Very friendly owner. I bought a beautiful kerman lavar rug for a good price. If you are looking for a rug of any color or style you should stop by this store.

Fabulous owner, wonderfully knowledgeable and as fair in his pricing as I've ever experienced. I've bought rugs from many different places over the years and Mickey is truly a gem--I'll never go anywhere else at this point. My mother and sister have now also bought rugs in there, as well as a friend and all had wonderful experiences. It really is as good as it gets at Al-Sahara.

Our decorator sent us here. Brought home a rug we really liked, and did the color-fastness test on it (took a damp rag to it), and wow, did the red color come off, which means if we ever washed it the red would have bled all into the other colors and fringe. Brought it back at which point they knocked 40% off the already low price, we said no. Bought a rug from somewhere else that had no color fastness issue.
