Established in 1992

Anthony J. Padgett Gallery began modestly in the early 90's as a single store front in Southern Illinois, near the Missouri border. As Anthony's reputation grew, so did the gallery. Soon the business expanded to several stores across St. Louis and Southern Illinois. It wasn't until nearly a decade later than Anthony packed up his business and headed to the Indianapolis area. Here in Central Indiana, the gallery opened a storefront in the city of Noblesville and maintained a presence on the square for 4 years. After the tenure in Noblesville it was time for a move to Carmel's Clay Terrace Mall.

Meet the Business Owner: Anthony P.

After graduating with a Graphic Design Degree from Southern Illinois University in 1991, Anthony got a job in St. Louis and for six months thought his career path was determined. Until he went to a Ducks Unlimited Banquet in the fall of 1991. It was seeing the artwork up for auction that helped him realize that he could do the same. He quit his job as a graphic designer and struck out on a new career path: wildlife artist. His experiences growing up with a love of wildlife and the outdoors made the transition an easy one. He soon moved to Noblesville, IN to continue his passion and has made a reputation portraying wildlife and landscapes of Indiana and North America.
