I came here when they first opened and haven't been back since today.

Back then, they were decent but NOW, Let me tell you this place has perfected their recipes and everything tastes absolutely fantastic. As a table we ordered the Beef kabob, Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, and Falafel.

Everything tasted incredible but the Falafel was what really set it off! I haven't had great tasting falafel in Atlanta in a looong time and this seems like they actually made a fresh recipe rather than using some cheap mix. All in all they get a 5 star for great food.

My only recommendation is to come hungry because you get A LOT of food. Also definitely order a few pieces of falafel you won't be sorry.

This a great family run restaurant that is friendly and attentive to their guests.  The food is great and very consistent, generous portions and excellent ingredients deliver a great experience.  I have entertained at Aladdin's well over 100 times, with every guest so pleased that they are anxious to return with their family.  I enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and to date Aladdin's is the best food and value in metro-Atlanta.

I tried this place a few months ago and really liked what we had, but it was always off my radar because we lived a little too far away.

But! Then! We moved closer and it's become a regular spot. :)

This place is GREAT. You get HUGE -- GINORMOUSHUGEOHMYGOD -- portions of food and they are not expensive at all! Always plenty for leftovers. Every thing I've ever had has been really good. I never cared for falafel until this place. We've had lamb and beef platters, all kinds of sandwiches, the pita bread and hummus (their pita is so soft you could cuddle with it!) and we have not been disappointed.

You order at the counter when you come in. The menu is on the wall or in front of you printed out. You get a number and go to your table and then they call you. I've been during lunch and it was busy, and I've been there 20 minutes before closing (oops) and they were still busy, with folks continuing in to come in. There's also outdoor seating, and hookah, which I haven't tried there yet.

    Go! You won't regret it! : )

My new favorite hookah place. And deliiiicious food. The pita bread is piping hot and pillow-y...it's great. They also play music videos of stuff I've never heard before, but definitely fitting for the whole environment.

The hookah is like $10 *and* this place doesn't REQUIRE you to order a minimum amount of food to order the hookah.

Hole in the wall ish type of environment but OMG I loveee loveee looooove. I want to try their rack of lamb special for $20. Maybe next time.

This little place in a Publix strip center in Sandy Springs, GA is a gem.

The food is authentic with rich flavor. My wife loves their Lentil Soup which is served with crunchy pita chips. I like their meat shish kabobs and lamb. The meats are cooked to order. The spices and/or marinade they use in preparation really adds flavor. The meals come with hummus, rice, and jerusalem salad. All are tasty. The hummus tastes great on the pita served for the table.

The service is fast casual. You order, pay, sit down and wait for your number to be called. The china is hard plastic and stainless steel for flatware. Not the fanciest, but sure beats stryo foam and plastic flatware at other establishments.

Staff is friendly and seem genuine when they say good bye as you leave. This is the best mediterranean in this part of Sandy Springs for sure.

It's a 3.5 review.  I've had their full platter meals, and I gotta say, the grilled meat is tender and flavorful and everything else on the plate compliments it.  It's good comfort food.  I crave those platters sometimes.  So these are a 4.

Recently I came here just after it opened for lunch service, and got their falafel sandwich.  I wasn't too impressed.  The flavor of the fried falafels was interesting.  There were some spices I couldn't quite make out.  But I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of sliced cornichons and sauce they put in the pocket, which spilled out everywhere.  It might explain why the balls weren't crispy, whose texture inside ... was just okay, a 3.

Lentil soup was kind of pureed, and kind of bland, but I actually enjoyed it with the bits of baked pita.  It was nice to warm up my stomach before digging into the sandwich.

Good value, good service.  Always a good stop on the way to the park trails.

    Bang for the BUCK!!!!

This place serves up huuuuuuge portions of food. I was a first timer and was in the area so decided to stop in. Didn't realize they were in the same hard to find location as Circle Sushi is. We walked in and was greeted by a nice employee who gave us the rundown of how things work. We sit, we order, they call out numbers and you pick up. Simple and stress free. Here's what we got.

Kebab Sampler: Huge plate of beef, lamb kabob, and chicken. The chicken was fantastic. I've actually never had chicken that moist in a long time. The hummus which I think comes on every plate was just average though. I would've loved the salad if it wasn't drenched in dressing as well.

Vegetable Sampler: Big plate as well with offerings like wrapped grape leaves, falafel, baba....(eggplant thingy). All very tasty with the Pita bread they serve. I had enough leftovers from both meals to last me 2 days. Not that it was actually good after 2 days mind you.....

Contrary to popular belief... Pita bread does not get better with time.....

A really good and friendly Mediterranean place that offers freshly made food, good portions, at a decent price.

Had the veggie platter for around $10, which came with a generous heaping of falafels, hummus, babaganoush, tabouleh, and cucumber salad. That's not all - you get a basket of pita as well as a side of yellow rice. You can easily make 2 meals out of this.

Oh yeah, passes that ultimate test of authenticity - lots of families there on a Saturday night.

Off Roswell road, south of the historic area, and near the Chattahoochee River trails.

