AJ's Tavern is a landmark in this town, If you like it or not. Cheap beer, one of the longest bar's you will see, best wings in town. Monday night is "Wing Night" me and my buddy Jeff are always saying we are going to make it to wing night, but we haven't in quite awhile. I don't go out to the bar as much as I used to, but we have spent a lot of time and money there back in the day and that was not that long ago. Just writing this is making me want to get over there for some wings. Maybe soon. Another thing we used to like alot was taco night on Thursday's. The tacos were like 50 cents or something like that. They have done a lot of work to the bar to make it a lot nicer inside then it used to be. A deck was added after the smoking ban, so you smokers will have to enjoy sitting on the deck. For the non-smokers we enjoy the smell of stale beer minus the smoke. The bathroom is legendary.

Went to AJ's for the first time on Friday night (Aug. 27, 2011) with a group of friends to see a very talented, fun local band, Tritium. We knew the music would be good. AJ's outside appearance is deceiving. It's rather large inside with the longest bar I've ever seen! Nic elocal crowd with varied age mix -- very friendly. I did not eat, but the food looked and smelled good. AJ's is nothing fancy, but is a very enjoyable local bar with a nostalgic type setting and room to dance. We had a great time! We're planning to go to AJ's again on Friday, Sept. 23, when Tritium is playing.

GREAT LUNCH SPECIALS! Daily specials. Lively and sometimes TOUGH CROWD. A fun Place to go with the girls / guys. DO NOT BRING AN ATTITUDE. WING night is very popular. Very good food. Great meal deals and Beer Specials. Service is great but sometimes slow because of the crowds. Outdoor screened in porch with bar for the smokers. Pool tables. Open early in the morning to satisfy the night shift crowds. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO TAKE THE KIDS AFTER 8PM
