Amazing food and amazing service! Our server (Michelle) was incredibly knowledgable about the extensive menu - also super patient and very helpful. The food was priced great, with large portions and bold flavors. Impressive dessert selection too!
I would go back again for sure! -

Aladdin's is delicious and affordable. I HIGHLY recommend the hummus, which is generous enough for 3-4 people to share. For dinner my boyfriend is partial to the chicken shwarma, and I like the lamb. We both tend to get the rolled pitas, although I've had other things there -- salad, chickpeas, etc. -- and everything was good. I also really like their fresh fruit smoothie.
The interior is clean and comfortable, with the gold tones giving a hint of intimacy. A step up from casual, but not quite fancy -- a perfect medium. Service has ranged between fine and quite good. They've always been nice about my special requests -- leaving out the greens, onions, etc.
Since discovering Aladdin's late last year, we've probably come once a month, and I'm sure that will continue because it's consistently enjoyable in every way. -
Review from Jeremy O.
After reading a few reviews here on Yelp about Aladdin's Eatery, I was honestly a bit surprised to find out that they were a small link in a restaurant chain that spreads throughout Ohio. The atmosphere was excellent, the food was good, and the restaurant generally did not show the symptoms that most chain restaurants suffer from. Always a pleasant surprise when dining in West Chester!
However, even with the aforementioned praise I have for Aladdin's Eatery, I can't see myself giving it over three stars at this time. Yes, the food was good, especially the baklava, but the service was definitely lacking during our visit. Although we were seated quickly, it seemed like it took forever for our waiter to come by and check on us. I think he only stopped by once or twice throughout the entire meal, which annoys me to no end.
That being said, Aladdin's still offers Middle Eastern food in an area comprised of McDonalds and Burger Kings, which makes for a nice change of pace. I hope that the service improves during future visits, and I can come back and raise my review up to four stars, where this restaurant probably really deserves to be. -

I ate here for the first time last weekend and I was very happy with my experience. My boyfriend and I both had the falafel wrap, with a hummus appetizer. The hummus was some of the best I have ever had. The falafel wrap was also very tasty, although I cannot claim to be any sort of expert on falafel, considering I have only eaten it twice, the first time being in San Francisco at a restaurant specializing in falafel which was featured on a television show. Overall, very good food!

First Class place................thanks YELP for coming to the rescue.
As always, when traveling, I went to "YELP 4 HELP" to find me a nice lunch place. In Cincinnati area at the time.
I had colleagues with me....with one of them not the most adventurous of eaters. This would be his first try of Middle Eastern (Lebanese) food.
The place is very clean and bright and well appointed.
We were warmly greeted upon arrival and had a brand new waitress (she had been there 2 days).
She suggested a pomegranate tea which was a good suggestion
We had Baba for an appetizer. Pureed eggplant + tahini + garlics + lemon. Dip that pita deep!!
She also suggested the Flavor savor Special...which allows a taste of many items. Beef Kafta-Think a Middle Eastern Meatball. Also Chicken Mishwi-grilled chicken with lemon juice and garlic.
All very tasty.
When in the area (or anywhere in Ohio as they seem to be across the State).....try AE! -
Review from Lauren M.
Whenever I get a craving for falafel and/or baklava, this is where I go. I always know the falafel will be flavorful and of a good consistency (meaning not dry- I am avoiding typing a certain 5-letter word starting with "M" because one of my Yelp friends has a word aversion!)
My most recent trip was a delightful lunch with my mother. The service was fantastic, and the food was perfect (oh, except for one thing: the tomatoes, but store-bought tomatoes are kind of sad little whitish things everywhere these days).
Sometimes, I jokingly refer to Aladdin's as "mediocre greek food" because it's a chain, but on this particular occasion, there was nothing mediocre about the food (other than the tomatoes). My favorite greek food is pretty much anything involving falafel, with a special fondness for the falafel pitza at Aladdin's because it has banana peppers on it (yum!). I am more or less in love with their greek yogurt dressing, and could potentially drink a gallon of it in a sitting, but am not quite brave enough to take on any such bets. Plus, the words "drinkable yogurt" squick me out.
Some of my other favorite delicious things at Aladdin's are the vegetarian chili, the falafel salad, and their vegetarian combo sampler. On my latest trip, my mom and I considered having hot tea, as they have a decent selection, but as soon as we saw Iced tea in Pomegranate Green Tea flavor on the menu, we had some kind of Vulcan mind-meld and about tripped over each other to order it from the waiter. It was incredibly refreshing, especially considering recent heat waves.
One of the items on the menu I tend to avoid is the pocket, because it is huge and actually seems big enough for two people or rather awkward leftovers. Otherwise, I think maybe save ordering it for ravenous occasions.
I believe everything on the menu is available as take-out, which is perfect for me, since Aladdin's is located at near the halfway point between mine and my parents' homes. I almost always end up purchasing some baklava to-go on my way out.
The strip-mall that it's located in is not hard to find (if you can find the Chipotle, Aladdin's is on the other side of the same building). The bathrooms have always been very clean whenever I've been there, too. -