I've been here several times and they finally broke the three mark and into four. If you come here get the shawarma plate. Go ahead and get both the beef and the chicken. It's a great value for a substantial amount of food. I like their tabbouleh and sub the Jerusalem salad for that.

I love the tea station with the crushed almonds, rose water, orange blossom water, and mint.

The falafel is only so-so. It's a bit on the crispy side for my tastes. I've not been moved by the kofta/keboudibeh. But I don't have to fret any longer now that I found their shawarma.

It's also a good place to buy shisha tobacco. I haven't tried the hookahs here, but it looks like a good place for it.

I can't believe that I forgot to yelp about Aladdins. I am going to preface this review with the fact that I am originally from Detroit. So, I have high expectations when it comes to Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. Aladdins is the closest that I have been able to find. I am a huge chicken/lamb shwarma fan. I love to have that with rice pilaf and hummus. Sooooo yummy. Nothing can touch my beloved Palm Palace back at home, but I have to say that Aladdins is pleasantly close.

Shawarma plate is excellent value, right combination of cool and spicy.

Staff are friendly, kind of cafeteria-feel but that doesn't distract from the high-quality meal.

Behind an Arby's, in a strip mall, hidden little gem, worth a visit, you might get hooked.  I go there a lot so I guess I am hooked.

I don't normally find myself this far OTP, but I was doing a friend a favor and in return she bought me lunch here.

All's I can say is "DANG!" I'm upset this place is so far out of my way.

The Lebanese iced tea is delicious. It's very Southern-meets-Middle East in that you start with a glass of plain ol' sweet tea, and add your own almonds, rose and orange blossom waters, mint, and lemon. I am not really sure if they do drink this in Lebanon, but holy crap it is tasty.

We started with hummus-- not only was it just really pretty to look at, it was some of the best hummus I've had in a long time. Sprinkled with paprika, parsley, and I think some lime juice too.

I had the beef shawarma sandwich; more pita bread, so I was getting full by this point. I dissected my sandwich and removed the delicious meaty bits from within. Pour some tzaziki sauce on dat bitch and we're good to go.

I was dumb and also ordered baklava, because we loves it, yes we does, precioussss. I was able to fit a few bites with the remaining space left in my overly crowded stomach. It was good, but not good *enough* to make me want to eat the rest and risk exploding from food.

I can't foresee making a special trip to Ros-hell to eat here, but if you're in the 'hood it is definitely a place you should be eating at, right now.

One of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants.  Restaurant is located in a shopping plaza off of Roswell Road (which might have changed names to Atlanta Road by then), just North of Northridge exit and south of the River. Overall, a great place to eat.  The atmoshpere is a bit bland, but clean which makes it not a date place, but great for lunch or a ncausal weekend meal.  Probably around 10 bucks to eat.  Check out my picws. Just wish it were ITP!

You order your food at the counter, get a number and then sit down and wait to be delighted.  I love their vegetarian sampler which includes stuffed grape leaves, hummus, babbaganoush(?) the parsley salad thingy and falafels. Their kabob plate is great which includes rice, chicken, beef, filet or lamb along with 2 sides of your choice from the items I mentioned earlier.

The lebanese coffee is also nice. It's the thick kind that looks like it's going to be very strong and bitter, but is actually a little sweet and uniquely fragrant.

    I love this place.

    Love:
    - The falafel:  Crispy balls of tasty goodness!  Best I've had in Atlanta...  Of course this means their falafel sandwich is delish.
    - The schwarma:  Very good.  They sell the schwarma seasoning there in the restaurant.
    - The lebanese tea.  The Turkish coffee is yummy too, if you're brave enough for all that caffeine!
    - The tabouleh is also very good...
    - They serve generous portions.  Great for sharing for to have leftovers for lunch the next day!
    - The Hookah Lounge!

    Less Love:
    - I second the other reviewer above when it comes to the stuffed grape leaves.  Mushy blobs of mushy blobness.  You can't really tell what's going on inside, which is never a good thing.
    - The kofta kinda looks like poop.  :-)  But, it doesn't taste like poop.  (Not that I know what poop tastes like.) LOL  It's actually very good, just not visually appetizing.

This is a great place for lunch. They are always quick with the service and there are always plenty of places to sit, including outdoor seating, which I love.

I have ordered many different things off the menu and I have never been disappointed. Everything is well made but I can't say anything is amazing. I guess I've just never eaten bad Mediterranean food. However, comparatively, the prices are great and the food is plentiful.

The place doesn't wow me but I have and will continue coming here for lunch because it is dependable and pleasant.

I've been coming here for a couple of months now, for lunch.  The only thing I've ever eaten is the chicken shawarma sandwich and the baklawa.  I order my sandwich by phone, made in a specific way...so when I walk thru the door, they know it's me...LOL!

One day I'll try something different but everytime I go, the chicken sandwich calls my name!  It's very filling and well worth $6.15.

This is a lovely little place.  The staff is very welcoming and friendly.  I went with a friend who goes there regularly, and they inquired after his dad and asked how business was.  It felt like family!

