All your vintage, antique, and redneck needs may be met here.
Whatever possessed my to buy a raccoon tail for $8 I'll never know, but I now have a raccoon tail to swing around when and if necessary.
And there are 3 more in stock. -

This is the place for all your kitsch needs! My boyfriend and I were driving by yesterday when I made him reluctantly pull over. They have all kinds of beautiful purses, kitchen wares, accessories, coats and anything else that may have been made before 1945. I found the most amazing pocket shaving kit in a silver case and took home a cute little felt hat. I wore the hat around the rest of the day and received at least three compliments on it. They also have an adorable dog who is very well versed in playing catch.
By the way, the sign out side now reads "Alabama Hick," I don't know if this was their doing or some clever vandal, either way it's kind of cute. -

I tried going to this store several times before I was successful. My first time in, I found a record player. Or better yet, a portable record player. The owner played a record on it, to show me just how wonderful the sound is. The following weekend was my birthday and since she was only open weekends, we decided to come back on my birthday. Luckily, it was still there!
I know how it feels to close a business. The entire time there, I just wanted to say, "Bless your heart." Unfortunately, I won't get to shop here a million more times, but I know I will always remember the few times I made it in the door!Listed in: Born to Shop

This place doesn't sell chicken, just antiquey things.
I was initially disappointed, since it's by my work and when I first started I saw the sign and thought this could be a regular lunch spot.
I'm stil a bit disappointed, because I don't see it open on weekdays. It IS still in business though, on weekends. They have more jewelry, gadgety and overall small things here than most other vintage places around.