Best hummos ever...creamy, lemony...peppery with olive oil...the tabouli is amazing, the food, in general, is wonderful, soups based on lentils, etc...the most amazing thing to me though, is that really, its a very "a la carte" menu...everything amazing, grilled lamb EXCEPTIONAL, the pita bread leathery and perfect for picking up food. I've been there in the ast, when the lamb was DRY as beef jerky...but it appears on this latest trip, that they've corrected that...it was WONDERFUL, tasted like they had just pulled it from a char grill open pit out back. If you want food that is great tasting, and good for you, and leaves you with a feeling of well being, like you just did something good for your body, this is the place.

I'm a big fan of Aladdin's because of the consistently excellent service, food and overall dining experience. I have tried nearly all of the items on the menu, and most are great. I especially love the huge salads and delicious homemade soups. The tuna steak rolled, and its creamy garlic sauce, is my absolute favorite. (I'm happy to pay an extra 60 cents for extra sauce by the way.)
The wait staff was especially pleasant and helpful and answered all of our questions regarding menu items. They neither hovered nor neglected our party during the leisurely 2 hour visit of our visit!
If you want to be sure to get a meal with fresh produce, fish and a variety of flavor profiles of the Mediterranean, Aladdin's is the place to go. -

Best Feature: Food, service, and price! How does it get better?! :-)
Worst Feature: It's a drive for those on the east side of Cincy or in NKY.
I was incredibly excited recently when finally stopping in for my first visit at Aladdin's - the Yelp reviews had really hyped it up a bit for me, and I love when I get to see how my experience compares with reviews of favorite spots in Cincinnati!
We walked in and were IMMEDIATELY greeted by the manager (I think he was mgr, not sure). I noticed that for the remainder of my visit, he was always on top of greeting others in an incredibly friendly and enthusiastic manner within seconds of arriving. That in and of itself got points, but there was much more to come.
We sat and ordered from the kind waitress - we decided to start with the veggie combo, which featured a lot of the appetizers all on one plate. Hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and two other delicious goodies were on our plate and the waitress, for no extra charge, gave us both a garlic-based sauce and a spicy sauce. I'm so glad we got both because they were both phenomenal and not to be missed out on!!
I ordered a chicken-based dish which was essentially char-grilled curried chicken with peas, onions, and other awesomeness wrapped within a pita. Like a calzone, but more amazing. It also had a salad included as well, which was nice.
My boyfriend ordered a hummus/shawarma dish with beef which was also absolutely divine.
The menu selection is AMAZING - they have everything from apps to salads to dessert. If you are vegan, this place is a definite plus! They have a ton of vegan-friendly dishes.
The service was great! Our waitress couldn't have been nicer; she was always refilling our waters and also was kind enough to answer a burning question during a heated Dexter debate. We may have seemed goofy to her, but she was a great sport and joined right in!
The food was, hands down, some of the BEST I've EVER had. I love middle eastern cuisine, and not only was the food insanely flavorful and amazing, but they gave a great portion as well! Very filling and very delicious.
I will definitely be returning! The only downside is that this is located in West Chester - not an easy trip for me, as most of my traveling doesn't take me out in that direction at all, but it is worth it!! -

