know they can tell I don't belong there! But a combination of a Living Social deal, mixed with my skin deciding I was 14 again, led me to try this place.
This place is casual, small, and cozy. Jennifer is great. The room for the facials is so nice...a bed, music, dim lights, it's actually relaxing, even for someone like me! Jennifer does a great job and really gets to know your skin and asks a lot of questions. She can suggest things to try (vitamins and what not), and tells you what products to avoid (which includes Target brand. Damn it). What I like is that, even when I told her that would buy ANY products that would work for me, she would not sell me any. She wanted to make sure I liked them first before I bought them, and sent me home with a product that lasted for 9 months! Every time I go back she assesses how the prducts are working, and suggests changes to the routine, as well as adding new samples that might be a benefit. Now my skincare routine is simpler than ever, and I spend the same or LESS than I ever did with the cheap crap! And it works!
She uses all the natural/organic/"green" kinda stuff, so some people might like that. I couldn't care less if my stuff was made in a lab or a plant, as long as it works! Jennifer has a satisfied tom-boy facial customer! -

The only thing that bothers me is WHY DIDN'T I COME HERE SOONER?! This place is seriously beyond amazing. As in, take what you think amazing would be, and multiply that by like 100. Okay, I don't want to hype this place up TOO much, but it really deserves its 5-star rating.
I was introduced to this place from a LivingSocial deal I got. I bought this deal way back in September, but didn't use it until recently, and boy was I kicking myself for not using it sooner! Anyway, I made an appointment with Heather and came in a week later.
They have you slip into this cloth thing like how you would put on a bath towel, which makes the experience all the more comfortable when you're lying on the bed for your facial. Let the magic begin... :). The music, lighting, and just overall atmosphere alone is enough to put the biggest insomniac to sleep. So relaxing and peaceful, I tell you.
The facial itself was a wonderful experience. Heather is very knowledgeable and talks you through your facial and about any concerns you have about your skin. Definitely got some great tips! At the end, she wrote me down a list of all the suggestions she gave me so I wouldn't forget. So sweet! I was really afraid that since I had a coupon deal, I was going to get a lesser thorough treatment, but she definitely makes you feel like she genuinely cares for her customers.
So seriously, what are you still doing here reading this review? Go book your appointment now, you won't regret it! -

Used a groupon to get a deep tissue massage. I booked online, but got a phone call later to inform me that the deep tissue therapist would actually be out of town that week, and would I like to try lomi lomi instead. I appreciated the phone call, and booked the new massage. I learned that lomi lomi is not at all my style. I asked her to focus on my back, but instead it felt like she was just doing her usual massage routine. She did put a smelly tiger balm-ish rub to help with my shoulders.
What I didn't like is that the sheets were stained right where my face would go! The therapist pointed it out herself, but told me they were clean. I believed her (who doesn't get some stains on their clothes?), but it felt pretty unprofessional to have even used those sheets in the first place. -

I started going to this spa for waxing and a facial when I got a gift certificate over the summer. I have also gone there for a mani-pedi now and every treatment I have had done has been great!
I visit Jennifer for my skin care. She has a wonderful personality and she gives an excellent facial or waxing. If you feel like talking about your skin or body health, she is very knowledgeable and has great advice. She goes the extra mile whenever she does a service. You don't feel rushed, and Jennifer and Heather show a lot of pride and joy in operating their business.
It's a happy place to visit - clean, comfortable and laid-back. I like great products and people, but I'm not into the whole uptight spa experience and this neighborhood spa is both prefoessional and welcoming.
Alainn Tu is committed to greening their business, and they are the only "Green Spa" I know in Sacramento. I really appreciate that I can support a business that has my values. They are a quality salon who offers a great value for the services.
This is a wonderful neighborhood salon. Check it out! -

I got my first pedicure at Alainn Tu on Friday. I am a fan of this place. The decor is very relaxing; I kept asking Jen where they got the pillows. Everything just looks very Zen and peaceful.
The place is not bustling or high energy either. Just relaxing. I got the basic pedicure which came with a foot and calf massage...it was very nice. I felt Jen took her time on it, which I liked. She also made some nice conversation with me - I can be kind of chatty sometimes. They also have all the good and trashy mags to read.
Overall I felt the price was very reasonable, seeing as how I price checked a few other places before hand and they were all more expensive.
I would definately return to treat myself with a pedicure again, and probably some other services as well. -

I was up in Sac-town visiting my little sister for her birthday and decided to treat the both of us to a facial and read all the good things about this place on Yelp so we decided to check them out. It's such a cute little place! They took us in at last minute on a Saturday, which is always a plus in my book. The moment you walk in there is an aura of peaceful zen. The facial felt so relaxing - I dang near fell asleep! It was perfect! The steam, neck and shoulder massage, and of course getting your face pampered felt wonderful. I felt like I got my money's worth!
Me and little sissy got a really good deal on our facials because we told them we heard about them through Yelp. The next time I'm in town, I would hit them up again!Listed in: Love Thyself

Absolutely amazing!!! I purchased the mani/pedi deal from Living Social last month and made an appointment for August. Definitely worth the wait! Jen did my mani/pedi, she is wonderful and I loved chatting with her. I went for the shellac manicure, which that in itself for only an additional $10 is a steal compared to what other salons charge. My nails look amazing and it last 2 weeks! Jen is so precise and thorough with her work. I often get mani/pedi's and walk out feeling like I didn't get my money's worth, not with Jen. From making sure my nails were shaped the way I liked, to scrubbing my feet thoroughly to the massage to advice on polish color..... Wow, best mani/pedi ever!

