I just bought a new car from this dealership. My salesman was Manuel; he is awesome. I went in fully prepared with how much my tradein was worth, what i wanted on financing and i did not buy an extended warranty or prepaid service plan, as i never do. Everyone was very nice and we worked out a deal we were all happy with. Or at least i was happy with. They were probably just happy to get me off their lot. LOL It probably took 6 hours to buy the car, as expected. 3 hours the first day to walk in, test drive, pick model and get #s without any tradein or money down. Then i went home (had to talk to my independent car-buying consultants anyways) and back 2 days later (my salesman was off the day in between, which is good bc i don't like to rush into anything) and it took probably another 3 hours on my 2nd visit to go over the nitty gritty and put me in the car. I am a single girl, i look a lot younger than i am, the first day i was alone and the 2nd day my mom tagged along. They were very nice, they never patronized me and they didnt piss me off--a difficult feat, believe you me. If they did, i would have had no qualms about walking out. Best car-buying experience ever. This is a good dealership. Just do all your research: talk to your mechanic, talk to anyone you know who knows anything about cars and/or about finances, research rates on http://bankrate.com, check best car-types of articles, peruse dealership online inventory, etc. Go informed and allow yourself plenty of time to handle your transaction, no matter where you buy a car. But i highly recommend Arlington Ford. Ask for Manny.

service department wouldn't accept their own coupon they had sent me and didn't care when I said I'd never return to this Ford dealer;  an earlier time they took an hour simply to do an oil change in their quick lane;  and their showroom sales told me one time there was a manual shift focus titanium they would call me on when one came in  when there isn't any such product;  also my automatic transmission doesn't shift smoothly  anymore until after the car is well warmed up after I had brought it in due to a Ford transmission recall and they reprogrammed it.

I spoke with Pam over the phone looking for a black Transit, she claimed she had three on the lot, but when I got there there was none. Manuel (the actual sales person) told me they didn't have one , so I told him how unhappy I was that I drove all the way from Chicago for them to be wasting my time. Later that day I got  call from John the general manger who try his best to make the deal work., but at the end didn't seem to care about loosing a costumer. They made me drive up there and waste two days !! Overall, it was a bad experience from the start , (since they lied to me) I do have to say that Manuel and John were ( for the most part) very polite and were trying to fix the problem. At the end though, they drop the ball and didn't care about a customer walking away ( I guess they are making a lots of money )

The service staff is courteous and professional. They treat me like a person and tell me like it is. Good example: I pulled in with a loud muffler noise, and rather than fix it there for a large sum, they had no problem telling me I'd get a better deal at car x down the street.

Jerry and Steve, the daytime service managers are great, and always accommodating. Service is completed quickly and I've never had to return for a problem due to service.

Bad experience with these guys.  I bought a used car through this dealership and I will not go back to them.

I will say that I got a good price on the vehicle and that Big Dave in Finance seemed honest and fair.

The sales service was very unprofessional.  I test drove the car and decided I wanted to buy it.  The inside was a little dusty/dirty when I test drove the vehicle, so I asked them to have it wiped down for when I picked it up with my wife the following day.   When I picked up the car the next day, the inside was still filthy.

    Other problems:

They didn't update the Sync electonic system, so the my phone/ipod wouldn't connect.   I eventually figured it out and did it myself.

When I turned the defrost on, there was a funky smell.

I was told new brakes were recently put into the car... 5 months later (which is prompting my to write this review) I am $550 down because the breaks are completely shot.

They didn't give me an owners manual.  When I asked where it was they said "you can go buy one online for $75".

My salesman seemed pissed off at the world and annoyed that I was in the store.

If you have an option, go somewhere else.