Pros: Good selection of food and reasonable prices, and it sure is good!
Cons: Smaller venue, was crowded at lunch time, fountain drinks were unavailable the time I went due to a malfunction of some kind.
I stopped in here for lunch today, and I was pleasantly surprised! They have a relatively extensive menu that showcases all sorts of Mediterranean dishes to choose from as well as a nice selection of desserts.
I decided to go with the Chicken Shawarma and I wasn't disappointed! It was filled with veggies, deliciously prepared grilled chicken, and tahini sauce.
The service was great, I was getting carry out and wanted a coke with my meal, but the waitress said I should try it first to make sure it wasn't flat...it was. She said they had some issues with it the day before and someone was coming to fix it later, but she let me swap it for some fresh brewed raspberry iced tea which was really good! I am not usually interested in iced tea but this was very refreshing, not to mention it went well with my meal!
When I got back to work to eat it, my fellow coworkers thought it looked so delicious that they all ended ordering some food from there as well, and they also really liked it!
I can say this is definitely recommended if you are in the mood for Mediterranean. -

Oxford, OH
This place has a HUGE menu, with plenty of options even for those with dietary limitations. There are plenty of vegetarian options and even vegan ones, and they have an annotated menu for those looking for gluten-free options. The food was delicious (my Loubie Bzeit appetizer was especially tasty and flavorful) and the server was very attentive and helpful. And the prices were great, especially considering the quality of the food. We didn't have a reservation so we were told there would be a 45 minute wait, but they ended up seating us within about 20 minutes.
No complaints at all, except that it's too far away from Oxford! :) -

aybe im bitter because they try to upsell and cross-sell as much as they possibly can and have the audacity to charge 60 cents for an additional side of garlic sauce... Oh well. Fairly quick service and any of their meals are delicious. Highly recommend the falafels.

Review from Trisha K.
They have a couple of good things that bring me back, but when I do, I usually wonder why I did.
They have an appetizer called Chicken Sambusek, which has curried chicken and veggies folded inside a thin pita. Everything inside has great flavor and COULD be down right delicious, however, the chicken is CONSISTENTLY burnt. Nothing more I hate than charcoal in my meal. It makes me want to light their food on fire along with the menu...every time. BUT for some reason, I go back.
They have pretty good hummus, which I doctor up with a bit of their garlic sauce (love it) and it goes great with the Lebanese Salata. They also have great baklava.
I must say they are the winner on the worst smoothie I've ever had.
The services is usually friendly.
When I feel like trying it again, maybe I should read my review... -

After unsuccessfully trying to go to First Watch & Cornerstone Bakery, I dragged my mom to Aladdin's. I'd been to Aladdin's in Columbus, but worried she wouldn't be a fan of the Lebanese cuisine. I got my usual - the lamb rolled pita & my mom went with the Lebanese Salata. My mom spent about half of our lunch looking over the menu & finding items she wished she would have ordered instead. We both enjoyed our lunch. They put tomatoes in my pita even though I had asked for it without and somehow forgot the lettuce. We were in a hurry though & it really wasn't that big of a deal. I think the waitress was more upset about it than I was. She offered me a free dessert, but I was already looking forward to a pumpkin latte at our next stop and declined. I hope my mom goes again because Aladdin's is one of my favorites!

In a such a small suburb in Ohio with very limited offerings of foreign taste than the food bar at IKEA, Alladin's is incredibly delicious. Kaftas and creamy rich, garlic hummus. Did I mention they have baklava? Yep...in the lyrics of Charlie Sheen's dubstep video, "Win here, win there, win, win, win everywhere..."

