Easily the best option for a quick Mexican meal in Dekalb; authentic taste, fresh ingredients, and very generous portions. Get the steak or chicken burrito combo, comes with rice/beans/guac/chips/drink for around $8.

One of the most underrated Mexican restaurants in the area. Everything is fast, delicious, greasy (in a good "oh man that's going straight to my thighs but it's so worth it" sort of way, not in a "grease at the bottom of a mcdonald's cheeseburger wrapper with an american cheese triangle stuck to it" sort of way), AUTHENTIC, and everyone there is so friendly! One time I had a twenty minute conversation with an employee about the usage of the word "Gordita" and he wasn't annoyed; rather, he seemed incredibly happy to discuss Mexican slang with me. Hurrah!~
I crave their gorditas, burritos, and other delicious foods on a fairly regular basis o_o It's just so good! I don't know why so many people have never heard of them here! Heck, they even do drive thru AND delivery AND dine-in! Amazing. -

Wow, I'm impressed!
Authentic tacos with good quality meats and fresh ingredients, fresh delicious guacamole and the complimentary chips were very tasty, all for a very reasonable price! I sure hope this place stays around as it is the certainly the best fast-food Mexican joint in town and in my opinion the best Mexican food in town overall, better than the much higher priced Mexican-for-white-people restaurants on the east side of Lincoln Highway! -

The best Mexican food in the entire area HANDS DOWN. I know good food, and this place is it. Ed's is WAY overpriced, and they use NON-marinaded CANNED chicken-YUK. This place is AWESOME. Great Tacos (only a buck) and they deliver just about anywhere (even Sycamore!). I have to admit, I was very weary about this place because I heard from some people that the food wasn't that good. MAN, were they WRONG. This place is great, I hope they stay around.
