This review comes from an athlete who has put a good 20 years of stress/wear and tear on her body. Leo has come to be a wonderful source of relaxation, healing, and awareness for me.
Not only has she helped me with various sports injuries, she has taught me how to help myself when I am not being treated (although the best healing comes from regular visits..)
I am always impressed with her ability to pin-point the problem area, even when I don't know where it is! She is so in tune with the body and has the knowledge of what technique to use.
She makes you feel very comfortable and confident in her abilities.
I would recommend any athlete with chronic pain or looking for relief (or for an amazingly relaxing massage just to treat yourself!) to see Leo - she is fantastic. -

In short, Leonora is the most talented healer I know. She is incredibly intuitive, has precise palpation skills and is truly passionate about her life's work. She is adept at a variety of healing modalities and continues to learn and expand her healing box of tricks.
As a massage therapist myself, a former assistant to the De Anza College massage program and an active member in the American Massage Therapy Association...I know a LOT of healers. I've had a LOT of hands on my body over the years and of the (literally) hundreds of therapists I've helped graduate from the program or explored as part of my own healing path, Leonora is one of a small group of therapists that I continue to seek out because of her skill, beautiful personality and complete respect for my body.
Her office is in a quiet business complex flanking the Los Gatos Creek Trail. It is simple, small and a perfectly safe and relaxing haven for therapeutic work. She utilizes relaxing music, pillows and props and the cushy foam on her table is TO DIE FOR!
Leonora adapts each massage to the specific ailments or direction of growth I'm pursuing at each session. No session is ever the same. But one thing is certain, each session leaves me feeling deeply refreshed. -

If you have not had a massage from Leonora, you are truly missing out on one of the best healing and relaxing massage experiences you can treat yourself to.
When I had my first massage with Leonora my impression was "This small woman has such strong and healing hands"!
She healed many conditions that I thought were chronic.
I didn't think she could get much better than she already was, but she did! Leonora or Leo as I call her, continues to learn and practice new healing techniques in addition to the ones she already possesses.
She is extremely professional and is passionate about her work .
Each time I have a massage, I walk out feeling energized and calm at the same time. My body feels amazing. Even men who like a really deep tissue massage are surprised at how she manages to find the knots they thought would never move. I cannot praise this therapist enough.

Leonora is an amazing healer. She has a positive and sincere personality and a wonderfully intuitive sense of touch. She is able to not only treat the symptoms, but follow the pathways to the source of the issues. She has had extensive training in a number of techniques, and with her years of experience, she knows exactly which modality or combination of them will give the best result. Massage has far reaching benefits, I am always astonished at how great I feel after receiving a therapeutic massage. I have found massage to be like exercise, in that regular practice yields the most benefits. I highly recommend Leonora and Akene Healing Center.