Finding dining options in West Chester's Union Centre can be a little limited. You have a few choices, including chicken wings and beer at BW3's, open-face roast beef sandwiches at Bob Evans or Filet Mignon at Jag's. All sound pretty delicious but sometimes I'm looking for something else.
Enter Aladdin's Eatery off the main stretch of Union Centre Boulevard. The inside is on the smaller side compared to most other local restaurants but is very clean and boasts an interior with warm colors and mouth-watering smells. The hostess working the cash register was very polite and immediately offered me a menu after I told her I was looking for takeout. I decided on the chicken shawarma, which I've had at other establishments. I was quoted around 6 minutes for my sandwich and received it hot within the time period allotted.
I absolutely hate when I look over on the road and see people eating while they drive, why not wait until you get to where you're going and enjoy your food? I hate to admit it but my grumbling stomach just couldn't take it anymore. I had to dig into my shawarma right away. The chicken is so tender I would think it cooked all day in an oven or crook-pot. The tahini is a little more watery than I would like, but it likely just got mixed in with the juices of the chicken. Sauteed onions are also stuffed into the substantial pita bread, that's strong enough to hold everything in while not being too tough to bite.
I want to try a few more things on the menu before I go for a fifth star but Aladdin's Eatery is a great choice for anyone looking for a tasty, Middle-Eastern inspired meal in the West Chester area. -

Aladdin's is my go-to restaurant in West Chester when I'm craving Mediterranean food. Compared to other similar restaurants, though, there are a few things I don't like about this place. First of all, I wish they had a platter-type item that could give you more options--a little bag ganoush, some hummus, tabouli, a pita...would make a great meal. But that's virtually impossible to get unless you order all side items and want to pay upwards of $20. Not what I have in mind. The food is OK, not the best I've had. Like I said, it's my go to because I don't really know of anywhere else.

New Years dinner was really good. Maftka with rice was totally worth it. Jasmines Rice with beef kebob was the second place finisher.
Had looked for an Indian restaurant but got this some how. Great mistake though. -
Review from Angela B.
West Chester, OH
Fresh, light, unique, and healthy food at reasonable prices in an eclectic atmosphere. When I first drove by the new Aladdin's Eatery at Union Center, I looked with interest but didn't stop because I wrongly assumed that Aladdin's Eatery served strictly Indian fare (sadly, my stomach doesn't tolerate Indian food well).
On a more recent trip to the Chipotle that is in the same plaza, however, I decided to grab a to-go menu to check out the menu. I was surprised to find that Aladdin's features healthy American fare as well as Lebanese and more ethnic choices. I decided on the spot to nix the Chipotle idea and instead drug my boyfriend into Aladdin's.
It was a gorgeous day so we decided to sample Aladdin's eclectic fare at one of their outdoor tables; the inside restaurant was almost full at 1:30PM but not many diners were taking advantage of the weather. I settled on ordering the Hummos Garden Pita Wrap with a side salad, my boyfriend went for the decidedly more American Chicken Salad Pita Wrap with a side salad (he wanted fries but Aladdin's philosophy is strictly healthy, the closest you'll get to fries here is baked pita).
The salads were fresh and crisp and topped with "Aladdin's Dressing," a light vinaigrette that is more spice than oil, I loved it but diners beware: we both had pepper and other seasonings stuck in our teeth even after numerous attempts to wash them away with our Iced Teas (speaking of tea, Aladdin's offers a dozen varieties of herbal, black, and green, as well as flavored raspberry Iced Tea on request). The salad greens were topped with "Lebanese Salad," a chopped mixture of tomato, cucumber, and green pepper.
Both of our Rolled Pitas came out wrapped in foil and lightly toasted. The pita had been pounded thin and resembled a wheat tortilla. Mine was lightly lined with delicious home-made hummos and then stuffed full with fresh greens and more Lebanese Salad. I realized that I probably hadn't needed the side salad, as my entre was like a rolled version of the same dish...good, though, I ate the whole thing! My boyfriend enjoyed his very non-traditional Chicken Salad, there was absolutely no mayonnaise base, it was just chunks of seasoned grilled chicken and celery with lettuce, cheddar, and almonds. He said there wasn't enough chicken for him in the roll, and deemed Aladdin's, "good, but Chick food." Whatever. I thought it was outstanding and I will be returning, but maybe with my girlfriends instead.
Our entire meal totaled less than $20, our pita rolls were only $5.50 each. There is a kid's menu for really finicky palates that includes chicken tenders and a grilled cheese pita served with fresh fruit. We also saw that Aladdin's has a bakery, huge delicious cakes are on display inside the restaurant. -