After much debate, I got the shish tawook sandwich ($5.75) and two pieces of falafel (.65 each).  The falafel was AMAZING.  The sandwich was very good as well, although I found that the pickles overwhelmed it (I counted 6 pieces of pickle in one pita).  I would love to try the shawarma next time, and the lentil soup that my friend got looked very delicious indeed!

Jerusalem Bakery set the bar for this type of restaurant. However just like a chick can be not as shapely as Dagmar Midcap, yet still piping hot, Aladdin may not be as awe inspiring as JB, but they are very good.

In fact, the value may be better. A large shawarma can be had for less than $5.00. There is a reason why they thrived for years in static quadrant of a busy shopping center.

This place is a great find - serving a myriad of good Mediterranean food for a decent price.  I've had better Mediterranean food before - but on this side of town I don't yet know of any other places (any suggestions, people?).

The staff is friendly, the dining room is of ample size and spills out into a covered outdoor patio.  They sell Hookah's for those who love to smoke.

Try this place out for yourself if you like Mediterranean flavors!

The food was decent, but it wasn't spectacular.  The service was okay (the food is ordered at the front and you have to pick it up from a counter so not much in terms of service) and the teen running the register at least did a decent job at that.  I assumed the hummus that we ordered would come out as an appetizer or something, but it came out with the rest of the meal.  This wasn't necessarily bad, but it caused us to use the pita with our meal instead of using it solely with the hummus like it was there for.

If I lived next door to this place, I'd go every now and then, but since I have to get on Ga-400 to get to this place, usually, I doubt that I'll go very often.  Maybe we'll try to find another med. place somewhere else.

They do have a hookah section, but we didn't try this.  It may be one of the only things that bring us back there.

Aladdin's is one of those places that you will keep coming back to because the Shwarma is so darn tasty.  Can't decide on Beef or Chicken Shwarma?  No problem, order the 50-50 plate, (not on the menu).

The Shwarma plate comes with Hummus, a Cucumber/Tomato salad they call Jerusalem salad & rice.  You can sub out Babaganoush or Tabuleh for any of the sides.

If you're into a lighter lunch, the Greek Salad is really fresh & delicious.  Also, their Pita shwarma sandwiches are the perfect size.  Think more filling than a 6 inch at subway, but not as filling as a 12 inch.  The Falafel is made to order, so it's fresh, light & fluffy - perfectly done every time.

There's also a bunch of middle eastern spices & some CD's for sale in the lobby if you are into that.  Overall, the food is excellent, the people are really nice that own the place, and it is very clean.  Finally, the prices are right!  You can spend $6 here and walk out full!

The dolmas were served cold, which I'm not used to, but the flavor was great. And the baclava was incredible. Had a hard time finding it - it's in the Publix parking lot, tucked behind the Arby's. I've never ordered anything here that I don't like, although I prefer the meals to the sandwiches to enjoy the meat better. The hummus rocks. I've never come here for the hookah's, usually because I'm here for lunch, but that would probably be nice to check out as well.

The Falafel & Sharwama are cooked to perfection & very filling. The well seasoned grilled meat is to die for, great salads & delicious mint flavored tea with pine nuts added...hmmmm! watch out for their free sandwich/meal deals!

Until just recently, I was working in the same general area so being that this is one of the few fast food restaurants, I had to check it out. I love their falafal platter! It comes with so much food that I always have some to take home. This was my go-to, until I decided to give the greek salad a try. I've never looked back. This thing was bigger than ever. Tons of shredded chicken, if you opt for it, and lots of other yummy toppings. Although I no longer work in the area, I crave this salad so I attempted to purchase all of the ingredients and try to replicate it at home...not the same.

This was a little more casual than I'd expected (my husband read up about it, not me). Basically, you order at the front, sit down, and wait for your number to be called. If we go back, I think I'm going to try a Lebanese tea (I tried googling without much success - if my memory serves me, it's essence or orange or rosewater with lemon and pine nuts - and tea, duh). In any case, I got the vegetarian sampler, which overall was decent. However, I make better baba ganoush. It is not hard. Roast eggplant. Skin eggplant. Toss in food processor with garlic, tahini, and lemon juice. Enjoy. The hummus was tasty, but again - not hard to make. Their pita was DEEEEELICIOUS though. And their falaffel was very very tasty. It's too bad their stuffed grape leaves were basically mushy crap. Customer service needs some work though. All in all, about 3.5 stars, but I'm feeling generous.

Yum, yum, yum.  This place is addictive.  The combo Shawarma Plate comes loaded with freshly sliced rotisserie beef and chicken, Jerusalem salad, saffron rice, hummus and pita.  It is enough to share or, if you are like me, take half home and have another awesome meal.  The Lebanese-style spices on the meat pop with flavor.  As a garlic lover, I get extra creamy garlic dipping sauce - very garlicky.  It is the perfect spot for a casual lunch - order at the counter, fix a Lebanese-style iced tea (my husband loves this part), then take a seat & wait for them to call your number.