Let me start by saying that I live in New York and I still will only go to Heather for facials.
It's a routine, I book my flight, I call my hair dresser for my cut and I call Heather for my facial.
I've tried various places, in various cities and yet Alainn Tu is the only place I return to. Why?
- Heather is a wealth of skin knowledge. No seriously- ask her anything about your skin and she will have an answer or will find out for you.
- They don't rush through your treatment, it's however long it takes to do it right.
- The prices are exceptional in correlation to the quality of service!
- And of course- you will see the results within the next day- amaaazzzzing skin.
Give their products a go-around too. They work well and are very reasonably priced. In fact, Heather is having a toner shipped to me in NY as I type this. Yeah, she's kinda awesome like that. -

I got my pedicure a few weeks ago with Jen.
First of all, I love that she uses Zoya products and does not drown your feet in water (very eco-conscious). Second, I love that I did not feel pressured into making conversation with her...she just let me zone out and relax. Third, my pedicure is still superb after several weeks of trekking the streets of midtown in flip flops, running miles upon miles of sidewalks, and lugging my kayak in & out of rocky shores in nothing but water sandals!
I totally recommend Jen and will definitely come back. -

I went here because I bought a Living Social voucher for my mom and myself. 15 bucks for 1 voucher for a pedicure, one heck of a deal right?
It took us a few minutes to find the salon since it was at the corner with about 4-5 parking spaces. When we arrived inside, the salon looked like a really small and tidy place. To the right was the cash register, to the left there were a few chairs, and straight ahead there it was, where we were going to have our pedicure done. Now this isn't like other places I've been to with the massaging chairs and bubbles for your feet. Well not like it's a bad thing.
We were greeted by one of the girls. The manicurist was still finishing up with another client so we waited for about 10 minutes. After she finished up, she greeted us and introduced herself to us as Jen and got us settled. Jen is super nice and friendly. The staff were awesome. They offered us drinks and teas. I didn't take anything, but my mom took a cup of tea and she was given a variety of tea packages to choose from. The salon looks really clean. Even with it being clean, while Jen was doing my mom's pedicure, the girls still steamed the floors anyway which made it look even more clean. Jen did take her time to do my mom's pedicure and did not rush to finish it so she could come do mine. Well of course since she was the only one who does nails, she did my mom's first and then mine. Jen is very gentle. I have sensitive skin and she was not harsh at all. She didn't cause me to complain either. I've been to many different places to get my nails done and the manicurist is usually rough and in a hurry, but nope, not Jen. My mom and I got french tips which was like $5 more for each of us. Jen did a great job with massaging my calves and my pedicure. The french tips lasted pretty long.
I had a wonderful time here. Jen is just awesome and gentle (that means a lot to me). My mom even complimented to me saying she thinks Jen is great and I hardly hear my mom say good things about other people when it comes to service. We did tip generously because she did an awesome job and didn't rush to get us out. I only wished that I bought the facial too, but I'll save that for another time. If you ever need to get your nails done, Jen is the person you should go to. -

Become a regular!
If you're looking for someone who will get to know you and what you want, Jen seems like the kind of person who will do just that. She has a professional demeanor and did everything I asked. I had a pedicure and one reason I have them is for the leg and foot massage. Jen spent a fair amount of time on them and I really appreciate that.
Alainn Tu roughly translates from Irish to "You are Beautiful" and I think this is what the owners want to project. With many different contractors working from the space, it is well equipped for that which they do best. Pedicures, Nails, Hair and Massage.
My massage experience left something to be desired, but massage is a very personal service so I would recommend trying it out if you're looking for someone to go to regularly.
All of these services are very personal, so if you're looking for someone to do Nails, Pedicure, Hair or Massage, I would give them a try. You just may find someone you can go back to again and again.Listed in: Services, Athlete's World!

My facial was the best ever. Seriously. I used my Groupon, so even though I only paid half-price, Heather spent around 90 minutes with me. I had the facial three weeks ago and my skin still looks amazing. I will definately go back. My only regret is that I wasted time and money trying out other spas in Sacramento.

Fabulous experience! Heather always empresses me with her knowledge and I walk away looking at least 5 years younger. In 2008 I was having trouble with acne in one area, very frustrating. It was recommended I have the 302 Ultrasound Treatment Facial. It's been well over two years and I have never had an issue in this area again. Very thoughtful effective therapy with pricing I can afford. Highly recommended!

I love Jennifer! It's amazing how much better I feel after one of her facials. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and talented, she is also a very sweet and sincere person and honestly cares about improving your skin. I absolutely love that they use only natural (and often organic) products! Jennifer and Alainn Tu are not only helping my skin immensely, I also feel like my overall health and wellbeing are improving as well. Thank you so much!

Heather and Jennifer, sisters and co-owners, run a cozy midtown day spa. I booked a MediBack Clearing Facial with Heather. It lasted 90 minutes and cost $85. Heather effectively targeted my skin problems. The extractions were very thorough (painful but tolerable). I'm happy with the results: my face looks clearer, smoother, and less ruddy.

While I was visiting my best friend in Sacramento, we decided to have a spa day while I was in town. We took advantage of a Groupon deal and booked massages and facials. My massage was good but my facial with Jen(nifer?) was amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable about skin and she was great about answering questions and offering suggestions for my skin. Wish I lived closer so I could come in for regular facials (and to see my best friend more often, of course) but I will definitely be back for one the next time I'm in town!

This is a great salon. I get my hair cut by Sarah, who does an awesome job and is incredibly nice. The inside is comfortable without being pretentious, and it's $10-15 cheaper than other salons in the area. After reading the other reviews on here, I'm looking forward to a wax!