By far the WORST car dealership in Illinois.  THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS who ripe off elderly people on top of it.  I wish I would of looked at this before my grandparents bought there car.  I am doing everything in my power to make sure the entire Chicago land knows what sleezeballs these people are.  I contacted Ford, my next step is Lisa Madigan, and I will go to every person and every new station to let it be known how they ripped off an elderly couple. Disgusting and the owner John tried to tell me that they are not like that and are very family orientated. Amazing on how you are very family orientated when an elderly couple comes in and you sell them a car because it is the "only" style they have in the color they want.  Surprising, its the one with an Ipod and blue tooth sync and sun roof. Who's going to teach them how to use that?  Oh and to top it off tell them they are going to throw Michelin tires in for no extra cost when the tires comes with the car.  Then take my grandparents car and give them 3,000.00 less then what they originally said they would give them and then put it on their website the next day for almost $7,000.00 more than what they gave them. If you want a Ford DO NOT GO to this dealership cause it seems to me their so called family orientated dealership is all about taking money and putting it in their pocket.  Everyone gets a business but to make over $12,000.00 off a 90 year old man is sick.

We just had a car that we bought here checked out at Carmax. Despite our salesman at Piemonte Ford assuring us that there was no accident in this vehicle's past, it turns out that it sustained frame damage and has had repairs to every single panel! We were told at Piemonte Ford that checking to see if there was an accident would cost $600, so we should just take the salesman's word. Stupid us for not remembering those dorky CarFax commercials that tell you how you can get this stuff checked out for free. Because we were duped by a shady salesman, we owe more than the car is worth and lost a significant amount of money in trade-in value. Carmax won't even sell a car that has had such significant damage--why will Piemonte Ford not only sell it, but lie to our faces about it too? My husband is a "car guy" who knows more than most about cars, but to detect this, he would have had to get underneath the car, because it was hidden pretty well.

Don't shop here. Drive over to Carmax instead, where they have a ton of selection and salespeople who earn a flat rate for commission--that means they have no incentive to try to sell you a more expensive car, because they earn the same for the sale whether you buy a ten year old Camry or a like-new Mercedes. Plus, none of the cars on their lot have dirty little secrets. The financing at Carmax is better, too--I feel like we got scammed on the interest and feel glad we didn't pay extra for one of their bogus warranties (which are void in cases of frame damage, by the way). On top of all that, the coffee in Piemonte Ford's waiting are tastes like bile.

How unfortunate that I can't give them a zero star review.

    Extremely unprofessional sales service.

Visited the dealership to test drive 3 specific vehicles. Got dealer Chuck Pettrone, who immediately asked if I owned my current car, if I had ever financed a car, what my credit rating was, if I could get a loan, and a number of other personal financial questions. This was ***before*** we even discussed which cars I wanted to test drive.

Chuck then attempted to take my license to do a credit check before I could name a single car. We left immediately. There are a variety of MUCH better dealerships along Dundee Road; don't waste your time with this one.

Do NOT trust these folks. I called to get details on a car they had posted online. I told their online representative--Cassie Smith--that we would only consider the car if it looked immaculate, since it had been a rental car and we were suspect of purchasing a former rental car. I also made it clear that we would be taking time off of work and arranging for a babysitter, so we did not want to waste our time or theirs. She said that outside of a small ding on a back panel it was unblemished. We went in this morning only to find the unit is in rancid condition. A rear fender is unattached with a screw sticking out into air. The driver's seat base is cracked. The hood doesn't fit evenly and needs to be forced open. The interior leather hasn't been cared for. The floor mats are a filthy yellow-gray. The wheels are gouged. The accents on the sides of the car are stained. This is an excessively abused car that should not be shown to any customer, let alone recommended for its impeccable condition. Do NOT trust these folks.

Good deal on the vehicle. BE VERY CAREFULL WHEN CLOSING! These guys are scam artists. Try to sell you every warranty under the sun, even lower your payments to add them. All they do is lower your intrest on the loan, then add a warranty item, bottom line for a $300 warranty, over the period of your loan that you're paying intrest on. It's a numbers GAME and they are good. They almost got me. For that alone I won't go back to them.