We had a massive middle eastern food jones and ordered (take out) about 3/4 of the menu over the course of the weekend. Everything was great; the falafel perfect (agree it has a little more kick than usual) the hummus was legit - not just a cup of tahini, and all of the meats were oozing quality cuts. One mix-up on the order.
Massive cake/cheesecake display case with oversized options - totally did not see that coming when I went to pick up the food, and they got me. Damn you Aladdin's. Very solid middle eastern option in West Chester. -

I've been going to Aladdin's in Columbus for years, so I was super excited that there was also one in Cinci when I moved here.
I love the Salad Pockets. Specifically the chicken salad pocket and hummus pocket. Most of the menu is very vegetarian-friendly. If' I'm feeling saucy, I will get a vegetarian combo appetizer with a whole array of mediterranean apps. I also love the Shish Kabob rolled. The pitzas are good as well as the lentil soup and chili - really, it's hard to go wrong! The menu seems long, but that's only because it's really the same items over and over again served in/on/around different mediums (lettuce, pita, rice, etc)Listed in: Cincinnati Bib Gourmand, Strip Mall Surprises, Here's the Soup!

Cincinnati, OH
I first tried Aladdin's Eatery in Columbus near the Ohio State campus, and although there are 16 locations in Ohio and 10 more outside of the Buckeye State, I don't think many Cincinnatians know about this "casually upscale" Middle Eastern eatery. This is because there is just one location in all of Southwest Ohio, and that West Chester location has only been business for about three months.
Aladdin's calls itself the top eatery catering to the diets of vegetarians, as they have more than 40 vegetarian dishes. Of course, they also have 40 "delicious beef, lamb, and chicken dishes," making it a great restaurant for anyone who enjoys Middle Eastern food or simply trying a new cuisine. They have the juices, smoothies, hot teas, and iced teas, as far as drinks go, and there are many great food options. No doubt the worst thing, but at the same time a great thing, is that the menu is huge, so I had such a tough time deciding what to order. I ended up with the Chicken Shawarma Rolled Pita (marinated grilled chicken with tomato, onion, Tahini Yogurt Dressing), but I wished that I had gone a different route. It's not that I didn't like my food, but it wasn't what I was looking for, and I wasn't a fan of the pita being lightly toasted. I also thought it was a bit dry.
They do have plenty of other rolled pitas to choose from (including Vegetarian options), priced between $5.25 and $5.95, and they also have salads ($5.75-$7.95), specialty salads (more expensive), salad pockets (large salads stuffed in a whole pita, $5.75-$6.95), pita pitzas (served on pita, cut like pizza, $5.95-$6.45), specialty plates ($8.95-$11.95), and gourmet cakes and cheesecakes. The items on the menu seemed to either fall between $5 and $7, or in the $9 to $12 range.
I think they were exactly right in calling their restaurant "casually upscale" as it had that dinner atmosphere (nice booths, tables, and lighting, and good quiet music), while at the same time offered plenty of high quality food items at good, low prices. Even though I didn't especially like what I ordered, I know there are plenty of menu items I would enjoy (if only I could more easily navigate through the menu), the service was really great, and it's just a well-run restaurant. If you live in West Chester, frequent IKEA or the Rave movie theater, or know about Aladdin's from another Ohio location, then you're all set, but if you've never been I definitely suggest getting on your magic carpet and heading over for a "Whole New World" of food at Aladdin's*.

I love this place. We are regulars and they know it.
Paul is the manager (owner?) and he is kind to our crazy 4.5 year old.
This place is hopping at lunch and during dinner rush (6-8p).
Service is amazing and pretty consistent. There have been a couple hiccups here and there but there have been so many good experience, I still can't ding them.
Now let's talk food. Love their side salad. Simple, fresh, great dressing.
The first couple visits we were a little intimidated by the huge menu. What we figured out is there are a lot of combinations of similar foods.
We love anything shwarma here. Hummus, Pitas, Chicken, Beef, whatever... it is a great combination. They need to bottle the hot sauce it is so good. Also love their Pom Iced Green Tea (Brewed daily) and all their smoothie combinations.
Some friends introduced us to the falafels. They taste great... the description isn't the most appealing but if you are open to new tastes, very good!!
The cakes have been hit or miss for us... but I think it is just our taste pallet for sweets vs. traditional lebanese.
Net net... you can not go wrong here. -

