Saw a commercial, went to the website, made a call, and saved about $500 on my insurance. (I saved a ton due to the fact that Indiana has higher regulations than California, so I now have a California policy instead of one from Indiana.)

They charge an $85 fee but for me it was worth it. I like to handle 'business' through email as much as possible and it seemed my rep shied away from emails and preferred phone calls.

My rep's name was Connie Ashley and she was very friendly and had me insured in less than a day. The number I have for her is:

OK insurance, it's always cheaper than Geico, or any other heavily advertised crap insurance company.  State Farm is usually close in prices but not enough to switch.

I've used them for years now, but what spurs me to post is their new privacy policy.  They sent out a letter which appears to be a helpful summary of your current accounts.  However, it is a disguised opt-out letter which on page three details how to avoid "sharing your information with third parties" (i.e. junk mail senders).  Said opt-out requires an envelope, a stamp, your policy number, and your signature.  No 1-800 or internet site to opt-out.  Opting in for junk mail requires.... nothing!  Just throw the envelope out without reading the fine print and you will be getting Franklin Mint circulars for Star Wars chess sets until 2020.
