We went to the Alabama Theater to see One on a Monday night after having dinner at House of Blues.
Gotta say, I've been in the theater business for most of my life and I have pretty high standards when it comes to live entertainment.
5 stars for the venue! The Alabama Theater is a beautiful venue. Large, yet still intimate; ideal for any type of live show, musical, stand-up comedy, etc. Southern hospitality at its finest -- the staff was helpful, friendly and efficient. The Alabama ranks right up there with the finest venues in DC and New York.
5 stars for the show! The cast, crew and producers of One should be very proud. It is a great mix of humor, nostalgia, and spectacle. There are some great names in the cast and they really enjoy treating the audience to an amazing evening. I went from an ear-to-ear grin to crying to laughing to a standing ovation. Seriously considering going back for a second helping later this week.
Thanks Alabama Theater! I'll definitely be back again! -