My first time here...Popped in to pickup something for dinner. Menu was full of stuff I like, too bad I could only pick one. I finally chose the Grilled lamb salad. Verdict: Very fresh salad and nicely grilled lamb. Great portion size - they weren't skimpy on the lamb either. The lamb was piping hot and perfectly seasoned (not over salty). I was afraid the heat from the meat would wilt the veg's, so next time I'll ask to get them separated.
There are so many other dishes I want to try. For sure I'll be back. The guy at the counter was also super friendly. I'm happy to have found this place as my go-to restaurant for reasonably priced meals that are healthy, fresh with good quality and quantity. -

I really can't figure out if I liked it or not - I mean - it's been a couple of hours - and I still can't figure it out.
Well - I'll share my experience of Aladdin's Eatery in West Chester with you and let you decide if you want to go...
Service - it was scattered but attentive. We had 3-4 different servers stop by for a variety of reasons.
Appetizer - we got the Vegetarian Combo - hummus (pretty good), eggplant hummus (eh), grape leaves (pickley flavored but good), tabouleh (eh not so much) and falafel (really good). Price - $9.95
Entree - I had Sfiha and my friend had Fatayer (vegetarian). The Sfiha was very good - it had a strangely familiar taste that I still can't place. It's ground beef, onion, spices in a pita burrito type of thing. Price - $8.95 each
The pitas served with the hummus were not as good as a typical greek place - they were thin and tasteless - I wasn't a fan.
The desserts looked absolutely fabulous - there were so many and they looked fabulous! But will the app and entree - we were full up.
So - anybody else been there? See my dilemma? There was good and bad...I'm so cornfused!
I'll give it a 2.5 - which I guess would mean - I'd go back again but wouldn't be as adventurous and might leave room to try some of that fabulous looking dessert!Comment from Patty Carla Stevie A. of Aladdin's Eatery 2/2/2010

I was really surprised to see that someone has had a bad experience with Aladdin's. As a regional Mediterranean restaurant chain, it's hard to know what to expect because Mediterranean chains aren't exactly the norm.
New to West Chester, Aladdin's is a fantastic Lebanese eatery with plenty of variety on the menu. Actually, the menu has page numbers it's so large. It reminded me a lot of the Cheescake Factory in that way. We split a Pitza as an appetizer. Pitza's are pizzas made on pita bread with Mediterranean toppings. It was delicious. We all got salads before our entrees came and they came with the Aladdin's house dressing. It was similar to a Greek salad, but the dressing was very subtle. I loved it. My meal was a rolled pita sandwich with spicy garlic sauce inside. It was great, not too expensive, but a little small.
Of course, by the end of the meal we were all feeling full. Unfortunately, I couldn't deny the well-lit, well-displayed dessert case central in the restaurant. It had some of the biggest cakes in it I'd ever seen. My mom and I split a piece of the Chocolate Bomb cake and both really enjoyed it.
I also wanted to mention that the manager was going around to each table to make sure customers were happy. We'll definitely be returning. -

This was my third time to Aladdin's, and it is still a great spot, a nice alternative to the usual chains.
We shared a falafel appetizer, which had five falafel with great flavor. I agree with others that making you pay extra for hot sauce is silly, though.
For dinner I had a spinach and feta mixture in pita. Very good with the sesame dressing. My friend had something with lentils and grilled onions on top. She thought it was dry and got the spicy tomato dressing which was perfect. There were a few too many onions for my taste but it was good.
We'll be back! -

Really happy to see the Cincinnati area getting an 'Aladdin's.' Big fan since the time I lived in Cleveland and ate frequently at the Westlake location. The service is good. Great for kids. Lots of vegetarian choices, too.

This is a great little spot that caters nicely to vegans/vegetarians as well as their carnivorous friends. The falafel sandwiches and hummus are two of my faves...especially with extra hot sauce. They are now offering vegan desserts which makes me wildly happy! Great food and friendly staff. :)
